Hope you like it
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity tips on: October 20, 2014, 10:09:58 PM
I am not sure that TOR can help in anonymity 100%. I had a one case, when using TOR website tell me from where I am, well this was only one time ...

Wow :O But it told you the exact city you are from or only the country?
Maybe the TOR exit node you were using was located in your country
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity tips on: October 20, 2014, 09:09:03 PM
As Bitcoin users it is a common interest on maintain anonymity on the web.

I do have a few questions.

Is TOR enough to conceal one's identity on the web? Not the Deepweb, but on Bitcointalk
If there is an IP leak, do the administrators at Bitcointalk cooperate with efforts to distribute personal information of Bitcointalk users to ISPs?

Man this sounds so shady its insane Cheesy
Stop doing scams and noone will search for you. NSA doesn't want to know your identity, dont worry, they already know Smiley

On serious note, tor should be enough if you know how to use it

I'm so fed up of this same old ignorance that haunts the forums.

Not everyone who wants his rights is doing something wrong.

Can I install cameras in the shower? Why not? If you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to hide!

Ever seen The Truman Show movie? Truman wasn't doing anything wrong, but it found annoying to live forcibly on the spotlight

That's why someone invented the concept of privacy for everyone not just criminals
464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: There is an epic blockchain.info theft method out there on: October 19, 2014, 08:15:23 PM
I do not have much time now, I keep this brief.

  • About 1 BTC stolen my blockchain.info wallet.

  • Unlikely my local machine was take over. It is used for only Bitcoin, is Linux, very safe and would have lost more if it was.

  • Very long password, completely at random. Is not used anywhere.

  • Always Access to blockchain.info on TOR. Recently updated Tor Browser Bundle 4.0. Extension is the default value.

  • The last few days there were three other transactions to the thief's address.  About 1 BTC each.

  • When I have more time I will thoroughly investigate to see if I can find out how it was done. After starting with a fresh machine, of course.

  • I'm a bitcoin hacker. That's why it's awesome. I know all the tricks, but I do not know how it was done. It was not ultrasecure wallet, but any of the obvious precautions are not forgotten by me.

However it was done, it's a new method. Maybe someone has access to blockchain.info and steal wallets, but starting small so do not attract attention. Or maybe someone really using TOR in one of these types of attacks that we consider only theoretical. I'm sure there's going to be epic revelation about blockchain.info soon. It was compromised or someone has wiped a lot of wallets because they were accessed through TOR.  Or something else.

If the thief is reading this, PM me, we'll share stories.

I'm not expert on TOR's inner workings but i'm throwing an hypothesis: who controls a TOR relay could be eavesdropping on SSL/TLS handshakes when the encrypted connection is established between a TOR user and the relay, and so he can actually decrypt all the traffic from that user, including the blockchain.info credentials.

Have you enabled 2-factor auth on blockchain?
If so, you should get the 2FA code for the login always from outside of TOR (use a different browser just to get your 2fa code via email).
465  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What about BitClix ad service? on: October 19, 2014, 07:35:10 PM
Hello guys.

Can anyone tell me how BitClix works?

I've created a publisher slot.I've got the code. I've published on my site but nothing happens. This ad is on my site for 3 days, the site has a daily visitors but still I didn't get any earnings.
Also the statistics tab on my account is empty.
Everythig is blank Huh Huh Huh

Please if this works for someone, then can he explain to me how to work with this site.

Thanks

It happened to me as well, but after a few days i checked it again and voilą...the earnings were there.
You have to wait a few days to see the earnings, maybe because the admin has to approve your site at the beginning
466  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What about BitClix ad service? on: October 19, 2014, 07:25:57 PM
my main horse will always be adsense google, but its cool to get some coins while running a faucet.

but now 1 day and nothing yet.

according with analytics i got 7.8 k views in the period.

it is always one or two days behind, did report it to the site owner, it lacks a lot of basic info, just a simple faq would suffice.
My adsense horse is a dead one, got expelled Sad
might risk it again with another account, but they seem to be all knowing..

Did they expel you because for them a faucet is poor in content?
Try enriching it with some articles before trying again with adsense or they'll block you again
467  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What about BitClix ad service? on: October 19, 2014, 07:09:01 PM
Not realy clear, I think it is per click, I have three ads and so far at 2000 views with 3 click average they pay between 51 and 7000 bits (5,100/700,000 satoshi) So not bad compared to other ad services like adbit and a-ads.

How do u know you got 3 clicks?
I don't see any info about clicks i got from the Stats, just the daily earnings
468  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC faucet! on: October 07, 2014, 10:26:15 PM
I was looking at the address you guys use to make the faucet payments and noticed a bunch of unconfirmed transactions. Then a day later some of those transactions aren't listed anymore. There's still one unconfirmed transaction Since you're sending payments through blockchain.info, it only retries for a certain period of time, then stops if no miner accepts it, so some people aren't getting their withdrawals because you're using too low a transaction fee. It would be better if you bunched together the payments and then use the recommended transaction fee.

Are you sure they got deleted?
We haven't received any notification via email from Blockchain and i'm sure they would let you know.

However we have started sending many payments in one unique tx with the default fee as you said
Here's a transaction that disappeared:
https://blockchain.info/tx/a38f301eacccc7e2ad197ace10f91237d2bc117bf90746be3e91f3c10afceb13
I got it from the google cache of for your address:
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://blockchain.info/address/1H4FPxhVEBxZd9zQKPRFVoccxKWMvrumQT

You're right ... and Blockchain didn't even send a warning.
Was that withdrawal for you?
We'll include that payment in the next transactions
It should not happen anymore since we are using the recommended fee now

Looks like you guys sent another tx with a single payment and below recommended fee:
https://blockchain.info/tx/3070e2a12639e6371ca5860812d2d2d6036f02134197b7a19b04115b131035fe

No it has been automatically sent by blockchain because it failed and blockchain attempts to send it again a few times.

Good news

The waiting time for the prize is now 50 minutes, not 60 anymore Wink

So you can get more money throughout the day

Some bug in faucet every time showing my balance different whats going on please check this thanks

By "every time" you mean "each time i enter the faucet with my BTC wallet"?

It's normal, you get a prize when you do that and the balance goes up Smiley

Are you sure you haven't placed bets?
When you win or lose a bet , your balance goes up or down depending on how much you bet.

P.S. We are working to lower the 60 minutes limit so you can get more daily money

- snip -

edit: just checked it, yeah i got it to work but still i prefer if your withdrawal limit was nearer the trend of other sites of 0.00005 BTC and not 0.0005 BTC.

I agree with you, current withdrawal limit is way too high compared to others. I'd suggest 0.0001 withdrawal limit to speed up people getting their payouts.

Yes guys we'll get there we're just improving Smiley

Withdrawal limit down

$ changed from 1.0 to 0.8
BTC changed from 0.0005 to 0.0003
Ł 0.01 unchanged

More great updates incoming, it will go down more and the money will go up as well, stay tuned
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Multiple payments in single transaction on: October 01, 2014, 11:08:44 AM
How can you set the network fee with sendmany or the equivalent Blockchain api, or the Electrum CSV import?

For example i want to make 30 payments in bulk and i want to pay 0.00001 network fee for each payment, is it possible ?
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is stabilizing? on: September 12, 2014, 08:23:24 PM
Because it is already priced in the market due to insider trading.

Also the price will go down a lot instead due to paypal users selling BC.

Who said paypal will let sell btc and not only buy them?

For example Payza already supports btc but only for withdrawing to btc, so you can only buy them not sell and the price is higher than in exchanges

I'm sure it will not be useful for trading but it would be still another service which supports the currency and should make it more valuable
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is stabilizing? on: September 12, 2014, 09:38:35 AM
With the receny Paypal news the price should rise in few days but I don't know if there will be a new bubble soon.

paypal announced they will support bitcoins, so WHY is BTC still going down??

big news like that used to raise price, why it hasnt happened now?
