201  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchange market data manipulation bringing the whole crypto market down? on: September 09, 2018, 09:12:00 PM
Big investors have always manipulated the market with more or less legitimate means, spreading rumors, or suddenly making big purchases or big sales.
In the world of crytpo, where everything is firmly in the hands of the whales, it is even more possible.
But to think that someone can influence the data of ALL the exchange ... well, it seems to me frankly science fiction.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: China blocking 120+ offshore cryptocurrency exchanges as "crackdown" escalates on: September 09, 2018, 09:06:08 PM
The behavior of large institutions towards cryptomonete is ambiguous.
After the great proclamations of the beginning of the year and the relative declarations of war it seems almost that the argument no longer interests anyone, except for a few specialists.
I would like to know if they are really trying to stifle the phenomenon of crypto, as China in this case,  or they are preparing a move to deceive the public by proposing - every superpower, of course - some "bitcoin of the government".
It would be the death of Satoshi's ideal, of course.
But I expect - soon - the birth of Facebookcoin, Googlecoin, Amazoncoin, ... in that case for the crypto - the real ones - it will be really over.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela In Chaos - Massive 95% Devaluation -new Bolivar pegged to state crypto on: September 09, 2018, 08:56:37 PM
A centralized cryptocurrency under government control is a contradiction in terms, so it doesn't make any sense.
Simply, Maduro is trying to save the savable, still deluding the population a little with an unrealistic proposal while preparing the escape plans.
Too bad, Venezuela is a magnificent country and does not deserve the suffering it is going through due to incompetent and corrupt politicians.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: September 09, 2018, 08:51:53 PM
Maybe yes. But there are more and more rumors of a total collapse, which for the altcoins seems almost certain (I do not think that the token based on ETH can be resumed)
Then, everything is possible. As the Latins said, "spes ultima dea"
205  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 09, 2018, 08:48:59 PM
It makes no sense to use mobile phones for mining: it would mean using too many resources, the battery would be reduced to zero too soon, and the mobile hardware would probably be destroyed.
Forget it!
206  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: September 09, 2018, 08:21:02 PM
Well, every fall by definition stops at zero, so at least that limit exists.
Then of course, from here to zero there is still a long way, and probably still a lot of speculation.
However, the bitcoin was given for dead at least a dozen times, so the statistic says it will come back up.
Who knows?
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: September 09, 2018, 08:16:09 PM
There is always someone shouting "crisis", while others shout "bubble".
The true is that bitcoin - and consequently the whole crypto market - is extremely volatile, extremely unstable, and as I allow large profits it can produce large losses. That's all.
208  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: WARNING ethereum on: September 09, 2018, 08:10:06 PM

209  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bubble on: September 02, 2018, 05:15:06 PM
Like all new things, which have the power to revolutionize society, the resistance they encounter is very strong, especially as bitcoin hits enormous interests.
But, bubble or no bubble, in the end the cryptocoins will assert themselves.
We'll see which one will win.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: September 02, 2018, 05:13:01 PM
It's always frightening for me the level of economic interest: there's always someone who proposes to print more money, and someone who wants to create a bitcoin bank.
To both I suggest to devote themself to agriculture ...

In fact it is rather ridiculous.
On the other hand, the "bank" has been for centuries the place where the money was kept, so it is quite normal that people who are not sufficiently informed think that it might be good to make a bank for bitcoins.
Sooner or later they will understand that it can not be done.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: September 02, 2018, 05:10:59 PM
Taxes are definitely a duty, and they are the way to operate the company.
But when politicians are corrupt and taxes become simply a state robbery, then trying to pay as little as possible is not dishonesty but simple self-defense.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Be greedy when others are fearful... on: September 02, 2018, 05:06:12 PM
Eh, if these strategies worked we would all be millionaires ...
We forget that for other people we are the "others", and so - if they look at us as we look at them - what is created is only confusion.
Better to use smarter strategies.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of Money on: September 02, 2018, 05:03:36 PM
Everything in the universe changes, but this does not necessarily mean that it "evolves": as Tony Robbins says, change is certain, progress no.
So, we'll see if this change really will bring benefits or it will be a further tool of control by political power.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: what your opinion about this? on: September 02, 2018, 04:59:01 PM
We always look for strange correlations, but the reality is that the crypto move in an apparently random way (or, better, depending on the various speculations), so it is difficult to find some logic and - consequently - make predictions.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: September 02, 2018, 04:55:07 PM
Not putting all the eggs in one basket is certainly a recommended strategy, especially if you have sufficient capital available.
However, if it is true that the risk is reduced, it is also true that the possibility of gains decreases.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Economy on: September 02, 2018, 04:50:55 PM
Bitcoin can help poor economies, if the population somehow manages to earn "new" money, perhaps with the bounties.
But this is really small change, the figures that move are too small to influence the budget of a nation in any way.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: September 02, 2018, 04:47:22 PM
Obviously, the crypto will not solve any socio-economic problem: the crypto - like any other currency - are not a value in themselves, but are only a measure of value.
If you are poor in dollars, you will remain poor in bitcoin, you can be sure of it.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: September 02, 2018, 04:44:51 PM
As things are going, especially in the last period, there is no signal that can confirm that the crypto can replace the fiat, at least for a long time.
Then, everything is possible: we will see.
For the moment, it is something reserved for a micro elite.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting With Nothing in Bitcoin on: September 02, 2018, 04:42:51 PM
You never really start from scratch, because you always have to "invest" something, in the hope of making a profit.
If we have no money, we can invest time, capacity, services, ... if we accept this principle, then we can start and earn.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic Attitude on: August 26, 2018, 10:12:53 AM
It is a special period, after the euphoria of last year a moment of stagnation was practically inevitable.
Now we can only hope that everything will start to grow again.
