Hi mate, please use the Nav-Blockchain.zip . You can get it here: www.navcoin.org/files/Nav-Blockchain.zip It is two days old. For the navcoin.conf resd this post please: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679791.msg15734854#msg15734854I tested it yesterday and had instant sync and connections. regards shahim

Debug.log says: socket recv error 10054 ... socket recv error 10054 Yes im trying to do that, but wallet don't syncs, it has 0 connnections for long time. Is there any official peers? Someone sent me 100 Navcoins through twitter. Thank you.
I investigated the coin, code, etc... and i bought 10btc in poloniex.
We'll see in the next months how it goes with the "anon network" this project. More money could come to it.
Regards.
WOW! 10 BTC! welcome on board! Hey, NAV is in POS mode. You can put your coins in a desktop wallet and earn a stake of 5% anual. Congrats!

I never saw a developer more active than XVC-devel

There may be others, but im confident that the major players are in this list.
Ethereum is not on this list, because its already hit $1 Billion despite it dropping back under.
Litecoin also went over 1 Billion USD in late 2013 so it should be also removed from the list by the same argument. Are you sure about that? My records show about 600 million.

Wasn't the Bitpay solution the one where there's no negative incentive for continuously inflating the block size over time? I haven't really spent any time examining any of the adaptive block size proposals, but it's obviously not as simple as just coding up something that sounds logical if you're unable to identify all the various game theory and attack vectors involved.
I've never seen a proposal other than mine that had working code. Fixed block sizes "by design" are attack vectors. You cannot keep growing the block size, this does not work as it is nothing more than a "fixed variable" since it only grows. If transaction's grind to a halt you end up with 100 MB blocks that could be targeted. I've solved the problem in a deterministic way that does not break consensus rules and XVC is moving forward with it so we never have to think about it again.

Hi.
Anyone could tell me how much coins are producing SIA each day?

Hi guys.
Are we going to see Sia breaking 39 sat this time??

almost 70btc volume, that's more than 700.000 vnl! Almost 50% rise in 24 hours and it`s so quiet here...
It's so quiet here because you can get all up-to-date information from twitter/github and official forums. Also some people might be still frustrated after unofficial thread got closed. John is against pump/dump price troll talks, so... 90%+ of discussion just vanished.

Did you asked in the official forum? please link me your question, maybe i can help you. Regards @JohnConnor
Someone has mentioned about changing the minning algo. Is it true?
Because IMO the best way, would be possibility of minning only by GPU.
I don't answer technical questions on BCT. Please use the official forums or forum.bitcoin.com/vanillacoin. Thank you for your support. you don't answer, but you delete posts very fast. It's only confirms my thoughts from deleted post Man, isnt it quite obvious what he wants? He wants the tech discussion to move elsewhere. He guided you in what to do, but i dont see your question on the official forums, why dont you try and see if you get an answer over there.. There are plenty of other non-self-moderated forums such as forum.bitcoin.com/vanillacoin and vanillatalk.org Thank you for your support. I was mining when this coin started but it is not an good coin anymore for me. Fanboys are attacking ppl for anything. People dont get answeres to their questions. This thread is selfmoderated but still ppl don get answeres to their questions. No coin is better than the weakest link. A coin is good if many are using it. You can make the best code but it dont matter if ppl get scared away from it. I know that you like to code and people are distractions. This coin is going nowhere if it ends up just to be used by a small group that only cares about the price and not the technology behind it.

Yes, i read something in irc about it, to change for cpu & & gpu mining, because fpga isnt profitable due to New x4 increase in the price For now you can also use fpga, but I think John is considering changing the algo to stop fpga farms soon.
I agree about SP's they are a much better way to generate VNL. But adding miners is also good for the network.
Removing FPGA mining sounds like a reasonable solution considering the current issues with large farms. Did John make a post regarding stopping Fpga mining in this forum or somewhere else?
