The Icarus Project Update: As of right now, there are more aspects to this project to be revealed. We are very excited to reveal these details! Announcements will be made in the ANN! So... What's This Project About? We are a team (2 at the moment) of people dedicated to making a change. We know, we know, you hear that all the time, but hear us out. What we want to do ultimately, is help people, and to elaborate further on this statement, we have a mini-road map of words, just for this PRE-ANN: Short Term: We would like to implement an application that does data analysis on coins that either submit to the platform, or coins that the community would like us to research. We want to help existing (and future) investors invest with confidence, both safely and wisely. We hope that these efforts help break the stigma around the crypto-space, and ultimately bring in newcomers, which would in turn help everyone in this space. The more people we can educate and put at ease, the more projects that could really make a difference, will get funded. We believe that all the projects that honestly want to do good and make a difference, should not be overshadowed by those who chose to take advantage of their investors and exit with their money. It's still in the prototype phase, but our ideas for the platform are way beyond that. The platform would not tell you what to invest in, but it would calculate and weigh the risks of investing in that particular project by analyzing social presence, verification of the developers, the idea behind the project, and much more. TL;DR For Short Term: -Build a community to educate existing and new investors on safe and wise investing to minimize the risk of investing in potential scams

We plan on soon applying to make our team an actual business in the physical world, because we feel as being a legitimate business would give us benefits we wouldn't have as a crypto-only project. We have talked about it extensively, and we have agreed that if we ever got to the point where this sustains us enough that we could quit our day jobs, and just help people from our community, and around the world; we would do it in a heartbeat. We believe that blockchain technology could help charities and non-profits help a lot more people at a faster rate, by speeding up how quick the funds get to those areas, and how large of a scale they can reach. We plan on soon applying to make our team an actual business in the physical world, because we feel as being a legitimate business would give us benefits we wouldn't have as a crypto-only project. We have talked about it extensively, and we have agreed that if we ever got to the point where this sustains us enough that we could quit our day jobs, and just help people from our community, and around the world; we would do it in a heartbeat.
