Tivadar, what was your overall monetary cost with e-resident, company formation and getting crypto exchange licenses?

We're not doing a traditional ICO, however, we're actively looking for seed funding. Our philosophy is we want to launch our working product before a larger investment. We believe it's more transparent this way!

After two months of waiting for our payment gateway, Mistertango replied this:
"Apologies for the late reply. We have received a response from the regulator, unfortunately, your request for card acquiring payment collection service was not approved."
Mistertango, is this a reasonable reply? You advertise yourself as a crypto friendly bank. What is exactly against regulations on a crypto exchange with an official crypto exchange licence?
I kindly ask you to please reconsider! Waiting for your soonest reply.

Hey Mistertango! We are customers, and we applied for payment gateway on May 18th 2018 - helloCoin OÜ, ticket #36825. We did not get any reply from you for two full months now.  You've got the fully completed application document, I've sent several emails, no reply whatsoever. Can you please see about this issue? Thank you! |

Providers of a virtual currency wallet service Awesome news! Well done OP! And it certainly looks like this has happened as quickly and as easily as is "advertised"! Would you care to share how easy it was to provide documentation? Did you do this directly or did you hire legal assistance? As you can see from my previous posts, I was also considering this route, but the initial costs of engaging assistance was still a little too high for a 2-person SME (being the entity I'm trying to help). Looks like they also did it in 3 weeks, half of the time advertised. Big question: does this also allow you to passport the licence out to all EU-member countries? Smaller question: do you now need help with compliance (both AML whose directive comes into effect next year, and privacy (GDPR))? Hey! I did it myself, it was definitely serious work, I would say 5-7 full workdays to prepare the whole documentation, at least 10 days with the whole process, preparation, etc. No, I did not involve lawyers at all. I don't understand the passport question, sorry. Also I don't really know about the compliance, we just want to launch now, all other tasks comes later. Hope this helps! |

The idea is nice, but it is also a great tool to boost your own private holdings as a service provider by picking those coins for sale that you hold  Haha yes we also thought of that, but that's not the goal here.  Also we need to be quite big for that to work - there the risks are higher and the rewards are smaller in comparison. You say that's not the goal, but sometimes goals change down the road. It's all about incentives, and once they become large enough hardly any human being can resist to go for it. That's why we have blockchains today BonTonPlease, I agree with you 100% percent. If the volume and the spread will be large enough, probably it will be more profitable on the long run to be honest and transparent than to play games. But again, yes, when the incentives are large enough, so is the temptation. One solution to this is we'll offer our services to influencers, like a white label platform. Let's say you BonTonPlease have 100k Youtube subscribers. You can create a hellocoinmarket.com/BonTonPlease microsite, where your viewers could buy your favourite portfolio, the coins you personally picked. We provide the platform, you the coin selection and the buyers. 50-50% revenue share. This way we're not responsible for the content of the portfolio, just the technical background. Just check their tagline: "First Tokenized Cryptocurrency Index Fund" Most people have no idea what is tokenized, or crypto, or index fund. Our main aim is to be simple, understandable & friendly. I understand how inside from the cryptosphere sometimes it's hard to understand how important UX, user experience is for the average user.
