1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / is there another way to calc for S ? on: November 14, 2023, 02:48:27 AM
Hey,

Just wondering if there is another way to calc for S and rewrite this and remove X if applicable

s1=(((x*rr)+z1)%N)

Thanks

yes i agree 99% of them are just fake overall... not here to discuss the morality over it... just wanted to know if someone had the file granted its most likely fake due to the char count..

You might want to ask this question on thread about wallet.dat such as Don't buy "wallet.dat" files with lost passwords. EXCHANGE THEM!. Although i don't expect any answer, since when people sell/trade wallet.dat they only mention associated Bitcoin address, not wallet hash.

thank you.

your twitter link proves nothing.  and it wasnt circumstance on MY SHARED K data which moved 4 days later... and wasnt public data either.... In addition the attorneys agree and pundits who are smarter than us both... so could careless what nonsense you try to assert.  Its clear who stole it where else did he get the 100+ btc from cant even account for it.  So well see when the exchanges are subpoenaed, more so it was not MTGOX as all the funds were accounted for prior to this and marked.
More so who do you think pointed it out to tokenview   Roll Eyes but their assessment is incorrect.  That being said you being his friend i could careless what you say which my claim was legit so realize that and stop trying to say otherwise. What else are you going to try and be biased on? oh ya everything.... Mixers are money laundering maybe you need to look it up yourself ... and the cases of which the owners who were convicted of  doing that .. coinninja just to name one ... go do your own research.
More nonsense i see.. but opinions are like assholes everyone has one.. good thing there are lawyers to straighten things out.

So what if i was helping someone with this...better than spouting nonsense.

Anyways im done with this nonsense...       again thanks to everyone besides stalker which seems like a fitting name.  Roll Eyes
Have a nice day.

you want to open that can of worms... then  what about my 10k which was stolen .... some people have short memories and biased perceptions i see...

That wallet was never yours to begin with, so please stop with your nonsense, as nobody stole anything from you.
https://twitter.com/tokenview2018/status/1595631118694260736

Also let me point out to you  what about the mixers condoned on here which is money laundering...

Get your facts straight. Crypto mixers and money laundering are not the same thing.

Pretty simple question.  The owner was running it for over 1 year and had lost the file hence why im asking for it.

Hold on a second, let me make sure I have got this right: The owner lost their precious wallet.dat file, and now you are out here on a public forum, reaching out to total strangers in the hopes that one of them magically stumbled upon it? Are we talking about misplaced car keys here or what? I must say, your sense of humor is quite something!

not here to discuss the morality over it...

Why not?

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet does this hash go to? on: June 25, 2023, 08:08:19 PM
Well its fake.. so not the 1st person to crack it .. figured such by the char count
Didnt know the address as the file was misplaced... so only had the hash..

Anyways thanks to the people who answered it who wernt trolls Smiley
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet does this hash go to? on: June 25, 2023, 12:04:00 AM
Just as others crack wallets... and there are lists... this one makes no difference than those which are allowed in other threads.
38 chars is not a easy thing to do overall and just happened... so if its around great.. if not then oh well.. not holding my breathe on it.

yes i agree 99% of them are just fake overall... not here to discuss the morality over it... just wanted to know if someone had the file granted its most likely fake due to the char count..

funny.. as the entire forum condones such behavior.  Its claiming and am looking on behalf of the owner anyways. Never said it was mine ...

you want to open that can of worms... then  what about my 10k which was stolen .... some people have short memories and biased perceptions i see...

Also let me point out to you  what about the mixers condoned on here which is money laundering...or the countless threads on hashes like this so give me a break......

i digress.. save the troll comments.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet does this hash go to? on: June 24, 2023, 08:13:56 PM
No like the actual wallet.   i know its a core dat already.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / (nevermind) Which wallet does this hash go to? on: June 24, 2023, 07:38:38 PM
Does anyone know what wallet this hash goes too?

$bitcoin$64$8701c2734f8cfd16b14a9d22165d7acb4275ee46a3b28e4f3c1b22900e7796d8$16$d5fbf738dd9c8922$113073$96$a51b29d430e980f3e493f0a0713f55fae91b708d07460b7856110dfda7ae85850223e32f897a61bd4e752ff1e36bdb61$66$03faf62cf99b86878abcd0321e191841428e290dffdd824942df087c3b94933794

cracked it 38chars but cant locate the wallet.  Does anyone have it?

Thanks
10  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Recovering funds arbitrator request on: May 29, 2023, 09:21:43 AM
So for the people who wanted to defend alberto the low life who stole my legit claim to that wallet.

This  is from OCT 13 from one of his vids which goes over the shared K ... that he said he didnt know how to do after giving him MY DATA on nov 9th.
As he said he couldnt do it or didnt know how or whatever pathetic excuses he gave as i had proven and shown.... makes no sense and this just reinforces that he stole the wallet and funds from me as it was my data

since the value doubled since then i asked him to send me back the amount it was in nov 2022 and anyone with common sense would of done so .. as its a way out and he could of kept the rest.
Instead he wants to pretend otherwise... so i will be moving forward with legal action against him which there is more than enough proof... and that others here mislead and protected the theft.. when the wallet was mine along with the data.

Just wanted to show this for those who want to believe otherwise

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 8,000 bitcoin Lost because of the blue death screen. on: May 02, 2023, 05:55:21 AM
ya ya this is a old thread ...alot of oversight on this issue.

the 7200.7 firmware had major headaches let alone your hdd series overall. .. i had 4 of these that failed either due to the firmware or faulty pbc boards-chips.
out of all this time years and years... this guy posts in 2021 ummm ok..... but why didnt he just use google and type in the hdd and hit enter?
more so alot of the ppl who replied dont even address the communication/hardware ... but seem to cite driver issues in windows which is just wrong.  its a standard oem driver guys doesnt matter if he was updating win7 or not.

There were 3 ways to fix the drive, the reason the data was corrupt is due to the firmware. Also seagate got sued on these models 1tb to 3tb before they killed it and had class action payouts ...
the data will never be stable for the wallet.dat unless the firmware is updated, there is a old tool to jumper the drive and use a special sea firmware utility... or look up the pcb chip number and order another board to replace the CHIP not the entire board.

if you have a grinding or loud click where it gets stuck, and fails to read your head is crashing.  You can stop using it and send  it to a clean-room for them to move the data platters to a identical drive in most cases, but now your talking 5k...
or you can do the poor mans fix and that is to freeze the drive in a 3x ziplock with the air sucked out... then when its frozen after 3 hours plug it in up-side down and hurry and grab what you need...

So you can use whatever data recovery you want .. hell ill give you the stuff that really works with license but wont help you as you need to address the firmware for the drives ..crappy hardware that everyone and their mother knew about ...

when seagate bought IBM around then.. it was nonsense... as the issues came with them. IBM drives had the nickname the DEATHSTARS as they died randomly... sorry wasnt due to starwars nonsense.  Anyways scsi 320 was my friend still ..
so you have a few choices but i would of started with the firmware version -- updating normally if that didnt work then using the sea utility with the jumper circuit board plugged into the back of the drive yes there were instructions... but i also would of changed out ata cables and ran it on win7 ultimate not the crappy normal version and fully updated before you added the drive....
nix or win doesnt matter which one when its a firmware gnome kicking you in the balls, I/O Error or ICQ drops out ...hope your fav color is blue.

A blue screen is not death, its telling you its choking... also bluescreen on win7 was more ram issues or virus related... but never did i have any clients lose data on bluescreens except what was in cache as they were running a app or working on a file.
IF the dat was open when it crashed.. and now is is bad now, i have something which will make a new copy from it and render it good to be opened.... not a big deal. if it still is missing data then recovery deep scan and pulling all version of it would of solved it too....... ps i have this dat and seems fine to me...

 More so others who had bluescreens and lost dats back then was due to a person, hacking them and burning the system...any  intrusion/attack would of deleted win32 start up files, the pointer on the partition and then rebooted.
Just reading how so many other things are missed he could of done.... to me its totally firmware manf issue...  if dave didnt attend to it, you can get the file from me.. or if you want your hdd fixed i can send you the things i mentioned, i dont need them anymore .. or i can do it for you on the changing out chips or any good pc shop can too.

Then take that pc out back and smash it with a hammer and set it on fire.... This is why IBM went into colocation and blade systems less client lawsuits Cheesy

7200 firmware ALL OF IT is just a pile of garbage. i rather break it open and use the magnets for my fridge for fuck sake  LOL  ....   ok im done with the rant.. hope that rounded out things.
12  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum issue ... argh on: March 28, 2023, 01:04:13 PM
I'm curious: how did you get to this point? I see many dust transactions from last year.
If I had to guess based on OP's post history these keys are the publicly known private keys from puzzles, small keys (like 1), brainwallets, etc. which is why if you check out the timestamps on the transactions in the history, each transaction is usually spent immediately within seconds.

That's the usual reason why people come here from time to time asking weird things like 'how to mass-import keys into [X]', 'how to mass-export keys from [X]', 'how to mass-scan balance of addresses', and similar.
Those things are not usually required for regular Bitcoin users, so it's always suspicious when such a question is asked. Not because I have anything against them attempting to crack keys, but because I think it is pointless brute-forcing Bitcoin addresses, so I'm wasting my time trying to help them do it.

Don't forget the other rare reason, bad programming from years ago when BTC was under $100 and transactions were free.

I am probably responsible for a lot of dust being out there in 1000s and 1000s of addresses from me being a crap programmer trying to make things work a decade ago.

It is what it is. This case is different but at times it is legit.

-Dave

so .. there is no way to somehow group the 200k txns into some order so the dust can be consolidated into the 4 - 7 btc that its showing?
id have to say that sounds reasonable to what is occurring...
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Old txn formula - from to same address on: March 28, 2023, 12:39:10 PM
Sorry guys i should of been more clear...
not talking about a reuse aspect nor do i want people to argue over the question... i just recall something along these lines of old txns prior to change addresses being mandated.

Correct me if i am wrong .. but if you send payments to yourself without a change address, wasnt it possible to have a leak sorta speak..
Not referring to the reused R value which is not present...

or something where you use the rsz to narrow down the results.. etc ...
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Old txn formula - from to same address on: March 27, 2023, 06:17:52 AM
If you have a wallet where the txn is to the same address as the sender ... without any change address... what was the formula to be able to derive the key from it ?

So from 123abc --->  to 123abc  ...
If you had 2 of these you would be able to pull the key from it from what i recall...

This really doesnt apply now since change addresses are used but if anyone knows  the format i would appreciate it...

Thanks.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Any particular meaning to this? K=z/s and R=X on: March 06, 2023, 06:00:46 PM
in ECDSA

if :
K =0xdec38117d66f305ea76ee63b625c283d37b2bb144ad96c269ea72bce06b3e702

restult :
R=0x6f543f42b9a91e55e2eaabf3d52cbfe4555d3ef39248f1cbcbc6cbf5b1ad74e6

How is that relevant?  X is what you want to establish in the end .. so if R = X then i would presume that is applicable as its established form K

This is just a way i was playing around with .. more so i outlined what i was doing with

proving
S = ((Z + (X * R)) / K) % N
R = (((S * K) - Z) / X) % N
Z = ((S * K) - (X * R)) % N
X = (((S * K) - Z) / R) % N
K = ((Z + (X * R)) / S) % N

So where is the error in that? i dont see one...
16  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Recovering funds arbitrator request on: March 06, 2023, 05:38:03 PM
So since this was pointless to even request.... i want to know who to file a claim with the site from someone who inst biased.
OR does this need to be done via attorney ?

17  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Recovering funds arbitrator request on: March 06, 2023, 05:36:53 PM
Provide some links, where and how did this happened? Did anyone warn you? Who is this member?
~

Check his trust. I believe this is related to this case: I have been subjected to harassment

Basically, he asked user albert0bsd for assistance in cracking the wallet, and later accused him of stealing the funds even though he had no concrete evidence for it. As I said, whoever was right, cases like this should be solved through legal means and not through threats and bullying online.

I didnt ask him for assistance in cracking.. i asked him for help on conversion of my data which already established things on a shared K that i had for months before any of this..    So someone lying to obtain data  as he did citing he wanted to help is unacceptable.
More so if you had this done to you, i dont think you would be too nice to the person either. Its not bullying its wanting to resolve the transgressions and theft which occurred against me ... those are the facts.. he didnt crack jack shit other than taking what did not belong to him  and was not his data wallet or claim. \
So i might not be as popular as him but i should be treated the same as any other god dam member who has done this before me and i clearly i have not been. To assert he had any relevancy is not valid what so ever. Is this helping someone as eluded too or has any of this been actually fair NO ...
Atleast get it correct.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Signed txn - inserting scriptsig on: March 03, 2023, 05:00:20 AM
Just to clarify...   when i submit something signed it says its in mempool and just sits .. never is picked up for confirmation ...
It's your mempool, it's still subjected to other node's mempool if your transaction will propagate.
Try to search its txid in blockexplorers; if it's not there, chances that it's only in your node is high. (or a few nodes)

Quote from: MikeJ_NpC
Follow up question .. when you fundtransaction is this the same as singing it ?  As it indicates its signed at that point
No, it's used to add inputs to an existing transaction.
Mainly used for funding no input transactions created via createrawtransaction command.

I have checked mempool site its self and only says its waiting for it to appear which means i guess it hasn't made it to the chain... ?
besides pushing a raw on the various sites, is there another way to submit this ?

Okay just wanted to make sure about that. Regardless i do sign it afterwards.
So on both the fund and the sign comnmands.. it would add extra data on to the string correct?
I only see it add the data onto it when i fund it .. not when its signed despite it coming back as true... would this still be valid?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Signed txn - inserting scriptsig on: March 03, 2023, 04:30:34 AM
No its not related to that..

Just to clarify...   when i submit something signed it says its in mempool and just sits .. never is picked up for confirmation ...
Follow up question .. when you fundtransaction is this the same as singing it ?  As it indicates its signed at that point

Just trying to figure out what is the issue...
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Signed txn - inserting scriptsig on: February 28, 2023, 10:53:15 PM
So i have a signed txn with core but is missing the scriptsig which i do have....
Just wondering if there is anything else someone can recommend besides brain-wallet or coinb which never works correctly...
Is there something my python that will decompress it and allow edits step by step?  .... i cant post the transaction since its signed.

Thanks.
