Is there any progress on the swaps-DEX and am I getting an answer anytime soon?
Hey, you can go to swaps.org and download the official Linux and Windows apps - they're already fully working, supporting trustless on-chain swaps for BTC, ETH, XMR, ERC-20 (DAI, USDT, USDC, etc). Do let us know how you like it!

is this the wallet of Bitcoin atom? Is their token listed There? Hi bucayboyne, Actually there is a dedicated Bitcoin Atom wallet suited for working with BCA specifically. Please check it out at lightning-wallet.com. Many thanks to our community member Anton for bringing this brand new Lightning wallet to the BCA ecosystem. You are on the bleeding edge of Lightning Network applied use with BTC and BCA.

New BCA node (atomd) release available at https://github.com/bitcoin-atom/bitcoin-atom/releases
IMPORTANT! Please update your Atom node to the latest version ASAP, as Proof-of-Stake block generation is already activated on the mainnet.
Our exchange and wallet partners are due to complete BCA integration in the very near future. Please watch Bitcoin Atom social media and bitcoinatom.io for updates on individual partners.
GUI Atom wallets are on their way.

Simply put: minting will be generating blocks (PoS blocks), but it will not bring any APY (% per year), thus Bitcoin Atom's total supply will never exceed 21M coins.
Participating in PoS minting will simply give a variable amount of transaction fees as a profit from minting.
PoW model (mining) will continue to operate normally in parallel.

Recently we had been receiving questions about Bitcoin Atom's PoS model.
Just as announced, BCA will have both PoW and PoS consensus models put in place. However, our main objective is to preserve the original Bitcoin's deflationary economic model. This means that the total supply of BCA will never exceed the original 21M coins.
Thus, PoS minting will not generate any additional subsidy, its primary goal is to serve for the network security and stability. However, it will still be reasonable to keep your Bitcoin Atom node up and running, as PoS minting still gives you proceeds from transaction fees of transactions included in PoS blocks.

do you ask if you have to make any registration to participate?
I wann know if i have to make any type of registration, too DO you ask this to participate in the bounty program or in the fork? Yes, i ask this The bounty is like another one If you participate in it and join to facebook ans twitter you must register I understand this, because they need to have my data to give me the stakes But to participate in the fork, what is necessary? In order to participate in the fork, simply keep your BTC in either wallets with a private key access (e.g. Coinomi) or exchanges which support BCA (e.g. OKEx). We will publish new wallet/exchange partners in the coming days. Stay tuned for updates!

based on that article BCA really seems to be upgraded BTC. keep up the good work devs, I'd appreciate more texts like that to learn as much as I can about your project and crypto in general Does it means that BCA is not a new cryptocurrency? Is it a new upload version of BTC? Both statements are true in this context. Bitcoin Atom is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain with major protocol upgrades that will occur in December. At the predetermined block number the original BTC blockchain will be forked into BCA, and any transactions made since then will be completely separate on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Atom networks. At that moment, Bitcoin Atom will go live on mainnet and become an independent cryptocurrency. Thus, it is both a new cryptocurrency and a new upgraded version of BTC. As a Bitcoin fork, Bitcoin Atom (BCA) attempts to eliminate weaknesses in BTC by bringing a hybrid consensus approach, on-chain atomic swaps via HTLCs and their faster off-chain lightning analogs.

This is the official BCA Bounty thread.Hi dev. I have a question.
"You have to retweet at least 7 tweets per day from BCA Twitter account". Is this not a mistake? Maybe you mean per week?
Atombounty please elaborate on that.

|
In the roadmap you say that is going to be a Hybrid consensus, what does it means?
Hybrid consensus is essentially a combination of Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake consensus approaches, allowing for additional network security by both mining and minting blocks. Every block type has the same block interval as of the original Bitcoin (~10 mins on average).

There will be pre-mined coins?
No premine is possible for a Bitcoin fork (due to its nature). Thus, there will be no premine for BCA.

Exciting Bitcoin fork project, but why you chose the ASIC friendly SHA256 algorithm over a GPU or a CPU mining algorithm?
And why did you implement a two-week difficulty adjustment?
I'm wondering the same on two-week difficulty adjustment Please check my post above on 2-week adjustment: retargeting on every block would result in ridiculous oscillation in the difficulty level when there's a hot streak and several blocks are found in short succession or a cold streak where a block isn't found for a long period

Exciting Bitcoin fork project, but why you chose the ASIC friendly SHA256 algorithm over a GPU or a CPU mining algorithm?
And why did you implement a two-week difficulty adjustment?
We already had a similar question, and our thinking on it is the following: Atomic Swaps are the way forward for exchanging - this is called innovation for decentralization.
Bitcoin holders will receive one Bitcoin Atom for each Bitcoin they hold.
Merry X-mas if you want to decentralize, get rid of sha256 and move to a gpu only algo. There already exist forks which attempt to decentralize the system by moving to a GPU-only algo. BCA, however, takes a different approach (in terms of block generation & consensus model) and uses a hybrid PoW/PoS, providing processing power decentralization. Regarding 2-week difficulty adjustment: nothing surprising actually, as retargeting on every block would result in ridiculous oscillation in the difficulty level when there's a hot streak and several blocks are found in short succession or a cold streak where a block isn't found for a long period - as per Compro01 (bitcoin.stackexchange) and common sense. pretty scrap project information and missing a lot of nianse. It seems quite interesting and promising but does not inspire trustDo you have a telegram?
We strive to provide as much information as possible - can I ask you to share what's missing in the original ANN? Will be happy to adjust it accordingly - thanks
