It's happening! The bottom is in! (maybe)

As a seasoned and professional power-top, I would council caution at this juncture. Possibly use the safe-word. (maybe)

Food for thought.Cautious.

This is how Nocoiner Worldwide panic looks like.

Now it's just pushing it.

Any time the price will reverse and everybody gonna start buying

Here it comes...

not strong enough yet.

My theory:
The seller aka Market Maker is done for the day 20:00 UTC.
This guy is definitely a Pro, working hours on UTC, (London) and Weekdays mostly
The selling pressure turned off at 20:00 UTC hence the green.
Cautious.
Need to see what he does tomorrow.

So where is this bounce you guys been talking about ?
7960 to 9100  - That's all you get realistically.

May bounce again but have to go below 7960.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2018, 06:35:41 PM

Dint notice that at all.
Glued to price action.
Gaving you all my merit. For noticing that..(Unfortunately had only 1,lol)

It is not the first time. In fact its almost clockwork during this time of year. First time I noticed was back when LTC gpu mining was a thing and dodge fun coin was created.

Guessing the BCH guys see them as sources of market cap

down we go.

Word to the wise and caution for thew new ones.

The crypto market can be easily controlled by special interest groups using techniques such as conclusion, misinformation, and insider trading that would net them some jail time in the traditional stock or currency markets.

For the last 48 hours it's obvious how both ETH and LTC are slowly being devalued against BTC via the introduction of BCH trading pairs between BCH/LTC BCH/ETH BCH/DASH BCH/ZEC.

Coins such as EOS that only have BTC and ETH as trading pairs have remained untouched and have gained in BTC valuation.

It works with those fud charts that become a self fulfilling proficiency with just a little help from old market manipulator... Wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean?

Remember oldschool and new day traders regulation that has helped the "traditional" market manipulation is not present in the crypto currency exchanges.

Perhaps on Feb 6th we will know more on how steps will be enforced adopted into this market.

Market manipulation to devalue XYZ crypto coins in favor of abc coins leave behind clues that may get such participants in trouble in the forthcoming months.

Dint notice that at all.
Glued to price action.
Gaving you all my merit. For noticing that..(Unfortunately had only 1,lol)

“Following the ad ban by Facebook, China banned advertising cryptocurrencies as well. Japan has forced local exchanges to warn about risks of cryptocurrency trading. While India announced the toughening of the regulation of the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin can rebound, but on the upside investors will sell it in the short term,”

https://www.rt.com/business/417677-cryptocurrency-market-fall-india/

The Indian govt usually procrastinates policy as much as possible. Bureaucrats need time to figure out policy.
Zebpay, Unocoin ,Coinsecure and Koinex are india largest exchanges : I don't think their combined volume accounts for much.

There was no new regulation announced as such.
The actual news was "its not legal tender", cant use it as currency in india. But people allowed to trade it as an asset. And pay taxes on it.
All the exchanges continue to operate legally.

They announced they would look into integrating blockchain innovations. Some states seem to have tenders for integration IT projects. That is bullish in the long term.

And the most ridiculous part of the last few days ? If you own the allegedly manipulated scamcoin tether then you've outperformed everything else. Rational markets eh.....

In theory tether is pegged very close to the dollar.    It has been flat the last year while most coins are still up 300-1000%

Quite, but isn't the whole point of this latest round of FUD that Tether is an unbacked scam and therefore not really worth $1 or tethered at all.   If the price is stable close to $1 then maybe it's not a scam and all this is just made up shite and not even FUD

All the fuckheads have to do is release a letter from the bank confirming the balance.  No audit required - we can all count the number of Tether outstanding.   It’s a 5 minute job.
My 2 cents:
I believe the market will bottom out even before Tether proves their USD liquidity.
I don't think this sell off has much to do with Tether other than the timing of the Bloomberg news.
The market moves wherever liquidity is.
All the price movements can be timed by good TA guy.

Psychology is what drives us to associate FUD with the pricedrop.
FUD/news might help with the timing of the pricing movements.

I could be absolutely wrong.

Yeah kind of..
Have a very small stash.

Sold the trading stash. Don't have the balls i guess.
Im expecting a bounce at the current level.Just gave up on it.A small rally once the selling pressure subsides.
Opted to put in buys the way down. Hoping atleast the 7500 fills.
Bounce @8900
Bounce @7500
Bounce @5500

I don't mean to be calling you names, but it just does not seem to be a good strategy to play like that - which I mean is selling at about 55% retracement.. and the practice should not be different whether you are holding a lot or holding a little, and probably the most convincing mistake is that either you had not sold enough earlier or you had invested too much (even if it is a small amount)... but yeah, it is understandable that each of us have to do what ends up being comfortable for us... and hopefully learn how to improve our methods so we don't do the opposite of what would be a better practice (buying on the way down - or worse case scenario, just HODLing)
I agree
