The only one losing BTC is the same admin that got stuck in a botnet and lost the FTP password. thats why the botnet spreader(not hacker.....) released the Datepase becouse its useless without the salt K STOP WORRYING |

Well first off, dont worry to much about it, its much of work do de-crypt Salted-md5 if you dont have the salt.

Hi guys, i was running my 5870 fairly stable at 1ghz, my temp was 79c and was getting 440-460 hash on 185 memory clock. I restarted mymachine after a virus check, now i cant startup windows 7 without it crashing. It does it around the time the gadgets come up, and also ccc wont startup either, after changing to default clocks using the amd clock tool i still cant startup. When it crashes i get artifacting around the mouse and top of screen. tried safe mode reinstall of ccc and drivers, but every time i get a 'failed to load detection drivers' error. What can i do? has my card had it, i mean it seemed all well and good, now i cant even use my pc without safe mode!!
*i just done a registry clean and still same problems!!
Windows without CCC = Safe mode Safe mode = No GPU load Try diff GPU. if stil same then re-install the computer. |

With 3x 6990 you would have to use linux.
windows only suports 4 GPU's

i know u cant crossfire 6950+5850.. i was thinking about puting the new GPU in another Computer that would run 24-7 since i already have a 6950.. Concidering the 6950 since i could always crossfire it with the one i have right now if bitcoin mining dies |

Well this is a no-brainer -- for significantly less cost, the 5850 has roughly equivalent performance. That is if you only care about mining. If you're also a gamer, the 6950 is the more attractive card. Keep in mind that, with the currently exponentially rising difficulty level, you are only going to get a few months of worthwhile mining out of this card before it's not even worth running anymore, so what are you going to do with the card after that?
Gaming would be my answer.
Well i curently own a 6950 2gb, wich iv been doing some mining on. The card im buying would be dedicated to mining 24-7 Maby buy a 6950 and put it in the other rig, when mining dies out ill just put it in crossfire with my other card? |
