Yes, they're great...except at removing bots from play.  It's indisputable there are 2 bots who play most freerolls...

Bump!
We're looking into this issue - trying to think of a proper solution.

Quick thanks for the continued support by our players!

Stay tuned as we're hard on work on some improvement. Obviously, we want to be the best place to play for all of YOU Smiley

In the meantime, we've made some MAJOR additions to the tourney schedule:

We are interesting in running some new promotional tournaments this Sunday, so everyone can get lots of multi-tabling action!

What would everyone be interested in seeing?
Blind speed? 5 min turbo? 8 min? 10 min? deepstack?
Rebuys?
Omaha?

We'll make it happen

Great! Our PLO community response has been one of our best so far. We're adding a 500 PLO guaranteed with more tourneys on the way shortly.

Our "Hourly 1k Guaranteed Turbos" continue to be a hit as well, and we're having regular cash action Grin

Nice cash games going on!

Cash game action is finally picking up, multi-tables/stakes 1-2 up to 25/50 every day...

Still, usually just 3-4 handed action! Hopefully we can get some full tables going soon, no reason not to, especially with the new hourly 500's and turbos.

Hi, when I try to connect to www.satoshipoker.org over https, Firefox produces the following message:

This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to www.satoshipoker.org, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure

Perhaps you need a TLS certificate?

Agreed. I was just about to say this.

Fellow Bitcoin Players,

Look for some special news coming up in the next 48 hours...

Also, per security certificate, we are currently installing the highest-end Symantec international for our site! This should be live soon.

Also, please join our Super Sunday Guaranteed at 9 PM EST - 5 BTC Guaranteed (10 seats)! Always a nice chance at free overlay on us!

Guys, we can't just stick to freerolls and small buy-in mtts and then expect SatoshiPoker to serve us with its good services and freerolls forever.
Come and play some cash, not just it helps the site to survive and improve further, but it also gives you the chance to show your skills and win big.
Cash is the arena of more skill and less luck, let's be keen enough and say: challenge accepted!

The rest I don't care much about, or at least have an easier solution: don't lend online people money, create multiple chat channels.
I don't think it is necessary to require documentation, or remove anonymity for them to do a better job of detecting collusion or multi-accounting.
Satoshi does this DAILY with IP tracking. JFC. NOT rocket science.
You still haz relative anonymity.
Stars and Tilt can police this shit fucking blindfolded.
[Of course, slawdog playing w/ his roommate in the same tourney then talking about it helps LOL.]

If you look at what their competitors are doing and the success they are having in catching these people it's pretty clear that seals isn't interested in stopping the problem until the players notice something wrong and notify them.

It's a shame that a large amount of the regular players are leaving the site for satoshi or only playing a limited amount of games, the site seemed to have potential and like many other people i enjoyed playing there.

Way to fuck up a good thing Micon!

Also, keep in mind that Satoshi doesn't maintain an <internet poker> thread @ 2+2 [like Seals and PD]:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/

Why?

Hi BTC-talkers!

Satoshi Poker"s marketing guy here. I'll be helping BitcoinFlush manage the thread - we're on opposite time zones Smiley

As for 2+2, look for our thread LIVE next week, and other major announcements. Your support this weekend in our 5 and 10 seat guaranteed tourneys is appreciated!

For live help, we are usually logged into Grindabit community chat.
