We had to catch up on a lot of volume, we're pretty quick again.
If it comes in late at night you might have to wait until morning.
Our process is mostly automatic but we approve all the transfers.
Today Dwolla was accepted within 15 min on average.

To be objective the biggest difference might be their withdraw limit.

Mellop,

We've figured out what happened.
If you like we can speak through email or give you a call.
If you prefer to do the whole thing publicly we can discuss it in this thread.

We're willing to walk through the logs with you and go over the transaction.

We respect your privacy and won't post logs here without your permission.

Regards,
Jered

We're pulling up your user account right now and all the relative data.
We'll get back to you in a few minutes.

4  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you going to trade hill instead of mtgox? on: June 10, 2011, 07:31:30 PM
Well, I just started with this bitcoin stuff, and somehow tradehill seemed much better for me.

I have no complains. Sold a btc for 32U$S, they took their fee (quite low), and I received 31.82U$S.

They have the instant-buy and instant-sell thing which is great, also.

So, TradeHill for me.
mtgox is .65%
isnt tradehill .75%?

Standard is actually .6% and like he mentioned the referral code brings it down.
If the FAQ is still outdated we'll change it.
Lots of emails  and stuff to do.
Big changes coming soon.

MtGox offers SEPA withdrawals, trade hill doesn't, so I have to use MtGox.  Wink

Give it a few days  Wink

Hmm. Referral commissions are paid in USD rather than BTC! Isn't it what may be called a sneaky business practice?
Come on guys, make it right, pay out in BTC. It's a Bitcoin exchange or what?
Not only this is unfair to your partners but also not very good for BTC economy. (as BTC use is not encouraged in this case)

It was easier to code that way. We're going to implement it to payout in BTC.
If you want BTC you can just hit instant buy and convert you BTC over until that feature is implemented.

Honestly we're receiving so much volume we haven't been able to communicate like we want to.

When we've got some time (hopefully in a day or  two) we can put out a lot more information and answer every question and participate in the forums more.

Honestly I personally was looking most forward to that point since I've been with this for so long but transactions are taking priority like I believe they should.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for TradeHill on: June 10, 2011, 01:28:13 AM
I like TradeHill but I think it could be a lot better than it is right now.
(for those who are from planet Mars, clic here to join TradeHill with a permanent discount)

1) Allow the users to choose in which currency they want their commission (and default it to Bitcoin!)

2) Allow user to sell/buy/instant sell/instant buy based on a number of dollars, not only bitcoin. Currently, if you want to empty your account to buy bitcoins, you have to do the math yourself

3) By the way, allow a quick function : sell everything or buy as much as I can in the instant buy/sell. That would be really helpful.

Thanks and Love :-)

Thanks for the awesome feed back Ploum.

1) It's on the list, probably just switch it to btc to keep it simple but of course you can always get your USD and instant buy. Naturally the deflation will lower the amount you buy if you don't have a bot (API coming soon).

2) High priority, coming really soon. Most common request and really needed.

3) We will increase the cap over time. We are allowing market volume to increase first but that's the idea.

We've had a lot of great feedback and really welcome it.
We're still in the process of getting up so when things normalize you'll start to see other cool features.

Dwolla is working fine on www.tradehill.com

Lots of volume already.
If we take a bit to get back to you it's due to high volume.
We will get back to you ASAP.

Why can't i withdraw via paypal? It was there in the morning. now it's gone Sad

Blame Paypal  Grin We want to work with them. They don't want to work with us.

A little heads up. We're getting a ton of volume.
I don't mean that this is bad but there are 4 people working 18 hours a day to keep up with it.

Paypal froze my account (or just stopped working) so I paid out from my personal account.
They froze that (or it broke too).

We've gotten a ton of feed back and it's all been good so far.
We're huge supporters of Bitcoin and will probably be in 40 countries within a month.

To say this is happening fast is an understatement.

I'm offering to refund everyone who originally cashed out with Paypal by Dwolla.
Dwolla rocks, Paypal sucks... easy choice.

I'll kick in an extra 5% for the hassle.

If you prefer Amazon (and should) I'll cash you out with it as well.

This is only valid for those that already tried to cash out with paypal and it was blocked.
I took care of almost all of the debts before they cut me off. If you don't have a processing transaction with us labeled Paypal then it's too late for now sorry.

Additionally we're low on LR USD and I'd be happy to buy some with Dwolla.

If interested shoot me an email Info@tradehill.com

Thanks for the 1000 emails you've sent. We're making customer service a priority and are ramping up.
Things are only getting better.

Dwolla should be automated soon and Bitcoin transfers are now automated.

Feel free to email all you want and we'll go down the list and get back to them ASAP but we are receiving a lot at the moment.

Thanks for the support.
