OK I think I get it. Poloniex's registered agent was using 49dollarmontanaregisteredagent as a registered agent.

That makes it way less shady. /s

Here's some reassuring info regarding the legitimacy of Poloniex https://www.reddit.com/r/Buttcoin/comments/46ch9n/poloniex_the_third_largest_cryptocurrency/

Looks like they are trying to cover their tracks. The footer with the address to 49dollarmontanaregisteredagent is now gone.

I submit that my empirically superior predictive powers objectively indicate a closer connection to and understanding of reality than the windfall-seekers.

LOL!

If HashFast doesn't ship anything this year, apart from Christmas cards, I get a full refund.  In BTC.

Given the coins have appreciated 300% vs fiat since I spent them, I'm fine with that.

Once again, I call BS on these new photos. What is it with these supposed customers posting suspicious pics of recieved miners but being completely unable to post mining stats or proof that they actually own & run them?

The more posts I see of supposed recieved miners, the more I'm convinced it's a scam. Look at cloudthink.io for example, there were hero members vouching for that scam also, it's the same with this thread. At least cloudthink had the bottle to post in their own thread, unlike sfards. When I see hashing proof with names & dates I'll be convinced - but until then, this is another elaborate scam which BCT has become famous for peddling the last few months. Utter BS.

You've got it all backwards. Screenshots of mining software or pool stats are incredibly easy to fake. Anyone who knows the basics of Photoshop can do it. Pictures of unique hardware however is much harder to fake (not impossible though).

It's not like this is a new company touting impossible specs. They've been around for more than a year (formerly known as gridseed) and have delivered all miners without any significant issues AFAIK.

Also many of the people who received the SF100's are reporting problems/deficiencies which wouldn't make sense if they were shills trying to convince people to buy from sfards.
6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website | Starting from 1 GHs @ 0.0008 BTC | Since November 2014 on: August 02, 2015, 11:47:25 PM
It is now well known that some of the old contracts did not perform well. Those who bought more have comfortably covered their loss.

It is well known that anyone who invests in your ponzi will only receive decent returns until you are sure they won't reinvest any more money. At that point you will decrease payouts to dust and ensure that they never break even. Then when they come to the forum to complain that their payouts are shit, you think you can counter them with supportive posts from your hilariously obvious shill accounts.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: August 01, 2015, 06:52:17 PM
If your referring to me as a shill your off base, out of line and straight wrong.

If you are truely a customer of theirs just trying to give them a positive review, you have to understand you're doing a bad job. You come off as a desperate salesman pretending to be an unaffiliated customer. (i.e. a shill)

Quote
I rarely comment about anything, usually its just to support my friends. That is all I am doing here.

See that's what you're doing wrong. Nobody cares about the experience of some random guy with no reputation whose only posts in the past 6 months are persuasive essays for a company nobody's ever heard of.

Quote
However you have just reminded me why I don't usually come on BitCoinTalk and post. The reason is I have never seen individuals that go after people online like I have experienced and witnessed here. It blows me away.

I doubt you avoid bitcointalk for this reason. Your posts indicate you really don't know much about the bitcoin ecosystem. If you did then you'd know ASIC/crypto scams (and the shills that always come with them) are rampant.

Quote
Here its guilty till proven innocent. Thats not the way it really works. You know that

Handing money over to shady companies until they are definitively proven to be guilty is the type of philosophy that guarantees you'll get scammed repeatedly until you have nothing left. Scammers love people like you because they can just keep creating new scam companies every time they are definitively proven scammers. There will always be a few suckers willing to give their new company a shot.

I and most others in the bitcoin space have adopted the philosophy "untrustworthy until proven trustworthy" simply because it works.

The people behind iTop are not new. Everyone is tired of getting ripped off. However to be frank I am not very familiar with any major scandals regarding ASICs but I don't doubt there have not been any.

Back in Oct 2012 I started sending through Paypal money to Butterfly Labs because I believed in them. I pre-ordered so many Jalapeņos that I started converting them into Singles. I trusted Brian, Jody and Josh. This went on for a year before I realized I was burnt. Do you know who's fault that was? Mine, it was my fault. The writing was on the wall but I continued with an incurable optimism until I finally realized it was over.

However this did not make me start harassing legitimate sellers of ASICs or new companies of being bad actors. I was grateful to see more businesses selling ASICs because I knew then that we would eventually obtain some. Most of us started our ASIC mining with the USB's from Friedcat. When I needed a large USB Hub I went to one of the iTop owners that was just selling them on eBay back then and he got it to me fast. Thats how long this team has been around. The iTop Corporate brand is just the name of their new Business which they had to jump through a lot of hoops to get rolling. I think they even had to register their logo image.

I want to see these guys at iTop do well. Once they build up a much bigger base we will see all kinds of cool stuff. They are big into the Drones now but I am hoping to see some killer deals on 3D printers, Solar Generators, and more mining equipment and ways to save save energy while still being able to compete as an independent home miner.

Let me try to get a hold of a friend of mine on the East Coast and ask him to comment here in regards to these peoples character and trustworthiness. Plus a friend of mine in the UK that runs some NOMP pools because he bought like nearly a dozen in one shot of those Silverfish LTC Miners from them through the old iTop ebay store back in 'May 2015' I believe. These peoples credibility needs to be established immediately before any accusations based on assumptions.

Because everyone these days is so busy and if that means I am not able to get anyone here to back up what I am saying. I recommend you look at this at face value. If the risk if far greater than the reward then just don't do it. However please wait until there is actually proof that they are acting in bad faith before pounding them on here with FUD.

I recommend reaching out to iTop and doing Business with them. You will not regret it. These guys are well financed, connected and have this down to a science. They are available around the clock. You will appreciate the way they do business. I know I do and I have yet to have heard any complaints but only praise from the numerous friends I have sent to them over the last few years.

I briefly looked at itop, and while I'm not convinced they are scammers, you've convinced me that they are using shills and are not to be trusted.

Hedgy is providing freshly mined coins on behalf of Megabigpower, one of the few legit/trustworthy companies in the world of bitcoin mining. They had a bitcoin IPO for a 100TH/s farm and were one of the only bitcoin securities that managed to pay back IPO investors more than the IPO price per share.

They started with 100 TH/s and are now at 100 times that (10 PH/s).

Why would anyone believe that CMW is selling freshly mined coins for a premium when this trustworthy company (MBP) is selling them for a discount?
I'm not interested in this cloud mining controversy, but interested in the freshly mined coins at discounted price. So just trying to understand Hedgy's business. Say, they are giving 1% discount. So, if I send them 1 BTC used coin, they'll give me 1.01 BTC fresh coin ? I mean, how come ? How do they do business ?

That's not how it works. You pay USD for BTC. They can give a discount because it let's them avoid selling on the exchanges which would crash the price.

I will take some hash power if you can provide some for scrypt mining than SHA mining. Also you got any pictures of your mining data co location or equipment to prove have the power. If you do provide scrypt contracts and these be pointed to any type of coin I would like to put towards on own custom pool as would be good feature too have then all in house and direct.

We do not provide scrypt mining contract. Sorry.

Is this something you maybe doing in the future to expand on or just staying pure SHA side of things. Even with SHA I might consider buying. Do you get own pool to mine on outside and can choise where to put power to or is this all in house and daily payments only?

I've never seen a legendary member begging to get scammed.

Did you buy that account or did you somehow manage to survive 3 years in bitcoinland with such naivety?
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PSA: cypherdoc is a paid shill, liar and probably epic scammer: HashFast affair on: July 15, 2015, 12:24:29 AM
You never did respond to my question of what capacity you were involved with the HashFast affair? Yet another aching rabbit hole of incompetence, charlatanism, waste and possible fraud there too?

He's paid shill #2.

He was in control of the "Hashfast_CL" account. Unlike cypherdoc (who actually convinced many people to give HF money), all Icebreaker was able to do was convince people to go forward with legal action against HF and solidify this communities hatred for the company.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: about cloudmining.website on: July 10, 2015, 12:48:06 AM
So, please provide proper links where they provide freshly mined coins...

Why is it that you know absolutely everything about cloudmining.website, yet you can't do research and/or are not interested in any other cloudmining company? (rhetorical question)

Quote
Also, never heard of hedgy. Is it another venture of yours like HaveLock ?

Funny how you, RussianRainbow, SpanishSoldier, and GermanGiant are the only "people" who accuse me of working for Havelock, the only "people" who misspell Havelock with a capital L, and the only "people" who post exclusively about this particular ponzi. Totally not all the same shill.

They only sell B2B which is really the way to go.

Hi ther Cloud Mining Website Team,

im tryin to sign up on your Website but it says "Please provide a valid bitcoin address."
Is there any Problems at the Moment from ure site?

Just curious, what made you decide you want to invest in this ponzi?

There are dozens of better looking ponzi's that don't look like they were designed by a 12 year old learning php.

Could you please explain how a Ponzi will stop taking new orders, bar new people to join and still keep paying ? It is now almost a week, they are not taking order or allowing new people to join. According to you, they dont have any mining firm. So, how will they survive if they stop money to roll in ?

Pbmining sent dust payments every week for months after the ponzi collapsed.

What that has to do with the question I have asked ?

I don't think I need to explain how a ponzi works to someone running a ponzi.

Halting new purchases for a week will have a very little impact on the ponzi considering it averages 1.5 customers per month.

Every real customer is receiving dust payments so you could probably keep this ponzi going for years with a stash of only a few btc depending on how little you want to pay the ponzi participants.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ANN] HashCoins - Cryptocurrency Mining Hardware Manufacturer on: July 03, 2015, 12:31:04 AM
How is that at all relevant to my initial post? I asked why my positive review was so hard to believe. You appear to have answered a completely different question!

... and for the record... I don't pay for my power.

Again... I am a genuine HashCoins customer who received excellent customer service.

What made you decide to purchase from this ultra shady company which is known to be full of shit? Especially when there are cheaper and safer alternatives from companies that actually design/produce their own hardware?

I don't understand why anyone would buy from a company who only resells Chinese miners with a ~300% markup[1] and repeatedly lies about their hardware specs (even tried to fake cgminer stats).

Seems the only people who would consider buying from hashcoins a remotely sane investment are those who know absolutely nothing about bitcoin/bitcoin mining. This is evidenced by the fact that every hashcoins customer has a few dozen posts max. (Most of the time they suspiciously post exclusively about hashcoins)

17  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: At what point do we stop kidding ourselves? Bye Bye mining farms. on: June 30, 2015, 02:58:53 AM
How about the eco-system?

Now lets assume that everyone mining right now is rocking the best of the best hardware (they aren't) grabbing 0.5w/ghs. FYI electricity cost in washington is cheap. REALLY CHEAP. Due to all the hydroelectric power. That been said its about .04$ on an industrial tier. Which means they can run really inefficient hardware by our standards and still be profitable so this is a lot worse than iv'e calculated. I should note EVERYONE is flocking to washington right now with their miners. That means with bitcoins total hash-rate of 177,943,954 GH/s that its energy consumption would be around 88,971,977 Watts or 88.9 Megawatts of power.

Again these numbers are likely far below actual. I would tack on an additional 30% even for people running older hardware.

88.9 MEGAWATTS OF POWER PEOPLE

We can only assume that with the reward drop coming up that either hashrate will double or the price of bitcoin will have to rise. Maybe a bit of both as im speculating but regardless.

Does this seem responsible? We are basically polluting on a massive scale to make pennies on the dollar.

You have to assume at some point governments will come together to put this to an end?

If miners are flocking to places like Washington with dirt cheap hydro electric power, wouldn't that be a good thing? After all hydroelectric is one of the most environmentally friendly forms of power generation.

Your taking an entire community and comparing it to one company. A government can hold a company liable for pollution it creates. They have absolutely NO way of holding a community liable for the pollution it creates.

LOL. You think you can source several MW worth of power without paying taxes? Good luck with that.

Quote
I would for the second time state and agree that it creates less pollution than current systems. Again this argument is not about gold vs btc. Nor current banking vs btc. Its about solely the pollution created by mining. Lets stay OT.

You've admitted bitcoin is more environmentally friendly than current banking systems, and "well it's not environmentally friendly enough" isn't really an argument so I think this thread can be concluded.

Let's focus on NLC instead.  After all, he told us this was a scam... how'd he know, if he's not a part of it himself, hmm?
And what about all the other scams he warned us about?  I mean, those all seemed super legit, how'd he know?  I say we track that little smartass piece of shit down first and have a good talk with him, if you boys know what I mean Wink

Any chance we can direct the fund to take out NotLambChop. I have all his details if anyone wants to pay him a visit.

Ive never seen NLC call any offering anything BUT a scam. his trolling defeats itself because he unanimously carpet-bombs these threads with scam accusations. There is nothing he has ever supported... maybe MPOE or MPex or whatever that ponzi is called... and it has been said he is either under employ of Mircrea Popscue or actually the man tranny himself. besides, if he was part of the scam why would he suggest that it was indeed a scam?

he's annoying as hell, but just a troll... I haven't even seen him around here for a while anyway...

Or are you simply upset because everything you've "invested" in, without exception, turned out to be pure, unadulterated scam? Just as NLC told you it would?

"Does anyone else hate notlambchop for being always right?"

I must admit notlambchop, what a creative way to masturbate in public.

Quote
Did he make some bad calls?  Called something a scam, which later turned out to be legit?

Yes, you did. You said every bitcoin security (specifically everything listed on havelock) is a scam meanwhile PETA and BDD have fulfilled (without breaching) their contracts.

Even though 99% of bitcoin securities are scams, you still couldn't manage to be right 99% of the time by calling everything you see a scam.

You spent hundreds of hours writing thousands of posts spewing verbal diarrhea and convinced literally nobody of the point you were trying to make. Well done.

A positive review  Grin

I recently purchased hardware from HashCoins and have been very happy with my experience with them.

Their communication has been extremely quick and efficient, even during an Estonian public holiday!

Their staff have always been polite and very patient with someone who is admittedly rather new to mining. The delivery was very quick  and the unit was well packaged.

I would purchase from HashCoins again with the confidence that I would be dealing an ethical and legitimate company.

This is quite possibly the most obvious shilling I've seen in my life.

If a dozen noob accounts with zero reputation, who only post about hashcoins and its greatness, is enough to convince you to preorder from these blatantly obvious scammers (who have been caught lying repeatedly by trusted members), then I've got a bridge to sell you.
