241  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PayWithUs - Virtual cards - NO KYC. Pay with Crypto. on: March 13, 2024, 06:35:41 PM
$100 USD is the minimum amount required to top up the main account, not for the card. Each new card is issued with a $10 balance and incurs a cost of $30. Thus, you can either create 3 cards, each with a $10 balance, or create a single card and top it up with the remaining funds.
Yeah I watched that video and I still think that fees are much higher than for other virtual cards I used so far.
I registered and created PayWithUs account few weeks ago to test your service, but I never completed it.

My concern is the billing name.
Other cards I used have option to literally enter any name you want, so both card companies allow that for virtual cards (with some limits).
Issue is with name that can't be changed and some websites won't accept cards that have different name.
I wouldn't really argue about legality of anything this days.

242  Other / Archival / Re: 🍁 [banned mixer] - Create your own BTC business / Become an Investor 💲 on: March 13, 2024, 06:25:24 PM
Hi all! We have seen how some projects organize raffles. Would you like to see something similar from us?
Raffles are great, especially if reward is going to be Bitcoin.
I have nothing against raffles with physical items (hardware wallets, cards, etc) as reward, but many forum members don't want to participate because they want to protect their identity and personal information.
There is no shipping, delivery or customs issues with Bitcoin Wink
243  Other / Meta / Re: Should speculation about satoshi's identity be subject to doxxing rules? on: March 13, 2024, 06:09:28 PM
So why do we allow rampant probing and scrutiny regarding the identity of satoshi?  I don't see any justification for them to be an exception to the rule.
You can't dox someone when you don't know his real identity, and everyone has the right to examine history and potential candidates for Satoshi.
This is called speculation, not doxxing.

I propose it's time for this rule to be applied properly, to end the double standard and to ensure no one is attempting to dox anyone else when there is no valid complaint of a scam.
How about we first fix double standards and make permanent ban for members who made multiple threats to other members, and even reported other members to government officials with fake claims  Tongue

Nisu L-BTC i L-USDT totalno anonimni, tako da nema opasnosti da ih zabrane.

246  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: BitBox02 Experiences on: March 12, 2024, 05:58:01 PM
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think BitBox is the first hardware wallet that is adding Lightning Network support on their BitBox02 devices.
They are using static invoices with inbound liquidity from Breez wallet, but there is no need to create any additional backups.
This is currently in closed alpha stages, but I think we can expect to see official release later this year.
Few months ago they released a blog article about adding Lightning to BitBoxApp.

Check out few minute long video demonstration how everything works:

247  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New HW wallet announced: COLDCARD Q1 on: March 12, 2024, 05:48:04 PM
NVK always have the need to invent the wheel all over again, maybe he is hoping to sell more devices now, and other people can deal with new QR code system later  Roll Eyes
If he didn't live in his small eco chamber and block all the people in social media and everywhere else, he could actually hear other developers of software wallets and actual users.
Good luck everyone who took his bait and purchased his new gigantic q1 device  Tongue
Jus sayin.

248  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Foundation Passport Official Thread on: March 12, 2024, 05:37:34 PM
Big news for you all today -- say hello to our new home, https://foundation.xyz 🏠
Why choosing obscure .xyz domain?
I think having separate Passport HW domain or subdomain would be a good idea.

One question for you guys:
Are you working on adding support for using multiple seed phrases in the same time on one device?
More hardware wallets are supporting this, and I think it's a good idea to add it.

I had to post this here to show how ''serious'' keystone developers really are.  Tongue
Few months ago they posted fake open source license for keystone firmware, and they excluded Foundation Devices and Zach Herbet!
This was not open source, but they fixed it and remove that crap later.

249  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW talk on: March 12, 2024, 04:48:54 PM
Also, keep in mind this firmware has more limited wallet support options.
I already mentioned those supported wallets above  Wink

This is more than Keystone bitcoin wallets supported in multi-coin firmware, now Nunchuk and Specter are added.
I hoped they would release different new device with removable battery before halving, but I don't think that is happening now.
250  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW talk on: March 12, 2024, 10:28:39 AM
Keystone just released a new beta version of Bitcoin-Only Firmware for Keystone 3 Pro wallet, with bitcoin main network and testnet.
Note that once you switch to bitcoin-only firmware it is going to be impossible to revert back to the multi-currency firmware.
Supported wallets are Blue wallet, Sparrow, Nunchuck and Specter wallet.

New firmware can be download from official website and code can be verified on Keystone github:

251  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: March 11, 2024, 09:38:54 PM
We have found that a known .onion directory "dark.fail" currently lists an URL impersonating our service.
Isn't it obvious that this is a phishing website?
It has listed only bitcoin and monero with different service name.

We have stopped using Graphene OS some years ago after its founder strcat aka Daniel Micay revealed his conflictive and hostile personality against people who disagree with him.
I know about Micay and his weird behavior, but he is not active in public anymore for a while after one of his last incidents, and that doesn't mean that GrapheneOS is bad.
It's open source so anyone can check the code, but I wouldn't suggest blindly trusting any operating system for smartphones.
I try to use smartphones as little as possible and only when I need to do it.

We currently use and sponsor DivestOS quite for a long time which is a solid alternative to Graphene OS. Its founder SkewedZeppelin is a long-time Graphene contributor and actually includes security patches from Graphene to his ROM, making it Lineage OS in the `usermode` build type (non-rootable) with Graphene OS security patches applied, which we believe an ideal OS for Android in terms of security and useability.
I tried DivestOS before but it didn't work for me, that doesn't mean I won't try again in future, and it's always good to have competition.
252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: March 11, 2024, 09:09:59 PM
I'm going to hold back at adding Safepal to the list until I get a chance to analyze it, but meanwhile I did add the PayWithUs card. It's a reloadable virtual card so a bit different from most of the others here, which are physical. They kindly allowed me a test balance of $10 for trying the card, and here are the places I've got it working on:
You should add information that this card is only Virtual, but seriously why adding them in first place on the top of the list?!  Tongue
And why not adding all the other virtual cards that are available for much longer than paywithus, they also have much lower fees and/or better terms?
253  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PayWithUs - Virtual cards - NO KYC. Pay with Crypto. on: March 11, 2024, 09:01:50 PM
I'm curious to know how this works. If I don't give KYC, then that means you're legally associated with every purchase I make, because Visa / Mastercard debit cards must have a cardholder name, and that'll be yours, out of necessity. Unless I have misunderstood how it works, but this is probably illegal in most parts of the world.
Billing address doesn't have to be the same as shipping address, in case you are ordering something physical.
All other virtual cards I used have fixed address, but this is the first time I hear that different name is added on card without user control.

Why is the minimum top up amount $100?
$100 is a very high amount, especially when we know there are alternative cards that have $15 minimum deposit.

254  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PeachBitcoin.com | P2P Bitcoin Exchange 🍑 #kycfree on: March 11, 2024, 08:55:26 PM
Guess it's time to bump this thread - Peach Bitcoin has been receiving a lot of updates in the past months, anyone interested in the service should definitely check it out. A great catch up of what Peach has been doing is covered on their Christmas blog[1]. They now accept a lot of currencies as well (not active in USA).
I thought that Peach app was only available in Europe, but I see they started adding a bunch of currencies from Africa and Latin America!
Great to see that Lightning and Liquid network are supported in Peach app, so there is no more excuse for not trading when fees are high, and you can use L-USDT as stablecoin.
They should really add dark mode switch, but otherwise I am impressed with progress they made so far.
255  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitMixList.org - Bitcoin Mixer List on: March 11, 2024, 08:38:57 PM
Does anyone know why ScamAdvisor is showing BitMixList as being "very risky"?  Huh
Probably because someone reported you  Tongue
Maybe that person is against any bitcoin mixers or he has something personal against you.
I wouldn't pay much attention, but you can always register and complete manual verification, if you want to pay for this.

PS
I just scanned bitcointalk forum and it has almost perfect score, but it was much lower results for some other random websites I tested.

256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would a vendor and a dealer connect with each other for BTC means of payment on: March 09, 2024, 07:09:11 PM
Or how would a vendor get connected with a dealer who wants to make payments to the vendor using Bitcoin if they both have to stay anonymous from their holdings?
You can get connected with some third party, and using Lightning Network payments would make it easy to hide your total Bitcoin holding.
Bitcoin Liquid Network also supports confidential transactions and with Aqua wallet you can pay both with Liquid and Lightning, or even is stable coins.
257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My tx is stuck on mempool for a week on: March 09, 2024, 07:01:02 PM
It's inscribe.app, basically they connect to evm wallet and generate a btc wallet and assign that wallet to my evm. i made a withdraw from that wallet and this happen to me.
Try to contact developers of that inscribe.app, maybe they can help you with this transaction.
I never used it so I cant help you more, but I would suggest to stay away from stuff like this or bridges, it's easy to lose coins using them.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Updates from the COPA v Craig Wright trial on: March 08, 2024, 07:35:50 PM
Craig was back on the stand on Friday and had to answer to the newly presented forged email evidence that he submitted mid-trial (or his wife did). Of course, Craig did what Craig does best and blame someone else but his excuses were even more incredulous this time. He claimed that someone had hacked into his emails and sent the email.
Apparently it was such an easy job  to ''hack'' email of such a ''smart ninja'' programmer like him  Tongue
It's one thing for someone to hack your system, but it's next level crazy for the same hacker to send email from that same account.

It's also much more than merely having his keys compromised. Several times he says he has lost access to his bitcoins and that they've been stolen by hackers, yet the coins never moved.
He is probably the guy with most fantasy hack attacks against him in the whole world, worthy getting him listed in Guinness World Records book.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing into Bitcoin as self pension on: March 08, 2024, 07:26:36 PM
Is it wise and realistic for someone in his early twenties to set up Bitcoin as  a retirement plan such that he continues accumulating Bitcoin from this time till he gets to his retirement age?
I think Bitcoin is going to be much better investment than any pension fund in the world, but people need to be patient and expect big changes and price manipulations.
In the same way they are manipulating price of precious metals they are going to try to do with price bitcoin, but in the same time it's going to be hard to buy it.
Pensions are a modern invention experiment and if I may add it is failed project by design.
260  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: NGRAVE hardware wallet? on: March 08, 2024, 07:10:56 PM
Hi new to the forum not to crypto and i was wondering if anyone had experience with NGRAVE Zero?  NOT asking if you particularly have one, just opinions on if its the best hardware wallet.  Heard rumors the Trezors have/can be hack but must be obtained physically? Thanks
No Ngarve is certainly not the best hardware wallet, whatever that means.
It is one of the most expensive hardware wallets, it has closed source code, and it doesn't have many standard options for wallets like coin control.
I would not use this as my primary wallet and I think there are much better and cheaper options available in the market now.

Yah i perordered one long ago and have never took it out of the plastic so its worthless if i dont use it, reviews for people that have actually used them seem to like them besides the app but on the 10+ air gaped wallets i spent hours researching yesterday same thing.
I am sure this is not going to be the first thing in your life that you ordered and didn't use much  Tongue
