Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with network connection instead of CPU

First thought is that the rewards would be insanely low for any average "network miner", considering people could just use gigabit or 10gbps servers. Also the availability of "transactions to mine" would be very low since the available bandwidth would be so high... Reminds me of how Storj, Burst and other "hard drive mining" coins declined so quickly..
Well it all depends, what we agree on is the “average”. In a year or two the average connection will be on fiber will here in Europe and gigabit pipes will be the Average. The Bahnhof guys in Sweden are already offering 10Gbits for about €35/month but yes, it is in Sweden and their “average” might be a bit higher then most 🙂 Anyhow the plan is that all nodes that support the network will be incentivised by revenue and not only the fastest nodes. In places (AS networks) where there are many high speed nodes it will be harder for a low speed node to make a difference especially if we are talking ADSL as the stability is so low but an ADSL “network minter” could still make a nice piece of the pie if that node is placed in an area where there are not that many nodes. Then there is also a surge pricing so that low end Nodes at times of high traffic gets an higher minting speed.

We at Quantum1Net has developed a system in which mining or rather minting is done on a Proof-of-Transaction basis compared to the regular Proof-of-Work or Proof-of-Stake. What it means is that Master nodes is free to set up and that anyone with a computer and a network connection can do so. Instead of processor power, coins are rewarded based on the traffic that is routed through your node. All current material on the subject is gathered in our Github; https://github.com/quantum1net/DocumentsWhat dou you think about the concept about Proof-of-Transaction compared to Proof-of-Work?

First was the private silver token sale, and this is the silver token sale. Golden token sale, that i presume is the main sale, will be in July, so we will see if the project will success more or less, by the moment they are working hard in the project that just begins
Oh! they are taking 4 months for crowd sale and I never checked the website till now when they are going to start their crowdsale. Are you sure it will be in July? Let me look at their website how long they are going to take to conduct the ICO. More or less correct, this initial Silver Token sale is a way for us to bring i the necessary capital to establish the infrastructure to be able to provide the Gold Coin in a few months time You who supported us in this Silver sale will receive preferential access to our limited Gold Coin sale as well as a bonus upon conversion.

Does anybody know how is going the token sale?
The token sale is going very good. We have good attention from Institutional investors and other similar entities. These types who don't bother with cryptos or ETH transfers and wallets, and uses more traditional means such as bank wires. These won't show up in the smart contract until it is finalized and we are currently working on a counter that accounts for both our public sale and private investors. I saw you mention that in your Telegram, it gives me absolute confidence that this will succeed. Very bullish project this. Glad to hear that. David Garrity, Senior Advisor at Quantum1Net will be interviewed on the Bloomberg radio at 11:45am ET tomorrow. Make sure to tune in! https://www.bloombergradio.com what time is ET? Eastern American time, Basically the time in New York!

General news about quantum computers: - Unique material found for quantum computer. Scientists from Jena, Karlsruhe and Moscow have taken an important step on the way to becoming a quantum computer: They found the world's first metamaterial whose light transmission at -273 °C can be precisely controlled.
- IBM recently launched an online access to a superconductor-based quantum computer with 20 qubits.
Link for the Web Services from IBM.
But this is just a discussion thread, I just really hope there will be a cooperation with IBM, but recently I'm not sure about what's ongoing, would be great if a Team Member would make a statement about this. We have no official statements about collaborations with IBM. We do have very interesting partnerships that is to be announced later as we are currently working under a NDA with those organisations. when will you app. Announce new partners? We can not say when that is to be announced - We want to do it as soon as possible of course , as we are proud of these partnerships and collaborations. But as we are currently working under a NDA, it has to be at a later stage.
