We consider this 841 the best on the market due to 99% reliability, 2 year limited warranty (this is big for many people), lower DB rating, and actual performance being well above what is advertised. I think many people would be suprised if they actually threw a meter on one of the other brands miners what they are actually pulling with minimal TH increase.
I can only accept that argument if the price is right. If I can buy 3 S9s at the same price than 2 841s I can even throw away the S9s that fail and still make more money. We will make pricing right just so you accept this argument....... Keep in mind pricing will include shipping on all items and no duties and taxes for those in the US. That I will take into consideration too. “Duties” thanks.. I can’t preorder till I know a price though...that’s like, I don’t play futures man. |

Avalon 841 Batch will go on sale on our site here https://blokforge.com/product/avalon-841/ Thursday the 15th at 5pm MST. Working on getting price as aggressive as possible due to market conditions so pricing will go up Thursday. As i am sure everyone knows, this avalon is the best miner on the market with a warranty that cannot be touched. Why is Avalon the best? And why is Canaan the only manufacturer to never release prices? There has been a 13TH machine on the market for over a year now. I’m not trolling you BLOKFORGE, because I like you guys but Canaan cut their own throat as far as I’m concerned. |

I have yes, he didn’t offer any kind of solution, other than ask for a refund. Which in my eyes defeats the purpose. To me this is an investors game, and to let someone play with my money for 3 months, and get zero returns. That’s 0% helpful to me. But at least I was able to get my money back. And it went to bitmain... Again.... |

Seems like you are holding actions taken by Minerwarez against Caanan.
Doesn't seem entirely reasonable or fair to Caanan.
Maybe a little, and maybe you’re right. But to me, when they’ve got them listed as an “Authorized Distributor” then they should have some responsibility to keep their name clean. At the time they were the only Authorized distributor on Canaan’s website. Oh, that and they’ve got their 11TH miners listed at $500 more than Bitmains S9 which does 2.5 more TH a second. They never shipped, I ordered on October 2017. And they were supposed to ship December 5th. Minerwarez continued to promise the miners for several weeks after this. Then one day they decided not to ship them and backed out of their promise to ship them and then offered the 821s at zero discount and they wouldn’t ship until March. LOL!! Like bro, I’ve already received 2 shipments from bitmain since then. GFY! Asked for a refund, then called my credit card company and they said they “MinerWarez” were fraudulent. I won’t buy anything from Canaan EVER again.
Wow, thats very unexpected. And that is outright cheating.... U did get your money back right? What did canaan say about it. U did use an authorized canaan retailer right? I was able to get my money back by calling my credit card company. The purchase was made at MinerWarez who still touts being an authorized reseller of Canaan. Canaan forwarded my emails around, and Steven Mosher ended up saying did you ask for a refund. Yes I got my money back, but I still got Jipped because well as you can see the price of miners have all just went up and yet to come down. I’m still kicking myself for trying to try a Canaan unit. Sometimes coming here is like A.A I need support and horror stories of others who’ve been ripped off to make me feel better about it. |

I cant help but wonder what is ppl thinking for paying 3500$ for a 11th miner? thats a 14 month to ROI without any diff increase.
At 5 cents electricity, it is now 16-17 months, 480-510 days. At 10 cents electricity, it is 20 months, 600 days. That isnt possible. This is without difficulty increase and new stronger machines coming in.... Price should go down to $1100-1200usd? Lucky for you someone else beat you to checkout because ROI is now 848 days for an A821 at $3500 & 0.10/kWh. Which basically means never! All those ebayers are still paying $3500 for an S9 and $2000 for an A741 too.
These people do not know wat they are doing.... This is why I was livid when the 741’s went to $1400 and my order of 6 of them (at $795 each) never shipped. Because bitcoin price is volatile, and to just deem your 12 month old hardware 2x as expensive is BULLSHIT! Here’s the deal Canaan! When you say you base the price of your miners depending on bitcoins price you’re just lying If it doesn’t go down when the price of bitcoin falls. And when the price of bitcoin rises the difficulty rises with it so it’s harder to mine. So profit is less then too. For a company to be such opportunist like this is bullshit. I’m not telling anyone here anything they didn’t already know. Unless your buying 7.3 terrahash for 2k. Wat u mean by they never shipped? They just cancelled the order? I got a feeling they wont decrease price. They have buyer due sensationalized media news on how mining is so great. These new miners wont break even and will be feeling alot of pain... Just a heads up, I would highly recommend avoiding one of their official distributors, Minerwarez https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2277516.140They were offering Avalon 8 upgrades for more money, or a refund. Regardless of which options you took, no response has been given for quite some time now, and Canaan has yet to respond. I HIGHLY AGREE DO NOT BUY FROM MINERWAREZ!!! You might want to avoid anything from Canaan altogether! |

Same here.  Same here as well. Shame as it tarnishes how I feel about Canaan as well, since they are an official Distributor. Purchased a T9 from Bitmain when I sent the email for a refund from Minerwarez T9 already shipped and I haven't had a reply back yet. Totally Tarnishes how I feel about Canaan. When I ordered the miners, “or should I say when I let MinerWarez take $5000 Of USD to fuck around with for 3 months” they were the only North American distributor on the website. Meanwhile Bitmain shipped three batches of S9s and yes even BLOKFORGE, popped up on their site and HOLY SHIT they even had some for people in February. So Miner Warez is just a HUGE SCAM Shady ass POS company. And if Canaan still lists them as a distributor I won’t buy from Canaan until they ban those bastards. Not expecting that, so... well Bitmain you’ve proven to be a better company here. And that’s seriously sad I can honestly say that. |

Minerwarez is offering the 821 March preorder for $3,500 each, paid in BTC, and you have to order 10 minimum. Was this posted a few weeks ago? Anyone know if the price will be reset anytime? The other two+ distributors had lower pricing and better payment options for that batch? https://minerwarez.com/collections/new-equipment/products/new-avalon-821-march-shipping-moq-10-serversS9s are going $3,500 on ebay at the moment  I wish they would come hear and address some of the issues. Particularly disturbing is the claim that customer 741s ended up in their mine. I would like that to either be substantiated or refuted. Pretty serious claim IMO... I won’t refute it. The guy owns a huge mining farm. I mean, I’m not a psychic but, well... where the fuck did our miners go? Hmmm. MR. Miner warez should come here and refute it. Otherwise I will continue to spread the only logical explanation that he’s using the miners myself and a lot of others paid for and waited for 3 months. To not get. MinerWarez is a scam. Ask my credit card company.. they said it’s fraud! |

Hey, so I've left minerwarez a contact on their website asking them to come here to do some damage control. Who knows if they want to keep their virtual doors open and continue to do business in the space, but it never hurts to ask.
I would suggest each of you go to their website and fill out the contact form and ask them to come here to engage with their customers and make an attempt at damage control.

I know for a fact the guy that runs miner warez took the miners We purchased and added them to his farm in wenatchee washington. And then offered refunds because he don’t want to pay 1500 Dollars for a piece of shit 7.3 TH pile of crap from Canaan. |

Haha, that's cool, but making ASIC chips doesn't mean they're making miners. For example they could be making ASICs ships for Bitmain to build with. I really wonder who they are making these chips for, though. They will be a major player, whomever they are. Ebang announced their new miner would use Samsung 10nm chips, could be part of it. I feel like that's probably where the chips are going, it's still anybody's guess though. Could even be an algo other than SHA256 for all we know. I would say “But the article says to mine bitcoin” but it also says Ethereum which we know isnt true. Unless it is. Lol From the article. “Samsung has confirmed that it has begun manufacturing ASIC chips which are used to mine bitcoin, ether and other cryptocurrencies.” |

Its clear that the nominal BTC value changes - most of these Crypto payment providers even transform the Cryptos directly into the dollar amount at the time of payment.

I would be really careful at this stage, but I'm willing to give this a chance. I have proposed them with a thorough review here at the forum. Let's see if I'm able to buy a demo unit. I have proposed this idea to Drak and Adam on telegram as well I know this is supposed to be in group but or whatever, But, is there enough people that are willing to gamble to fill an order of 10 or 5 or whatever the he MOQ is? |
