I'm also curious to hear if this was resolved.  Any update?

bfgminer -o http://pool.itzod.ru:3333 -u dkuhlman_1 -p fakepassword

Do I have the bfgminer syntax set optimally?
3  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6 TH/s] pool.itzod.ru - RSMPPS/LongPoll/JSON API/Websockets/No Invalids on: September 20, 2013, 06:53:12 PM
wait till pool solves a block

Looks like the pool solved a block recently.  Smiley

Now I show some numbers under current rewards with a paid sum of zero.  How do I actually get this BTC?  (sorry if this is a dumb question)
4  Bitcoin / Pools / [n00b] New miner questions on: September 19, 2013, 01:12:07 PM
I just started mining and thought this would be a good pool to join.

bfgminer -o http://pool.itzod.ru:3333 -u dkuhlman_1 -p fakepassword

is this the correct syntax?

I've had it running overnight, the active worker shows up with an average hash rate around 60000, but the rewards page shows zero rewards.  What am I doing wrong?

It does have the option to switch it from bfgminer to cgminer.  I've tried it both ways with various mutations on the syntax.

I just tried it again and had to stop and restart the miner.  Did I just lose all the progress I've made over the last twelve hours?
8  Bitcoin / Mining support / [BOUNTY $5] [n00b] Setup BFL Single in a mining pool on: September 19, 2013, 04:58:26 AM
Ok, I have a few questions.  I just received a BFL 60Ghz Single on almost exactly my one year order anniversary date. Yay...

I installed the Easy Miner software and it appears to be mining.  I keep seeing messages like this on the logs tab:

[2013-09-18 23:28:43] Accepted xxxxx BFL 0i pool 0 Diff 26/16] So I assume that means it's mining.  Right?

On the settings page under automatic payment options, I selected "Bitcoin Wallet" and put in one of my addresses.  Under Pool options "load balance pool & server" is checked with a pool priority of 1) Eligius 2) Eclipse MC 3) Others.  Mining Kernel is bfgminer

First question: I've had this thing running all day and don't have any BTC.  The earnings statistics on the pool mining page all show NA and there is no BTC in the address I have on the settings page.  Am I doing something wrong?  Do I need to wait 24 hours? Whats the deal?

Second question: I was doing some research on mining pools thought pool.itzod.ru looked pretty good.  There are no fees and they share transaction earnings.  What else should I be looking at?

So far I have been unable to get pool.itzod.ru working using the manual mining option on the settings page.  This is what I have typed in:

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.itzod.ru:3333 -u fakeusername -p fakepassword -I 9

When I try to start mining with that text on the manual mining line it fails to start and all I see on the logs page is "ind the path specified" which I assume means they are unable to find the path to something.

Is pool.itzod.ru the right pool for me?  If so, how do I get it working in Easy Miner?  If you're able to answer all of my questions I'll send you $5 USD worth of BTC.  Thanks!

The meeting in April was a little soft on attendance due to the weather, but last month it was awesome.  We had around 20 people show up, several of whom brought beer.  There was a range of people, as you'd expect, from those who had just heard about it to a merchant that has transacted hundreds of Bitcoins for his business; and everyone in between.

We're having another meeting this Sunday August 18th in Edina.  This is our first meeting on the south side of town but it should be a great one.  We're meeting in a state of the art classroom at video conferencing company.  You can find the specifics here:

We'll be having another Meetup in September, probably in Columbia Heights if that's more convenient.  Either way, we'd love to see you there.

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Problem with blockchain.info - what should I do? on: August 02, 2013, 10:00:58 PM
Create a new blockchain.info account and restore it from your wallet backup.  Next time write down the authenticator's secret key.

Thanks for the advice.  Does restoring from a backup restore the wallet from where it was when the backup was taken, or does it look at the blockchain and restore the entire wallet?  The backups I have weren't necessarily taken right before I lost access.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Problem with blockchain.info - what should I do? on: August 02, 2013, 04:34:03 AM
I've been storing some of my BTC in a wallet at blockchain.info.  I have an Android phone with Google Authenticator and had two factor authentication setup on my blockchain.info wallet account.  Everything was well and good, then my phone died, and I lost access to the blockchain.info account.  I've tried doing a "reset two-factor authentication request" with blockchain.info.  Twice. Now I'm going on two weeks and haven't received any response from them other than "click here to validate your request".  Is there anything else I can do to get back into my wallet?  I had the account configured to backup the Wallet to either Dropbox or Google drive, one of which contains some .json files; but I'm not sure what to do with those and\or if it will solve my problem.  What should I do?  What is the expected response time from blockchain.info requests such as this.  Any advice?  Thx
