Why don't you just ask the team directly about the speed

I did. forum.helloiota.com  Still waiting for a reply. (But they are good But just have other things to do I guess

Bitcointalk.org is my first coin talk place..

But have you tried other altcoins such as EOS, XRP, and QTUM? and comparing it with IOTA?

I've only used Bitcoin and Iota. It scares me that I spent Bitcoins in 2011.

since we are talking about transaction speed, how about Syscoin's 60,000 TPS?

Very interesting. I just cant keep up with all these coins.

A wild IOTA shill has appeared!
Ive been a Bitcoin Shill since 2011 till 2017. Bought my firsts coins  in 2011 with help from this very forum. I got 100% out of Bitcoins in 2017 at the peek as it was all over the news media (who I don't trust). Iver paid fees of $23 and maybe more.
Like most New Zealanders I wish there was just one coin to rule them. In my opinion that will happen soon in 2020. And we all know who will run that coin. But I won't say who that is as I  wouldn't want to be seen as a shill.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Iota Getting Faster and Therefore more usable. on: September 30, 2019, 12:14:11 AM
I am an iota owner - Bitcoin refugee.

All I want from these coins is the ability to send value to another person in a timely manner. Bitcoin did the  job at first but fees killed its usability.

I have been sending iotas to my own accounts. I have 3. Two on computers and one on my phone. The other days I checked up on speeds of transactions and was astounded by the conformation times. Seconds to Sending/Receiving and then conformation follows soon afterwards. Making Iota a usable tool.

Do you agree with me that Iota speeds are getting better..?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for No Fee Coins on: July 05, 2019, 06:45:44 PM
When was that? Around what time did you make use of Bitcoin to do transaction and got charged up to $5 as transactions fees

I joined the Bitcoin Forum Date Registered:    May 20, 2011, 01:39:52 PM  after listening to Steve Gibson talk about Bitcoin.

Sadly all I wanted from Bitcoin was to use it Sad not invest.

But it did work. There were fees but I forget what percentage.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Looking for No Fee Coins on: June 25, 2019, 08:49:34 PM
Hi

I actually used Bitcoins in the beginning to sends $10 there. And Pay $5 there. But Fees killed this.

I am now using iota as there are no fees. But am still looking for that magic no fees coin.

Are there any other no fee coins other than iota

Thank You

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best Coin to Buy on Binance with credit card for Alt coin purchase. ie Iota on: May 28, 2019, 12:03:33 AM
Hi
I want to use my credit card to buy Iota on Binance. I can not buy Iota directly buy must buy

XPR OR BTC OR XPR OR ETH OR LTC OR BCHABC

These are the coins that Binance allow you to purchase with your credit card.

If all I want to do is buy Iota. What is the best of these coins to buy. For instance I would not use BTC due to their fees.

Thank You.

Hi

I have non bitcoins or Lightcoins in Cryptsy which has gone bust. Is there anyway to see if I can retrieve them. As you can see I sorta used Cryptsy like pirate uses a desert island. I just left them there and to my horror the island seems to have been washed away...

Any advice here..

30  Bitcoin / Electrum / Will Electrum take over my Hard Drive on: December 15, 2015, 10:04:00 AM
I used the Windows Bitcoin app     https://bitcoin.org/en/download  to store send and receive my bitcoins. Now that I am on Linux I have downloaded Electrum.

I wasnt too happy with my Widows Wallet. It took forever to get up to date and used Tons of Hard drive space..

Does Electrum do the same...

Hi

My account is locked on Cryptsy. I can get a new Password sent to my Username and Email address but I still get locked out of my account. I have used Cryptsy, the interface works well and I have had no problems in the past.

I can exchange USD for Bitcoin on Cryptsy so I was eager start trading there.

I have no idea how to catch their attention...

Thank You..

Thank you...

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bringing old Bitcoin back to life on: December 04, 2013, 01:29:53 AM
Hi

I have left a bitcoin on my computer for well over 2 years with out opening the wallet. I now have open the wallet program with it on. The wallet has been going for 3 days now but it say it is still loading blocks. Is this normal.

What is the best way to maintain your bitcoin wallet. I don't really want it running all the time as it seems to use a lot of resources..

Thank you..

37  Bitcoin / Legal / Bitcoin Contract on: November 28, 2013, 09:23:49 PM
Hi

We all know that the value of Bitcoin can be a on a bit of a roller coaster as far as equivalent Dollar Value goes. I think there needs to be a standard document (Contact maybe)  that two parties can sign that locks in the value of a dollar and a bitcoin for the duration of that contract.

I have no idea how to word such a document.

Is this a good idea..

thx
