Now I just read in that "initial paycoins" thread https://hashtalk.org/topic/22975 that 7.2 million coins are going to customers. That doesn't make any sense. I came up with less than a million coins above, that's for the additional 4 weeks. Before that hashpool was only active for two weeks and only Primes could mine, plus Zens for a few days. It can't add up to 7.2 million in any way that I can see. So either I'm really bad with math, or the number of hashlets is 5-10 times larger than I'm estimating, or there is something else going on with the premine. 7.2m * 400 hp = 2.9 billion hashpoints 20hp/day/mh for 2 months would be 1200hp 2.9b/1200 = 2500 GH/s

Send your money there and you can use that in whatever means paybase will use to pay the merchant or pay bills with. What if you could pay your taxes with BTC or for that matter with any crypto without incurring large bank transfer costs. What if I wanted to pay something in JPY evenr tried that in a bank?
What part of "it's already been done" don't you understand? If you were really interested in those gawsome features, you would have done a single google search and learned how many services already exist that do exactly what you want. This would be the ultimate exchange any currency in and you really don't need to worry about how the payment is being made to the party you are paying.
You only need to worry about the unregulated/unaudited bank of GAW running away with all your money. No big deal. Ok fair enough. What if it was regulated? Thats a big what if. If they were fully regulated and audited that would definitely lower the sketchiness factor by a few points. But why would you send any money to a company that can't go a week without a catastrophic failure of some sort? Q: Do I need to get verified to trade PayCoin and Bitcoin for FIAT on PayBase? A: PayBase will follow all local regulations and AML compliance laws. Verification will be required and KYC policies will be in place.
This doesn't mean anything. They will have to prove they've registered as a MSB in every state.

I really believed in the project and still do. I hope they can make it work. Because if it does it will be good for all crypto not just XPY but also for BTC and numerous other coins. But nobody seems to understand this.
What part of this get rich quick scheme provides any benefit to crypto? (other than making a some people richer and some poorer) Please don't use my former name. I'm done with it.
What name?

HashCoins has been 1.5 years on the market, and this thread has 17.5/18 pages of comments by strange people who still don't believe the mere existence of this company. However, this hasn't influenced the speed of the company's progress. Just like one year ago - we were, are and will be shipping mining hardware. Building rapport with every single member, be it a hero or a legendary - I don't see any reason for that.
1.5 years on the market yet only noobs with no history have purchased from you? Have you considered trying to make your company NOT look like a scam? That might help sales. We are sending the miners for dogie according to availability and order schedule. We deem orders as the most important in our business. However, dogie is indeed a famous and reputable member, that is performing an important task: puts together an objective point of view on the equipment on the market. So you didn't think it might be "most important for business" to give dogie your super advanced/technologically superior hardware? What makes you think giving him your unimpressive/rebranded hardware is good for business? Regarding the posted screenshot, I will not be able to explain at this time why the values do not coincide, it may be the drivers, the board, cgminer... I will be asking our programmers. However, may I point out that no customers had any complaints to this day. Noone is planning to delete the screenshot, it shows what we have achieved.
Strange that you wont take Mr. Teals 100 btc bet. That's 100 btc for free and all you have to do is ship a single zues board. I've given you a negative trust rating until you can prove this isn't an elaborate scam.

Somebody go post on his twitter the link and in all caps "SO HOMERO, IT'S 5% NOW HUH?"
Seriously, you could try to do some math, it's good for your brain. Bitcoin hashrate: 299,090,788 GH/s Cumulative hashrate on Paycoin 20-30 minutes after launch: ~2.35 Petahash on just the main pool, not counting solo miners and other pools 2.35/(29.9-2.35) = 8.52% minimum hashrate that switched over, not counting solo miners and other pools Basic math. Do it right. That's not how math works..

Invalid Premise #1 is "full BTC refund means the EXACT NUMBER of BTC paid NO MATTER WHAT"
Ok, at exactly what BTC price was the full BTC refund clause valid? You can show that, can't you? Or is the price restriction just a figment of your sick imagination? According to icebreakers totally sound logic, the deal was invalid the second it was made. There has never been a day in bitcoin history where the price remained stable.

Icebreaker is it true you were hashfast_CL?
complicit in the fraud. Not only that but I'd argue that HF_CL is solely responsible for HF's downfall. HF could have easily survived the onslaught of refunds if they just sold more chips/boards. But that didn't happen because HF_CL successfully turned the entire community against HF with his/her icebreaker-like bickering.

Good job, trolls.
In this and next month, we are busying deliver the preorders. Avalon4 moudle will continually have small upgrade in early 2015, 0.3w/GHs on the wall and 0.3$/GHs with margin is a short-term goal. So if your target is $0.3/gh at 0.3 w/gh, why are you charging $0.7/gh for 0.7w/gh? Seems this isn't really an attempt to sell to home miners, but an attempt to rip off a few. He said in Q1 2015, new chips. And its $0.5/gh. It says Avalon4 which is current gen. And I'm seeing 1.84 btc per unit after including shipping.

In order to avoid and resolve such questions, we send our equipment to dogie. Recently we have shipped him an Apollo (you can read his review and specs here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881295). Next, we will send an Ares. And after the Ares the Zeus is planned to be sent. Generally, dogie's reviews are very thorough, so I hope you will be able to find answers to all your questions there. Why is it that you claim to have this super advanced/improved hardware that blows away the competition, yet you only want dogie to review your unimpressive hardware? Here's what we want to see: - HF boards that achieve 900 GH/s per chip at 0.65 w/gh. Here's what nobody cares about: - HF board which gets 550 gh/s per chip at 1 w/gh - Scrypt miner which you've bought from alcheminer and added your own logo

They can still come out on top if they manage to refund everyone. If that happens will the people who threatened him and called a scammer apologize? Closing down the business doesn't make him a thief.
People have already made this point, but how do Facebook threats shut down mining ASICs? Read carefully... he said in spite of substantial losses, he's going to TRY to refund what he can. The cake is a lie. Hello Mr ThePhwner. We know where you and your family live. We know where your offices are and we know who works for you. I am sure you would consider 20% of your earnings a small price to pay to make sure nothing happened to any of those people or properties. As this is the internet, this email was sent via Tor and the money is to be paid to a bitcoin address which will then go through SEVERAL mixers. You won't be able to trace us. Sleep well. See, its quite simple. Bullshit. If that actually worked then people would just go through the yellowpages and blackmail every company listed.

Sadly, this doesn't matter anymore. When BitFury releases it's IPO price in the next 6months after their upcoming gen release, it will and should absolutely shatter the AM share price (creating a similar effect to what's in play RE: IBM vs. AMD $ share price). There will be a David vs. Goliath scenario in these chip mfg sectors - just...please don't envision your sight of David's size if you've never had to really compete with Goliath on the open market...the over-estimation of the equity's future value without a key growth plan would make you vomit make you vomit if you could see the writing now on the wall with BitFury press + the recent Microsoft announcement...
This is a prime scenario that explains where a company could completely burn it's goodwill ledger. One poor end user, home-based product generation has eliminated a whole sector's worth of market-reciprocal investors. This type of equity-present-value loss could only really be recovered at this granite-shill inflated price right now. Looks like a few board members see the cancer in their portfolios at a stage 3, when they expected notification at the onset of stage 1.
Literally terrifying to think about.
Bitfury hopes to achieve 0.2 j/gh with their next gen. AM achieved 0.2 j/gh.
