441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 17, 2020, 01:29:29 PM
Steve Smith and Aron Finch are the main stay for Australia and with a huge total like this the bowlers are able to put pressure on the batsman as they are not giving away runs that easily and the fast bowlers are peppering Smith with short balls which is strange., Bumrah is bowling well but the rest of the bowlers are going for runs and if Australia can continue and build a good partnership then there is a chance for them to win the match.

Finch is gone, thanks to Jadeja who took his wicket before they managed a 100+ partnership. Smith is still dangerous as he can easily hit those important 4s and 6s which can be crucial.

I am interested in taking up the Hindi translation but is there a fixed reward in tokens or it's just a contest for winning Z9 mini?
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 17, 2020, 12:52:21 PM
Have a little hope today with 340 runs to chase and already one wicket down for Aus. A great comeback by Dhawan, Virat and Rahul. Two missed chances of reaching a 100, 4 for Dhawan and that run out for Rahul. Ind should get Smith out as his wicket down, a lot more hope to win the match.
444  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S related questions on: January 17, 2020, 12:32:37 PM
^^
Looks like they have already addressed this issue via their new article: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010856259

Is this the issue you were facing yesterday? The other users were facing other issues like syncing errors and errors when updating apps.
445  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S related questions on: January 17, 2020, 09:59:10 AM
I was trying to generate a new Bitcoin address yesterday to receive a transaction and ran into some small problems on my own. The Ledger Live software had some difficulties recognizing that my device was connected and the Bitcoin app was open. It just kept going in circles. After about 3 or 4 attempts where I had to close the BTC app and re-click on the 'Receive' button it finally got recognized and I was able to generate a new address.

Small glitch, I am just hoping it doesn't turn into something more serious.
Before someone asks, Ledger Live and all installed apps on the hardware wallet are up to date.

On Twitter they are asking everyone to clear their Cache incase they encounter such problems so may be try clearing your Cache. I did that too and now my software is working fine. Go to Settings > Help > Clear Cache.
446  Economy / Gambling / Re: 24kCasino - Quick Payout | Loyalty Rewards | Welcome Bonus | Bitcoin-ETH-LTC ✔ on: January 17, 2020, 09:53:57 AM

We have daily bonuses that change all the time.

The Ferrari claim is not exaggerated. You can buy so many prizes from the Reward Store. You buy these prizes with loyalty points. You earn these points by playing on our site. For a big prize like Ferrari & 24k gold bar, you can buy from the store with 100M & 50M loyalty points.

Best Regards
24kcasino

Do daily bonuses include loyalty points or cash rewards or something else? Has anyone managed to reach 50M loyalty points yet? Please let me know so that I can share it on my thread as well.
447  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S related questions on: January 16, 2020, 02:59:52 PM

The good thing is that the problem was solved by itself, but the question is whether the problem will recur in the future. It may be just something completely harmless from a technical point of view, but it's also the first sign that the screen is starting to show the first signs of some kind of damage. If you were able to record that error, you can contact Ledger support, in most cases the replacement of the device is free. Something similar happened in this case.

On what OS are you using Ledger Live? W7 is known to do such problems, but W10 or Linux should work without problems. What you can try is uninstall Ledger Live, delete his folder with all files (C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Ledger Live) and install the latest version from Ledger.

I have taken out a video showing this display issue but since it got resolved on its own, I do not want to replace it now. Also, if they offer replacement, it would take days to receive the device and I need it to trade so would contact them if it happens again.

I have Windows 10. Their earlier Ledger Live version had a sync issue and used to crash in between a transaction and the problem happens now too but less often since I updated it.
448  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S related questions on: January 16, 2020, 01:37:31 PM
Encountered a new mini problem. I used my device after 3 months and noticed some line on the LCD which made the upper portion of the numbers invisible. Then restarted the device and it solved the issue but no clue why the issue even started.

They updated their Ledger Live but still it crashes while using it. Looks like they need to update their current version to solve the issue.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 16, 2020, 01:01:02 PM
Such coins that are valued high have mostly a buy order with the least price so if I have waited long for the high price, I see the coins at the low price instead of waiting for an indefinite time. It has mostly paid off as I get BTC/ETH in exchange that always has hope of increasing in price.
450  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Balance Moved to a New Address on: January 16, 2020, 11:15:45 AM
Now here is a point of discussion. When coins are being sent from one person to a specific address, there is no "sending address" unless the coins are stored in a single address completely. Since many users of this forum have received payments from different sources like some signature campaign, some giveaway, exchanges, work payments, all those are combined to pay the sum that the user asks to send. Correct me if I am wrong here.

As for turning off the use of change addresses go to Tools>Preferences>Transactions and check/uncheck the boxes in that page. If you apply these for your Ledger's wallet it should work, though I dont have specific results for hardware wallets in case they vary.

There is no such option in Ledger Nano. I checked all options in Settings for that means it will go on for each transaction and I will need to login to my account to know my real balance. Will need to use Electrum to send from a specific address and avoiding this change address feature.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: **Crypto trading signals** (share what you're targeting) on: January 16, 2020, 10:49:05 AM
I am trading ATL as it seems to be dying since the time I have the tokens. Earlier they were $0.6 and now worth $0.03. I have set them at a price $0.04 in BTC on yobit exchange so hoping they reach this price and my tokens get sold at that rate. Should happen in this week else will again change my target.

One user has asked on my Hindi translated thread about the secret bonus. Can you please explain what it is? Also the users feel Ferrari claim is exaggerated.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 15, 2020, 08:48:28 AM

I would definitely blame the bowlers since they could not take a single wicket between which is downright pathetic. Both the bowlers and batsmen performed horribly. However, Warner and Finch had a lot of luck in this match. Lets see if luck favors them in the next one.

Yeah, but bowlers shouldn't take all the blame when the batsmen too did not perform well. Not being able to take a single wicket was still fine if they had to have a good economy rate and let the Aussies struggle with dot balls. Except for Jadeja and Yadav, the remaining best bowlers of the team were miserable. Jadeja made Warner struggle.

Winning the toss was a major factor so hope next time India wins the toss and bowls first.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 14, 2020, 07:56:39 PM
Not only disappointing but an embarrassing match. Australia won in just 37 overs and that too without losing any wicket. Can't blame the bowlers as the batsmen were equally disappointing. Thakur, Bumrah, Shami all had over 7-8 economy rate. Glad Kohli said he was miserable in all three departments.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 14, 2020, 11:37:03 AM
Rohit's dismissal costed them a lot and now with just bowlers left to bat and a low score below 250-260 will cost them this match. Aussies bowled the best today that even Kohli lost his wicket early. I just hope they cross 270 but it seems too unexpected at this stage.

255 all out  Cry

I don't want to be delusional as India have already lost half the battle. Now just manage to save the runs till the 48th over  Sad
457  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Balance Moved to a New Address on: January 14, 2020, 11:34:31 AM

On another note, I had a similar type of panic when I saw my coins not in explorer but found them in the wallet in another change address. However your second post here seems that you did remember the transaction that you had done.

Are you sure it was a "temporary memory loss"? Or are you trying to feign something because you are conscious about being called a fool? There is nothing to be shy about sending money to wrong address, happens with even the best of the best.

Still I think the first post that you made seems that Electrum had sent the money to a change address. These are nothing to make you worry and you can turn off this feature as well in you wallet UI. Those coins in change are still yours if they are there.

Is there a way to switch off this feature in Ledger Nano S? It has now created 5 addresses in my wallet and there is no option to choose a specific sending address as it chooses that on its own. Some addresses contain less than 0.01 btc which may increase the required network fee.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not being sold for $24,000 in Iran on: January 13, 2020, 08:25:41 PM
The news was true as people were panicking after the war rumors so feel bad as they must have lost a lot if they did trade their cash for bitcoins. Now the situation is under control compared to one week back but this happens when people can't access the internet and there is a panic situation where bitcoins can be misused. I hope the news of war has died down now.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: January 13, 2020, 06:32:12 PM
The only problem is not its speculative price as even if we want to use the cryptocurrency, we don't have means. Big e-commerce websites don't accept it and those having this option don't accept the flat rate in USD/EUR etc., if we try to buy gift cards we have to pay huge premium, withdrawals again are expensive with high fees in crypto as well as fiat, debit cards are worthless with paying fees more than PayPal charges etc. Even if the price is worth it, these fees ruin the entire deal. It's better to hold fiat any day than pay online/offline via bitcoins.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 13, 2020, 01:34:30 PM
Wankhede is lucky for MI and the Indian team and it's winter so hoping to see runs more than 350-400. Aus has won 29 ODIs against India in India in total 61 matches so hoping to see this series won by India now as they have a well settled team this time. Missing Dhoni. He should have played for his team in ODIs atleast.

Got to know Aus have not played an ODI since WC. Hope they struggle now lol.
