Did anyone make any comparisons between the services of Bitcoin Blender and Chipmixer? Which are the pros and contras of each one versus the other one?
|
|
|
Which is the daily volume of BTC which ChipMixer is mixing? That's an interesting service indeed.

What sets the price? How do we determine the price?
There this little known principle that doesn't seem to be taught any longer. It's called Supply and Demand. That is how Bitcoin price, and the price of everything else for that matter, is set in this place I like to call the real world. LoL, and the funny thing is that no matter how many times you'd repeat this statements, those who didn't get it until now are very likely not to get it even later, ever. There are basic things which are beyond the understanding of most of the people.

If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now. Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
One has always to contextualize situations, if you want to understand reality. In a way it is true that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are entering a bubble state. But it is even more true that mainstream finance is now in the state of a MUCH DEEPER BUBBLE, so Bitcoin & C. is still a safer haven compared with FIAT money these days.

This is also a consequence of the fact that people don't trust the centralized finance any more, especially after the 2008 mega-scam which has ruined thousands of people. Bitcoins is thus seen as an island of hope.

Is it really possible ? I heard a youtuber making video on it by using bitmex.... is it really a good option to trade on bitmex using 100x leverage? Seeing the risk/reward ratio it looks tempting but the risk looks far more haunting
I would not really try anything leveraged in cryptos. This market is already so volatile that to increase volatility by the way of leverage (especially a 100X leverage) is a guaranteed road to disaster.

if Satoshi wanted to write a book and stay anonymous he wouldn't do it in a way to raise any suspicions about his identity. he would stay anonymous easily and publish his book(s) and for all we know we already have books written by him and we don't know it yet.
if Satoshi wanted to write a book and reveal his identity he would simply include a signature in the book revealing his identity in a way that is easy to verify by everyone and is undeniable.
when we see someone who is shady and evasive about it and has no proof, it means have another scammer like Craig Wrigt at our hands.
Yep. I could even imagine Bloomberg or some other US based Bankers or whatever training an actor to play the role of Satoshi for real - with the help of the mainstream media they could easily brainwash most of the poplutation, and they they could use Satoshi to manipulate cryptos as they please.

These centralizex exchanges are all boasting 100% security until they eventually get hacked. And then the close, they declare bancrupts and you lose everything. You can dare leaving yuor fund for a while there if you have no alternative, but the more you let them there, the more you are risking....

There have been sone decentralised solutions attempted, one was a project called MyWill, I don't k now how it ended. You may look for that.

Why are people still posting reports in this thread? I thought the bounty campaigns have terminated long ago.

I have been following this project recently. I think he has a very clear and successful future. And a huge plus of this project, the official site of the platform is very clearly designed, even a person without knowledge of English and even a far crypto world will understand. Invest in the project, and if they all turn out it can be very good to earn.
If they'd be honest, then you would be right. Buy once you prove to be a cheater, a cheater you remain. And who would trust a cheater long term? If they won't fulfill their obligations with the people who have worked for them, no future for them.

I have actually sold one Bitcoin in December, so that now I have something to eat for this entire year. But if I knew for sure what would happen, I'd have sold them all and rebuy them now. Usual thinking in hindsight. However it is an interesting thread to monitor people's reaction to these swings of the market. December is also the moment I have discovered this forum.

When is it expected that this platform would get some traction also outside the world of crypto?

XVG marketing is ridiculous. All other shit coins are rising only XVG is red for days. It's really frustrating!
Really the price for many coins departed recently to heaven. I do not know precisely what influences it, but I think in very fast time and the coin will depart very highly. In any case very much I hope for it. I think many will agree with it. I thought Verge had already gone to the moon, I mean, almost one billion $, how much higher could it go?

Will the Bounty OP promises be honored? Will people really receive the $-per-post listed for the sig campaign? How will the BBB (Bounties Buy Back) model applied?
|
|
|
The OP is outiling the differences of VoteCoin towards Zcash - but what's about the differences towards other coins of the family like ZEN, ZERO, HUSH, etc?

Good day guys! Please, vote for DeepOnion to be listed on FatBTC if you haven't already done it! We're remaining back.
Already done it, hopefully others also will be voting. The community is so big so it shouldn't be a problem if people just sacrificed 5 seconds of there valuable time. I'm also done casting my vote. Yeah, it wouldn't be a problem if all 11000 plus members of our community will do their part, it will be huge for sure. Hopefully, they won't ignore and forget this one. Really about time to get on more exchanges - the volume has dropped lately, time to find new buyers.

To predict the price of a coin is easy: you just need to be a whale. People with huuuuge amounts of coins have in fact the power to manipulate prices to the point that they can very well foresee the price of a coin: it is them to determine it. The other way to predict the price of a coin is to try to read the mind of the whales.
