1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: May 03, 2018, 09:51:58 PM
It seems that you believe that investing is a kind of lottery. Of course, if you're very lucky you can guess a coin with 10.000% profit in a year, but you can't count on this. You need to have a strategy.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: April 24, 2018, 03:57:52 PM
We are always late on something. But if we waste time regretting the lost opportunities, we also lose what we could gather now.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: April 09, 2018, 09:45:06 PM
You MUST be afraid of hackers, if you want to save your money.
This doesn't mean that you have to become obsessed; just be afraid enough to take tne necessary measures of safety.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: April 09, 2018, 09:43:13 PM
They can be profitable, but you can't know it in advance; so you need to participate in a lot of airdrops, hoping to catch the winning one.
It's lottery, not investing.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: April 05, 2018, 05:25:43 PM
Forex is a market where institutional investors move, is very stable and earns on micro-movements. Crypto allows much greater profits, if you know how to work, but obviously also big losses.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An 11 year old kid just launched his ICO on: March 30, 2018, 07:16:07 AM
Eh, these kids are terrible, they know technology better than adulites and they can take advantage of opportunities. Let's learn from them!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: March 25, 2018, 08:58:25 AM
We are always late on something, you can not attend all the parties. But we can check which parties are in progress now, and find the one that is worth participating in.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: March 25, 2018, 08:56:54 AM
You have to be both: if you are not strategic, you do not have a vision and your action does not lead anywhere.
And if you're not smart ... well, you can be sure that things will go wrong Smiley
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: March 22, 2018, 11:15:12 AM
Volatility is what makes the bitocin interesting, and that allows experienced traders to make big profits.
Obviously, if you are not able to handle it you get only big losses.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: March 22, 2018, 11:13:16 AM
It's true. We continue to regret something of the past or to make dreams about the future, without understanding that the only time when things can be done is the present.

We are always late for  everything we could have done yesterday, but we didn't.
There are a lot of parties to go, a lot of trains to take, and sometimes we miss the winning ones.
But to regret is completely useless.
Moreover, if we lose our energy with regret, we will lose the parties that we could attend now.
So, if in the next months you don't want to ask again "Am I late?", stop whining and act now!

11  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: March 17, 2018, 06:55:29 PM
I do not think banks can be eliminated, they are too powerful and people are used to work with them.
But they will surely have to update themselves, if they want to survive.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: March 17, 2018, 06:53:39 PM
Well, they're just marketing promotional tools, so you can not expect too much.
On the other hand, it takes little time to get in, and sometimes you can have pleasant surprises.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: March 15, 2018, 04:41:17 PM
In spite all its apparent trouble, bitcoin and cryptomarket are growing more and more.
I don't know if this will make banks disappear (I'd like it very much...) but for sure they will lose part of their power and they will need to change theri profile, to survive
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: March 06, 2018, 11:07:36 PM
It depends what your opinion about future is: to sell something what it's going down usually it's not a good idea (I'd rather buy...).
But of course, if you think that it's going to die, it's better to sell and  forget about it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 06, 2018, 11:04:46 PM
Facebook is a totalitarian plattform, and you have nobody to discuss with.
So, it's true that they have banned only sponsored ads about ICO, if someone report you to a moderator, they'll block your account, and ot have it back is really difficult.
So, take care.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How careful are you? on: March 06, 2018, 11:01:10 PM
Well, I'm very paranoid, but I don't respect ALL of these indications.
Actually, some of them seem a little exagerated to me: if you have a good general protection, usually it's not necessary to change your password too often, or to have different password for any service you use.
But I admit that it would be a good idea.
I'll think about what to implement.

Do you...

1. Keep a cold storage for your hodl coins.
2. Use a ledger.
3. Keep a paper copy of your priv-keys
4. Create your transactions off-line and then launch them on-line.
5. Have different passwords for ALL the services you use.
6. Change your password often

How many points do you "score" out of these typical security advices?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: etherwallet on: March 04, 2018, 11:09:21 AM
Myetherwallet is very safe, but - as you know - it doesn't offer any protection.
So, there are a lot of security measures that you can take, and metamask is one of them.
It works very fine, and the protection is full.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Will Kill Cash ? Is this True on: March 04, 2018, 11:05:52 AM
The present high volatility has nothing to do with bitcoin itself.
Actually, in some country that suffered hyperinflation, the devaluation was much bigger, and we talk about "real" money.

In fact, with bitcoin may be you lose, but may be you are lucky and the next morning it will have a +20% overnight!
You can bet that with fiat money this will never happen!

Btw, in the future may be bitcoin will become more stable, but even in this case it will be very difficult to get completely rid of paper money.
But you know, everything is possible, so may be in short time all of us will have a QRcode tattooed somewhere, or just a chip underskin...
Scaring, but very possible.

I personally do not believe the cash will be replaced by whatever the crypto, although I hope to be mistaken.
The crypto are more to be a value reserve, as are gold or stock markets.
Why do you think so? Cryptocurrency has all the preconditions to replace fiat money.

Really? Would you like to receive your salary in BTC and find the next morning it just suffered a devaluation  of 20% overnight?

Whether we like it or not, fiat will keep playing a major role in our lives due to it's stability.

Cryptos are becoming more and more attractive has commodities to invest in instead of leaving the money in the bank.

But I don't see how I can pay my groceries with crypto unstable has it is.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: March 01, 2018, 11:32:16 AM
The only healthy way to deal with losses is to accept them (btw, if you don't accept them, it doesn't change anything...), learn what you can learn, and move on to the next trade. That's all.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: March 01, 2018, 11:30:20 AM
I don't give my personal data to unknown entity: most of ICO don't offer any any guarantee of seriousness: how do I know that they won't sell my data on the black market?
Do you have an idea about what a bad guy can do with your personal data AND a scan of your passport?
