What kind of dumps you talking about? Diamond is a rare coin (which is only 4.38 million coins in the system), it's like you have rare coins or antiques.
POS system protects network (no need for a huge number of mining farms, in the case of BTC or LTC)
And most importantly, this coin is not premine which usually sell the developers before they escape.
My only point was really the factual error of the LTC doubling in price after the halving which clearly didn't happen... Yes, LTC is speculative coin 80% of which is controlled by an anonymous exchanger btc-e. There's no income POS only speculation games. If this exchanges to be in trouble, then the price on LTC will fall at least 5 times. |

Quick reminder, we have about 55 more days until the next DMD Diamond stake rate halving. This means the annual stake rate will go down from 50% to 25%. More importantly, this will also halve DMD Diamond supply generated by staking of Diamonds currently available. We already know how scarce DMD is and how hard is to buy any meaningful amount. Well, it s gonna be ever harder to get your hands on DMD in less then 2 months. So, in other words, the same demand will meet 1/2 of the current staking induced supply and this will definitely affect the price. Comparing this to the latest LTC block halving, where the LTC price doubled after block halving, it is highly possible we can expect the same scenario with DMD Diamond. Personally, I will be trying to get every single Diamond I can during these last 2 months of current staking rate. Again, this is my plan and my agenda of how I can the situation, not an investment advice. Remember, scarcity created value and DMD Diamond supply s about to change big time.  I don't want to be negative but LTC did not double in price after the reward halving at block 840,000 (25/08/2015) but the price actually dropped before recovering again. See below:  The USD price shortly before halving was over $4,- and after the halving was $2.5,- and right now it's $3.33,- so that's an increase of 33.2% to date from the day of the halving (with a spike on 04/11/2015 to $4.882,-). The same was true of DOGE after the halving and the price has since fallen as you know. The reason I'm saying this is that I am a big supporter of DMD and I have a few and I also have shares in the DMD cloudming so I want a bright future for DMD. What might be counter-productive is too much hype and building of expectations in the community, especially among newcomers with little experience. You have been on a good path and should stick to it and make sure that the community is behind you all the way. Anyone knows that you can not predict value and prices and that if you hype people into buying DMDs and then the "promised" price hike doesn't materialise you will have a bunch of people unhappy with DMD and will not help to bring you forward and are likely to dump and leave. if ya sync from zero expect 3 days sync time
aww, that's a problem, I will download on my VPS and keep a backup of private keys, that's the only way I guess, got 100MB speed. page 1 are some presynced chains linked and a bootstrap.dat too if u want to speed it up I downloaded the full chain from the OP and was synced in a few hours... I'd go that route. Thanks for your advice mate. I was about to ask the same thing now that my QT wallet takes hours to sync (syncing is very slow) even with 30MB high speed internet. I guess it is because I need more connections to the DMD network? Anyways, I'll try this to speed up the syncing process.  Simply download the archive with the base blocks,  unpack it, and all synchronization takes a less than an hour |

Are there any physical Diamond coins for sale? I want to buy one to securely store all the valuable diamond coins into that vault.  its in fact on roadmap to create diamond shaped offline storages can u read my mind? That would be something exciting and really cool to see someday. I imagine myself with a Physical Diamond Vault with this appearance. This would be added into my physical crypto coin collection. Collection physical diamonds is great  but there is one problem. If you are thinking move your collection to another country, the border crossing for you just it take away. With digital diamond is much more convenient and safer for the wearer. Nobody will know that your collection value in the million a placed one the small flash drive |

The start of the auction for the Legendary 10 addresses has been set to December 10. At first we aimed for December 1 to run it but decided that we needed to put more effort into spreading the word and give people ample of time to prepare. This is a major event for DMD Diamond and we want to make it as special as it can possibly be, hence attention to detail. What's more we might have some exciting news to share with regards to the roadmap so waiting will be definitely worthwhile. More details will follow, so stay tuned in.... We have now reached values in the 1.4 million coins.  Will be mining a 100 million coins to reduce awards in the POS block to 25% percent. So for you still a have time |

is a DMD faucet around here ?
Diamond is now perfectly balanced coin. 50% POS & 50% POW to withstand significant fluctuations POW network without problems. I think that the future crypto currency in such system. It's a lot more effective expenditure of energy resources than now in bitcoins. And I am sure that all of the current major owners of Diamond will do everything to ensure that this coin would be actively developed. |

one question to the community
the only DMD Foundation income source is for the Foundation share of POW mining which is like 6-7 DMD a day
and we have so many new projects in work
thats a reason what the legendary10 fundraising was created
additional to increase our available BTC funds for projects
i think about stop the DMD Multipool Lotto (with 100 DMD price once a month)
i mean we spend over 50% of our DMD income just for that one promotion action
i think we could find better ways to spend it
what do u think about this?
I think that the lottery was an interesting action for new entrants. Currently, all shareholders is the old investors and you can sends these coins more important goals than the lottery. |

that would be cool, someone could probably use some of the images you've already posted and put something together, I can give it a shot over the holliday but i have no skills. doesnt have to be a gif, just the logo plus some basic details such as 50% POS, maybe list a couple exchanges. a gif would be GREAT though, eye catching. i was thinking of funding the campaign for a week at about .003 btc (close to a $dollar) per day and then see how effective it is. they get some amazing traffic through freebitco.in. if it works out ill keep it going.
