761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 09:46:15 PM
I already have a 760 for gaming, which I use for casual mining.

I'm asking this because I'd like to correlate what I have with the most popular nvidia mining card. I'm seeing results of plenty 750ti's and rarely my own. If someone tells me that, from personal experience, a 760 is on avg x% faster or slower than a 750ti, I know what to expect. My intuition is that they are equivalent even if it's apples and oranges, 256 bits and more cuda cores on one side, efficient scheduling and advanced instructions on the 750.

For example I get 5Mh/s on heavycoin and 145 Kh/s on vert. That's with core = 1280 and mem = 1650. Is this what to expect?

Also, I ask again, how do I undervolt my 760? MSI 3.08 beta failed to load, and 2.31 doesn't allow voltage control. Asus Gpu tweak doesn't work either. I believe I screwed up somewhere, but if you know another way, please help. Edit: nevermind, I need to fix my installation
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 22, 2014, 09:29:02 PM
So, what is faster? A 750Ti or a 760?

Something else... how do you undervolt Nvidia cards?
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - Ultra-secure, Decentralized Block Reward Voting, Fast on: March 22, 2014, 08:23:02 PM
I'm still mining this one with my Nvidia and stacking up on these coins. Not willing to sell until it reaches 0.0005 or even 6. We will see how it goes.

50K satoshi?    Grin Grin Grin
That's what I said. This coin is very easy to mine, low power cost. I don't feel the need to dump to pay the bills.

Difficulty is through the roof and block reward voting brings an interesting dynamic.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Unable to mine Nscrypt on new computer on: March 22, 2014, 08:06:44 PM
nscrypt is way too stressful on videocards.

You're running your card inside your PC case, and at stock voltage? What brand and model is it? What clocks do you use?

Also post the commandline you're using.

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Thinking of adding USD!? on: March 22, 2014, 07:23:47 PM

Considering that Paul Vernon (BigVern) has a Less Than Honorable discharge form the US Army I'm sure that plays a part in it. Initally charged with Indencency with a Minor he pleaded guilty to a lesser misdeamenor charge avoiding jail time and life time sex crimes offender registration. I don't think we'll be seeing any USD there as long as he is the principle holder.

Where do you come up with this crap? That is absolutely false.

Another question, was the Army aware that you were conducting business for a crypto exchange while deployed? Maybe the Army CID needs to be made aware your activities. Also do you deny Paul Vernon recieved anything less than an Honarable Discharge and he did not leave the Army on his own?
The part with sex crimes and all that, you're obviously pulling out of your ass.

Regarding the rest, even if were true, why the fuck should at least 96% of the world population care about any of this crap???

770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT overtakes doge coin on: March 22, 2014, 02:28:35 PM
NXT IS A SCAM, YOU CAN NOT MINE IT
yes you can!
at: http://www.hashrate.org/

No, you are mining scrypt coins on a multipool that pays out in Nxt.

When it becomes the most profitable, with some added margin for my trouble of manually dumping Nxt for BTC, I'll consider it.
771  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Anyone GPU Bitcoin mining in 2014? on: March 22, 2014, 01:05:10 PM
We are all well aware that it is not profitable to do so and is less productive than banging one's head against the wall, however hobbyism and enthusiasm has made me do it last summer, and I considered it multiple times for the heck of it. Leaving one out of 8 GPUs bitcoin mining isn't much of a loss anyway.

I'd really like to know people's experience on mining software, pools, solo mining, p2pool usage, etc ...

772  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.3.6, the GUI/monitor for CGMiner and BFGMiner to prevent downtime on: March 22, 2014, 12:49:53 PM
I'd like to have a way to dump a screenshot to disk,  for example when a GPU becomes Dead. Is there any way with CGWatcher to do this?

Thanks!

773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: frozen account in cryptsy on: March 22, 2014, 12:10:17 PM
Please post here your progress.

25 BTC is a lot of money, and Cryptsy has to get their shit together. You are far far from the random idiots that spam their support and trollbox for the sake of a few satoshis. If your case is not taken seriously, it speaks volumes for Cryptsy credibility.

776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 22, 2014, 11:03:07 AM
For what it's worth, this experiment in crypto currencies shows why governments and regulated banking exist, and why 'anarchists' or 'preppers' as we call them in the US are misguided... anybody who ever wants the rule of law to come from mobs of people with guns (and this is coming from a person who owns 7 guns) simply would probably not be the best person to be the one in charge. Human nature is such that governments such as what we have now are better than anarchy or chaos.... a system of checks and balances where laws are typically made by representatives who we elect that vote on our behalf.. the system works well though it's not without flaws and does have a reek of corruption in it, you can bet any sort of anarchistic system hardcore libertarians would come up with would have the same sorts of corruption.
I guess this will derail the thread a bit, but preppers are not misguided, they just stack up for survival and self-defense under lawlessness and chaos. I'm not from the U.S. and for sure learned a few things from them. From radio hams to Mormons, from the US army survival guide to naturalists. We have nukes, 1 quadrillion of $US worth of derivatives in the world, and psychopaths in power. Screw ups can happen.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why my rig keeps hanging [BAMT with 4 280x GPU's]? on: March 22, 2014, 10:40:09 AM
After you RMA'd the mobo, did it work for you? Other than swapping the mobo, did anything else change (any other different hardware)?
Yes. The store tested with Prime95 and it failed with either my FX-6100 and also a Phenom T1100. Then I told them I wanted a new one, same Asrock unfortunately because a better one costed a lot more (some Asus Sabertooth). However this new one works flawlessly for 3 months now. Nothing changed, I can throw RAMs of different speeds and brands, single-channel 6GB RAM, some overclock, power saving options, lots of weird crap enabled on the BIOS, FX-6100 with a basic heatsink, Windows 7 booting from a USB pen, fake Alfa USB wifi dongle. All this shit works!

But be sure it is the mobo. Because I have a 7870 card that does precisely the same. Or even it's an hardware issue at all.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to trade in bitcoins with other Altcoin for a profit. on: March 22, 2014, 10:27:01 AM
There is also that cryptsy trading bot, that could help..

Oh do Share!!
It is payware. I believe he's talking about C.A.T. Search the forum for "Cryptsy bot".

I do NOT vouch for it, though, just mentioning. There are perhaps some others.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 2nd PSU cuts out! Please help. on: March 22, 2014, 09:23:20 AM
I have no experience with dual-PSU hacks for mining rigs, but I know a few things about the devices.

Please post web link to the exact brand, model and specs of the PSUs.

What coins are you mining, and at what voltage are the cards?

Do you have (powered) risers and connect them to the proper PSU?
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i need some help please help me on: March 22, 2014, 09:19:40 AM
You need the vertcoin miner from https://vertcoin.org/#mining

Then read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416572.0

I don't have a config to provide atm, sorry.
