381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 25, 2018, 05:48:05 AM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?
Yes, Ethereum is the next cryptocurrency after bitcoin both in popularity and its potential. The coin holds a market capital of $54 billion currently. Also with its smart ledger contracts, the coin has introduced one of the best commercial ideas in the market. This coin is also the best for posting new ICOs. The coin provides a secure cryptography which makes its transactions also much secure.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin on: March 24, 2018, 05:38:42 PM
Ethereum can be considered as the best altcoin at the moment. Ethereum's ledger contracts which can hold state and arbitary code is one of the best profitable ideas till now in the market. The coin also provides a good platform for posting new ICOs. Having a market capital of $54 billion, the coin has the potential to multiply its worth by three times in the coming future. Ethereum is also provided by a secure cryptography which makes transactions quite easy and securable as they are recorded in the coin's blockchain.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: March 24, 2018, 05:24:17 PM
what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. Angry Angry

No, it would be wrong to say that altcoins are dying at the moment. Consider Ethereum. The coin has shown a profit of 3700% in the past year and is still increasing its market capital. Moreover, it is a part of the cryptocurrencies to face ups and downs in the market. The volatility of the coin makes it a good but risky investment prospect. Hence, more coins which you can consider for putting yours investments into are Litecoin, Monero and Ripple.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: March 24, 2018, 05:07:09 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

Cryptocurrency has introduced a new revolutionary system in the market on the basis of world payment system. Hence, cryptocurrencies have the potential to be the future of economy. With transaction access in all parts of the world amd gaining acceptance in various world class markets, cryptocurrencies have made a place in the economy day by day. Also the decentralised nature of the coins hold importance as the coins are not bound to any rules and regulations. As the coins gain stability and are legalised in all the countries, the coins can explode and make people rich.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2018, 04:50:52 PM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

Yes, the best part about bitcoin which I like is its lightning network. The process by how transactions can be made anywhere in the world and that too due to blockchain of 10 minutes, the transactions are quite speedy. Also, the transaction fees is also quite low. Also the transactions are pseudoanonymous. The information of the sender and reciever is kept private. Hence, the crypto provides secure transactions.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 05:54:50 PM
So my question is.
Are you investing into Bitcoin purely as a investment?
Or are you investing because you believe in Bitcoin and the technology?
Back when Bitcoin started i feel people invested, because there believed in it, and wanted to see it change the world.
Now days i feel people only look at it as a way to make money, and don't really care about the future of it.
Whats peoples thoughts?

I am investing in bitcoin because of the potential it still has to uncover. The coin's market value can rise upto seven to eight present levels. The coin has introduced a new lightning network in the market. Also transactions made through bitcoin are very secure and pseudoanonymity is provided for the same. The information of the sender and reciever is kept private. Bitcoin transactions are subject to few regulatory oversights, which makes transactions fast and headache-free. Hence, the coin has ability to yield huge amounts of profit in the future.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: whats your Favorite coin ?! on: March 23, 2018, 05:39:26 PM
OYSTER PEARL
SONM
BLOCKPORT
ELIX
BTC

Apart from these coins, one can go for ethereum as well. Ethereum at present, is the second most popular cryptocurrency in the market and has shown a tendency for huge amount of profits in the past. Also its idea of ledger contracts, which can hold state and arbitary code can prove to be one of the best commercial ideas till now. Ethereum provides an exponential scaling of blockchain and is secured by cryptography. Hence, the coin has a lot of potential.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: March 23, 2018, 05:00:11 PM
The advantages of bitcoins are:
It provides individuals to earn huge amount of profits in a short period of time due to its volatile nature.
It has made transactions throughout the world possible. It provides pseudoanonymity in its transactions and hence the information of the sender and reciever is kept private. Also the transaction fees is much low.
There is transparency in its transactions as all the information is recorded in its blockchain.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 04:23:06 PM
According to me, the most common uses of bitcoins are:
Bitcoin is used to make money transactions across the world with minimun transaction fees and privacy in its transactions.
It is held as an investment due to its volatile nature. It has the capability to yield huge amount of profits.
It provides job opportunities for individuals through its campaigns.
It can be used to buy shares in companies which have accepted it as a mode of transaction.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coins to buy right now? on: March 22, 2018, 05:09:09 PM
Besides bitcoin, Ethereum can be considered as the best coin to make its investment into. The idea of ledger contracts which can hold state and arbitrary code, can prove to be one of the best commercial ideas till now. Also Ethereum is one of the best platform for posting new ICO's. Having a market capital of $54 billion, the coin has a lot of potential to grow in the future and provide profits. Ethereum provides an exponential scaling of blockchain and is backed up by a secure cryptography just like bitcoin which makes it a good alt to invest into.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: March 22, 2018, 04:50:11 PM
Im currently invested heavily into bitcoin, waves, and shift.

what are 3 good altcoins to look into that will see great return within the next 3-6 months.

Ethereum, Monero and Litecoins would be the coins which have a lot of potential to provide good returns in the future.
Ethereum provides a good platform for posting new ICOs and has gained its stability in the market. Also gaining a lot of acceptance in the market, the coin has way to go.
Monero provides complete anonymity in its transactions. It keeps the information  of sender and reciever private. Hence it is preferred for money transactions.
Litecoin with a market capital of $9 billion at the moment, has a lot of potential. And with its blockchain of 2.5 minutes, it is providing a healthy competition to bitcoin.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 22, 2018, 04:09:27 PM
Yes, I would still use bitcoin even when it is non volatile. But then it would be used more as a money transfer medium rather than as an investment as Bitcoin provides pseudoanonymity in its transactions. The transactions are secure and having a blockchain of 10 minutes and hence require a short period of time. Also the transaction fees is quite less and the payment can be made throughout the world.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Future Of Cryptocurrency on: March 21, 2018, 06:23:01 PM

Bitcoin – the Current Standard, that uses peer-to-peer technology.

Bitcoins are created digitally through a “mining” process that requires powerful computers to solve complex algorithms and crunch numbers. They are currently created at the rate of 25 Bitcoins every 10 minutes and will be capped at 21 million, a level that is expected to be reached in 2140.

Litecoin – Litecoin is designed for processing smaller transactions faster. Unlike the heavy computer horsepower required for Bitcoin mining, Litecoins can be mined by a normal desktop computer.

Ripple – Like Bitcoin, Ripple is both a currency and a payment system. The currency component is XRP, which has a mathematical foundation like Bitcoin. The payment mechanism enables the transfer of funds in any currency to another user on the Ripple network within seconds.

MintChip – Unlike most cryptocurrencies, MintChip is actually the creation of a government institution, specifically the Royal Canadian Mint. MintChip is a smart card that holds electronic value and can transfer it securely from one chip to another. Like Bitcoin, MintChip does not need personal identification; unlike Bitcoin, it is backed by a physical currency, the Canadian dollar.

Other coins which can be the future of cryptocurrency are Monero and Ethereum.
Monero provides complete anonymity in its transactions. The information of the sender and reciever is kept private. Hence the coin will be preferred in the future.
Ethereum on the other hand has so much potential and is a more profitable coin. It has shown a growth of 3700% in 2017. Also, the coin is used as a token for smart applications and is a very good coin for posting new ICO's.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: March 21, 2018, 06:02:20 PM
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?

Yes, Ethereum has shown much potential in the past year but still to take the first place among all the cryptocurrencies, it has a long way to go. Also Bitcoin's market capital at present is $150 billion which compared to Ethereum's $54 billion is much more. When there was a drop in bitcoin's price, ethereum price got decreased too and that to a much more percentage than bitcoin. Hence, it shows that Bitcoin is still the king of all the cryptocurrencies. The advantage that Ethereum has over Bitcoin is its use as a smart contract and its unlimited supply in comparison to Bitcoin's 21 million. Hence it all depends on the future on how the coin will continue in the market.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: March 21, 2018, 05:44:12 PM
Besides Bitcoin, the best cryptocurrencies which I like on my portfolio to invest into are Litecoin, Ethereum and Monero.
However the best coin would be Ethereum at present, having a market capital of $54.5 billion, it is the most preferable and the most profitable coin. Also being the second-most valuable cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, Ethereum rocketed 3,700% in 2017 which makes it a good option for investment. It even allows individuals and organizations to build out and conduct complex transactions independent of a central server or relying on any one party to approve the submission, making it more good for investment.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: March 17, 2018, 03:47:18 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
Even though bitcoin has reached a very high height of success   But still I don’t think that it will be able to replace fiat money from the world because firstly, bitcoin is a very unstable form of currency and its value keeps on fluctuating whereas money is s stable form of currency and it value does not fluctuate. Then bitcoin is not centralised whereas real money is governed by government or a bank. Also real money is way more popular than bitcoin and has way more users than bitcoin.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: March 15, 2018, 03:56:52 AM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
It’s true that bitcoin has defeated gold in the terms of prices and since bitcoin has started it has gained huge amount of popularity and users throughout the world resulting in increasing its demand. But stil I don’t think that bitcoin is better than gold because firstly, gold is a stable form of currency and its value does not fluctuate often whereas bitcoin is not a stable form of currency and its value fluctuate a lot. Secondly, gold is trusted worldwide and is also accepted around the globe whereas bitcoin is not trusted and it is not accepted everywhere.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: March 13, 2018, 07:10:22 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?
If I were in that situation then I would have quit gambling as if I start to play again to gain back all those losses then I would most probably loose as then greed would take over my mind and I would probably end up getting lost all the money that I made back and also that I came with in the casino. And also that money is a necessity and also we can't live without money but we can live without gambling. And in the end the most important thing that only risk losing that much money that you can afford to loose.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 13, 2018, 06:45:53 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.
I highly doubt that positive thinking can affect the outcome of our bet as if we are playing on an online casino then already the outcome is fixed by the algorithm on which the casino is built, but if we are betting on a sports game then also there is no chance that outcome is dependent on the positive thinking. But if we are playing in a physical casino then there are chances that the outcome can be affected by our positive thinking to a certain extent.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: March 13, 2018, 06:27:34 PM
Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

Bitcoin is volatile because there's no one controling it. It is decentralized meaning the government has no power over it same with any other organization. It has no stable value because it is rotating through blockchain technology and there's no definite assurance that it will always be in demand. You can benefit from the volatility of bitcoin wherein as the value pumps up, your profit will rise with it together but it can also happen in reverse.
Yes bitcoin is volatile because of its nature and having no control by anyone, Everyone is free to buy or sell bitcoin at any time. The increasing interest of the people also make bitcoin more volatiles. Bitcoin will remain as volatile because for a long time because still much more people have to accept bitcoin.
Bitcoin's value is very volatile because its value depends on the forces of demand and supply. If the demand in the market is more then the prices will automatically rise and vice versa will occur if demand is less or supply is more.Since bitcoin has gained a lot of popularity in the last nine years, its demand is increasing day by day.Bitcoin is also decentralised so it is not under any central bank or government. It is based on blockchain technology and is internet regulated.
