As a retail investor we need to merge both worlds for this asset class to see organic growth. With their previous experience in Bitcoin exchanges this gives an investor like me confidence that their skillsets are developed.

Security seems to be a hot subject currently with many successful exchanges experiencing hacks. This makes retail investors nervous and I am happy blockchain.io are addressing this with a combination of cold storage with multisignatures and private keys over several vaults. These advanced security measures will certainly give institutions confidence to trade and hold large sums of assets. Also having a borrowing system is also important for traders of all natures. I like the fact they will be vetting cryptocurrencies before listing them. This is something necessary in the space with more ICOs arriving everyday. We need a trusted body such as blockchain.io to regulate the space which in turn will attract more traders to their exchange. I am excited to see how this goes
