It is complicated in the beginning, as time pass by, people who work in the industry will figure out a way to simplify for less educated users. People find currency market is complicated in the beginning, however as time pass by, now it is one of the easiest way to trade in trading market.

Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it?

Saving and investing must take place at the same time. If you don't save money you would not have money to invest. If you don't invest then the money you saved will depreciated by inflation. saving and investing must come together. or you don't do both, which doesn't benefit at all

Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K
|
on: February 16, 2018, 10:26:12 AM
|
It will hit many higher high in the future. 20,000 is somewhere near the bottom of the hill. just like when bit coin was around 3000, people suspect it is overvalued and it will crash, but time proves it only goes high once it recovered from the corrections. The same thing will happen again and again in the future. just be patient, break outs only happens 20% of the time, majority of the time we can just wait

Economy / Exchanges / Account locked for no reason on Cryptopia
|
on: February 07, 2018, 10:49:55 AM
|
I tried to login to my account, however it showed my account is being locked, since I failed to login for 3 times. But seriously I only tried once and my account and password was saved automatically by the browser. I did some research on Cryptopia account lock, it turns out that many users are experiencing the same issue, and none of them got a reply from Cryptopia's response. Some of then have been waiting for a month. Anyone here has the same problems? or any idea what can we do to protect our asset?

Mining industry definitely benefit from for mining. Hardware is a big industry and have survived for decades, crypto does help but I believe it is only a small portion of the total sale. On the other hand, Mining is a disadvantage for bitcoin and many other minable crypto, many news and government reports state bitcoin 's existence harms environment because of its mining process.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin?
|
on: January 25, 2018, 06:55:14 PM
|
We need altcoins. Bitcoin and ethereum have high transaction fees, and relative slow transaction. We need altcoin in trading since altcoin exchanges can minimize the transaction fee, in real life altcoins can work for the same purpose. Also many altcoins are more environment friendly than bitcoin and ethereum.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It was bitcoin 2017. It will be ethereum 2018.

I agree that 2018 is the year of ethereum, as more altcoins are coming to crypto market, the demand of ethereum is growing as the formation of ICOs. cryptokitties is also a prove that more project is trying to build on ethereum blockchain. Bitcoin's market cap is huge and its price/transaction fees are not friendly to small investers, ethereum can be a perfect substitute for a stable crypto investment

Bitcoin is getting healthier and stronger than ever, why do you think it will die. remember those times when its value decreased more than 50% in a day, it survived all the way to now.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years?
|
on: January 04, 2018, 04:37:19 AM

it is impossible to have bigger increase than altcoins, since majority altcoins have less market cap therefore easier to bump the price. Also many people said different things among the topic, some say that bitcoin will never increase again, and some say that it will be more than 1 million in two years.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One currency One world?
|
on: January 02, 2018, 10:50:34 PM
|
At present, it appears that implementing a single currency worldwide would be highly impractical. Indeed, the prevailing theory is that a mixed approach is more desirable. In certain areas, such as Europe, gradually adopting a single currency may lead to considerable advantages. But for other areas, trying to force a single currency would likely do more harm than good.
