I read an enormous number of posts on various forums every day, and I manage this by speed reading. Oversized text and difficult colours make this harder. Often this means that I have to skip the post, or maybe close the thread if it is the first post. Capitalistion is another killer, you can't pick up phrases to speed read if the post is capitalised.
Oversized or coloured text is a good way to high light important messages and features but some people abuse it for their empty posts. Like you, i skip those posts too.

In my opinion merit system is a great idea and a non-regulatory way to control the members from posting spam in this form.
Merit system don't force anyone to make quality posts. But we must make constructive posts rewarded merit to rank up. This is unfair to newbies who are posting quality posts but never get merits due these selfish senior members?
you didn't receive merit because you are not worth for it. If there is rule for newbies to survive in this form why there is no rule for these senior members?
First come first serve. Old members have activated and contributed for this forum for years. At least 8.5 month to reach senior rank (before when no merit system). They are worth for it. If this flaw is fixed then i think merit system the best.
No thanks, until now it's good

You're right about high rank member easily to get merit with simple post, just like that they gathering together as a group and cross sending merit.

Merit system is created to increase post quality, not for trading purpose. If you want some merits to rank up, make high-quality posts. I't good to see that you also disagree with merit abused, you can help by report it to Mod or report it here: USERS THAT ARE ABUSING MERIT SYSTEM if you see any cases that seem like Merit abused.

So many people don't realize the Merit system is designed so that they don't reach a higher level anymore, to reduce the spam on the forum. You type broken English, it's not really clear what you're asking, but you post it anyway.
Instead of creating a new tread on the same subject that is covered in many other threads, you could have read them. But you didn't.
Your English is so bad too, revise yourself before criticizing somebody.

I think that only the posters with their quality posts worth to receive merit. S.o create a good starting post thread, he's worth for some merits, the same for who make good comments. A thread with many quality replies not mean that thread creator has a good starting post

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Bitcoin wallet APP + Samsung Galaxy S4 + factory reset (2015)

This is really a hard case because you Factory Reset your SS phone without backup data ( i guess because i don't see you mention it, and if not there will not be this thread). - How to transfer every data from my samsung galaxy s4 to my pc without LCD (lcd for SG4 was crashed)
- First you need to recover your phone's data. In this case, you must use data recovery software, there are many different software, free and paid fee. For me, the best free software i have used is Gihosoft Android Recovery Free, it also has paid fee option, you can try or find better software. You don't need to repair your LCD screen because this process occur on your computer and recovered data come back into your comouter - then, Should i use app for windows (like recuva ) or mby try doing somethink from Linux os ?
- I think windows apps can't be used for recovery phone data. - Which method will be the best ?
- Using a android professional data recovery software, as i recommend below. - Finnally. How should i looking for this "data" I dont know where should i looking for ? In whcich folder the data with my btc is stored ?
It's a dat. file, maybe named wallet.dat

Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Lightning Network is Centralized?
|
on: February 01, 2018, 07:15:33 AM
|
I recently learned about the Bitcoin lightning network being worked on. From what I understand it would allow instant, cheap, micro-payments, essentially allowing bitcoin to be used for retail payments. If so this sounds like it could be big thing to Bitcoin. For those want more information about Lightning Network because it's such a new thing, find it here: 1. https://lightning.network/. 2. https://lightning.network/lightning-network-paper.pdfBut the problem is i see that LN looks like a network of several centralized hubs, which called decentralized, but to me it's a large, centralized hubs. So it make Bitcoin more centralized So i try to find out more about this, if is there any same opinions and found a good article claim that Lightning Network can't be decentralized. https://medium.com/@jonaldfyookball/mathematical-proof-that-the-lightning-network-cannot-be-a-decentralized-bitcoin-scaling-solution-1b8147650800Guys do you have same think with me or what do you think about Lightning Network, centralized or not?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What programs are available to recover keys from Linux version 0.2
|
on: February 01, 2018, 03:56:40 AM

I have an old hard drive that might have a couple of Bitcoin on it. Any help would be appreciated.
Not sure about Bitcoin-qt or not, there was a guy helping me set up it up, it had an odd Linux partition type that most programs won't mount it. I ran it off of a live boot disk, and set up partitions for it to store data there. He sent me a couple of coins to get started messing with it, but I got busy working and never had a chance to do anything. Only thing I done is make the keys and send a public key to him, he sent back a transaction number and that's as far as I ever got. I tried one time to mount it again and it didn't mount and I forgot how to force mnt it, so it has just sat there. Wondering if pywallet would be a good way to get the keys from the partitions.
I did make a clone of the partitions. As far as I remember I only made the one key pair.
can you give the system message gave out when mount failing? If your problem is not solved, i willing to help?

This looks more like a problem with your X server rather than Bitcoin Core.

I get this error: QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display desktop:0 I have a CLAM coin client that is based on a similar client and it works with no issues I've googled a bit about it but with no solution! thx for the support How to solve: You need to use an X-server on Jenkins machine to run the GUI program.
