21  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: February 21, 2019, 10:58:27 PM
Because each and every coin into existence comes with a product and unique value.
This couldn't be further from the truth. Almost every new coin or token that is being launched doesn't have a working product. Hell, most of them don't even have a working team, working code, a whitepaper, a github, or a wallet. 99.99% have absolutely no value whatsoever, let alone a unique value, and certainly no real world use.

Almost every coin created these days is designed for one thing and one thing only - to make its creators some easy money. They are relying on newbies and the gullible to throw money at their project so they can make a quick buck and disappear.

I agree with the fact that this is the truth with many projects that don't have, and probably will never have, a working product and a real use case. But I don't agree that we can apply this reasoning to all the altcoins in the market; I think there are some interesting projects who can potentially give nice returns to investors when the market will start a new cycle.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is the beginning of the 2019 altcoin'll be back? on: February 21, 2019, 10:51:36 PM
Right now the prices of all altcoin in very drastic, especially ETH, whether in 2019 it'll be back, or just keep it stable?
Give me your opinion.

The crypto market is still little and everything is correlated to Bitcoin. In my opinion, if Bitcoin doesn't start a new bullish cycle, the same will be for all the other altcoins...
23  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: ICO. Si fanno davvero i soldi? on: February 21, 2019, 10:48:56 PM
Mi unisco a quanto ti han già risposto sopra.

24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: February 21, 2019, 10:43:59 PM
I personally didn't lose confidence as an investor in general, but especially toward many altcoins. I don't know if many of them will have a future and how many altcoins will still be in the market in a two years time from now...
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think of this bitcoin halving chart? on: February 21, 2019, 10:40:15 PM
This chart is designed by one Twitter user. this chart shows how the halving of bitcoin has an impact on the price of bitcoin.
This graph has presented the relation between bitcoin history price and the remaining time until the next bitcoin halve. The change of color can reinforce the show of this relational change.
The more length of the remaining time, the more intense red color moving,  the less short of the remaining time, the more intense blue color moving. From the current tendency, the color starts to go out of the yellow and ready to go to the light green, does this mean the price of bitcoin will go down again?

In my opinion, we will see a positive effect also in the next halving of 2020, but I don't think the effect will be immediate, but probably the market will take some months to show a positive move on prices.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: February 21, 2019, 10:30:28 PM
Today Want to  Ask , did Satoshi Created bitcoin to solve poverty  issues or he created this bitcoin so solve financial transaction problems !!
Is crypto  a get rich quick scheme as people are putting their  mindset into  it  ?

After more than a year of bearish market, not at all, I would say. But I think in a long-term vision, the ones who believed will get rewarded  Wink
27  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: February 21, 2019, 10:28:31 PM
for now, be careful and careful to choose the ICO project to be used as an investment place, because most ICOs are now deceptive. so don't ever choose a strange project

Yes, ICOs do not have a good reputation at the moment, but there are still some interesting projects that I think will give a lot of satisfaction in the future. The point is too chose wisely which projects are worth investing.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question to all ICO investors. on: February 20, 2019, 10:42:04 PM
What are the biggest sources, channels (YouTube channels/influencers, Twitter accounts/influencers etc, ICO rating websites) online that you use to find out in which ICO to invest in?

Myself. The influencers, ICO rating website, twitter... are just rubbish. You can see what happened during 2018 to the ICOs recommended by the so-called influencers...

Read carefully the whitepaper, analyze the project, the team, their LinkedIn profiles... and make your own decision.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: February 20, 2019, 10:38:23 PM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

Now at this time, with this market, I would invest 90% in Bitcoin and 10% in Ether. I think it is a time when it is better to make investments in the most important cryptos that can give greater security.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt is a new hope? on: February 19, 2019, 09:32:16 PM
Hey guys, since bitcoin ETF is not still approved by SEC, Bakkt is the closest big event for crypto community. Do you think crypto market will pump?

I don't think that the price will pump immediately when Bakkt starts Bitcoin trading, but I'm sure it is something great for Bitcoin in the medium/long run. Institutional money will flow in much more easily thanks to the Bakkt platform.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2019, 09:30:08 PM
I doubt it is "secretly". I am sure big companies definitely have a lot of bitcoins and even hire people to trade bitcoins for them as well and do big OTC moves so it wouldn't affect the price like it would on an exchange and all that but I doubt they hide it. I mean think about it how many of us really know which stocks which companies bought or sold in the past month ?

Wall street constantly buys and sells stocks and we do not follow them that carefully unless we are really into it and check their moves. Same applies to crypto, its not something they need to declare all the time and even if declared on some annual shareholder meeting or something the reach is small and minimum and unless shared with public its not something we really go and check ourselves. Hence I think institutions do hold bitcoins but not secretly.

I think the same. I think institutions are buying bitcoin since the low price... and probably most of the trading happens Over The Counter, so that in this way the market price is not affected.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody paid $310,000 in transaction fee to send 0.1eth on: February 19, 2019, 09:20:24 PM
2100  Ether thats a huge amount, that could have been vitalik that gave that tip to the miners....

if not it could be used for a massive anti ethereum propaganda campaign soon

Yeah, this is an enormous amount of money for just one transaction. I think probably it was a mistake made by someone non-expert... but what a kind of mistake!!!
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: February 17, 2019, 09:57:36 PM
Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.

For sure holding alts is riskier than holding bitcoin (or ether maybe). Although I think if you chose the right project, it can give you very nice returns when the market will start to recover.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: February 17, 2019, 09:55:37 PM
According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?

I've heard about this theory, but I really don't think it can be true. I mean, Bitcoin is a truly decentralized currency (unlike some other altcoins...). Could governments or the financial system create something which they cannot control? Doesn't make sense.
35  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Non mi fido dell'Italia. Quale banca estera scegliere? on: February 17, 2019, 09:52:57 PM

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2019, 09:47:15 PM
I agree with your submission about the volatility of Cryptocurrency being the main obstacle to it's wider adoption.
But we need to understand that the structure of Cryptocurrency is decentralized and that could be the reason the volatility.
To solve the issue of volatility, then there is the need to change the structure from decentralized to centralized which in itself is not feasible.

I don't think that changing the structure from decentralized to centralized can solve the volatility issues... and by the way, Bitcoin, for example, is born decentralized and cannot turn to a centralized system.

In my opinion, volatility will decrease while the crypto market becomes more mature and bigger. We are still talking of a very young market.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep the BitCoins Safe? on: February 16, 2019, 07:26:56 PM
Hack and Hacks, every day I am waking up to the news of crypto exchanges getting hacked, recently a crypto exchanges founder died and he seem to have a hold of $190 million worth of BitCoins with him.
I have taken a pledge of never using a custodial exchanges, even if it is Binance, and not matter how much CZ says that he will keep the cryptos SAFU, I am not doing the mistake of keeping my money at stake.

I did a detailed study of what exchanges to use and what wallets to use -

  • Exchanges - Instant exchanges only, Changelly, ChangeNow, CoinSwitch etc.
  • Wallets - Divided into two parts - Ledger NANO S for long term investment, and keeping the funds safe, MultiCurrency wallet for trading, ex - Gaurda Wallet, Exodus Wallet

Let me know what you guys think.

I think the best way it is just to keep your funds on a hardware wallet like the ledger nano s (or also others). All other methods are not even remotely comparable in terms of security.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead coins... on: February 16, 2019, 07:17:09 PM
What makes a coin dead? I would say when it has no active nodes, no trading volume and no development, in that order. Anyone have a different definition?
My second question, why does CMC still list these coins!?!?!?

I believe that when a coin has no more trading volumes and no more development (no more updates, news on social channels...), a coin can actually be considered dead.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: February 16, 2019, 07:14:37 PM
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,
1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?

It depends on which project we are talking about, because I have the fear that many altcoins will die due to this bearish market. I believe however that the good projects that will survive will give very nice profits and reach neu ATH when the market will start to recover again. The main point is to understand which projects will have a future and which ones not.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: February 16, 2019, 07:10:06 PM
I believe that Bitcoin will make a profit in 2019. Because Bitcoin prices are increasing day by day, new investors are interested in Bitcoin day after day. So, I believe that Bitcoin will bring profit in 2019

Market will rise and be strong as 2017 . Tt is only the time factor where the market is this low but once we have the bull run people will realize that it was much better they would have bought more at 3500$ as by then it would have risen by multiple times in short time only.

I agree. It is just a matter of time until the market will start to recover again and we will experience another bull run  Wink
