1  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 09, 2022, 09:50:34 PM
This is excellent content.

People think that inflation is something of the past, but they don't realize just how hard it is for central banks to balance priorities perfectly and make sure that there is no rampant inflation but still stable economic growth.

The centralized model is so outdated. There are fiat currencies in inflationary crises every second year. Why does no one educate kids about this in school?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will funds rotate into privacy/anonymity coins? on: January 09, 2022, 09:32:53 PM
I wonder when will people start to realize that coins like ZEC and XMR are currently undervalued?

When people can see the rich list addresses transparently and/or you need millions of dollars to be a validator (which puts you in the public limelight), I do wonder if the smart money and whales will start flocking into these more privacy centric chains after the current run is over.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I don't think that people will adopt ZEC on a mass scale any time soon just because of the tax that is imposed by the founders on the network for quite a few years. Perhaps after that taxation regime elapses, there will be a bit more interest.

XMR is a different story and I actually think that it's undervalued and will go up soon.

I remember that theymos used to say that XMR is one of the only coins that BTC can learn from as a currency - and he's absolutely right.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 09, 2022, 09:17:14 PM
This is not looking good for world economies.

Pretty much every single country is on the verge of a serious inflationary crisis and people are not panicking because they trust the government too much.

The current sell-off in fiat hedges like BTC make absolutely no sense for this reason. It is essentially the only safe haven other than precious metals that you should be parking your funds in.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it always safe to connect your (metamask) wallet? on: January 09, 2022, 09:08:19 PM
There are so many websites these days that require you to connect. I've been connecting other wallets with low balances to test things out, but there doesn't seem to be much information around on what is good practice here.

My big balances are secured by Ledger so I suppose I don't need to worry about the coins simply being stolen without my approval, but what if I connect the Ledger to approve some coins and it steals other coins or uses the approval for something else. Is any of this possible?

When should I not connect to a website?

Whenever you find yourself in a scammy site, you should probably reconsider.

There have been instances where people have gotten their NFTs stolen from them because of the fact that they connected to phishing sites with their metamask wallet. So this is definitely no joke here.

But so long as you don't go out of your way to connect to scammy/phishing sites, you should be okay. Stay as viligant as you would be on Web2.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 08, 2022, 09:37:28 PM
Its been a very long time that I've been using to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary

I think that it's just the ease at which these projects can be created now that is catalyzing this increase.

It literally takes minutes for anyone to create a new ERC20 or BEP20 token on ETH/BSC and perhaps hours to create a marketing post/get it listed on Coinmarketcap.

I do think that new projects will stop as a result of the current market bleeding, or at least slow down, but that's probably one of the better things to come out of this bear market.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some questions about the Tron coin. on: January 08, 2022, 09:19:08 PM
I personally don't think that it's a great idea.

Justin Son has somewhat made an exit from TRON, being one of the most influential people in crypto.

Also, most DeFi projects are now heading to other platforms because TRON is not the only blockchain with cheap fees and fast transaction times anymore. There is not a lot of liquidity in the space, and right now it's being propped up by reputation alone. Sell when you can.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 08, 2022, 09:13:55 PM
All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that itís the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

If this drop fazes you then I don't think the crypto game is for you.

Crypto is all about long term holding and it makes zero sense for you to ruin your strategy just because of a short term dip.

In fact, this is the perfect time to accumulate more. Especially when established blue chip coins like BTC and ETH are on such a sale from their respective all time highs. It's clear that the industry will keep growing, just be patient.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 08, 2022, 09:11:20 PM
Hi, I'm a normie who finally got into crypto in nov 2021. But I don't get stable coins. When you sell your crypto, why don't you just convert back to fiat and put that fiat into your bank account right away? I worry about stable coins becoming un-pegged; this is a big concern for me; it's an extra worry that you don't have if you just convert back to fiat right away.

I can see using stable coins as a trading pair to purchase alts on a dex but I don't understand holding stable coins for longer periods of time like weeks, months or years as a store of value; to me this feels way too risky. What am I missing?

Might be different if you could do a lot of your every-day normal shopping with stable coins but right now you can't.

It's just way easier to day trade with Stablecoins.

You don't want to wait 2-3 days to make your moves because you've withdrawn the funds into a bank account and now have to wait for funds to clear back and forth. The crypto markets simply move too fast for that.

As to your concerns with custody, just don't use non 1:1 backed tokens like USDT which employ fractional reserve. USDC/DAI etc. should all be fairly safe to use.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀|🔥LUT Lightpaper is Launched|⚡️Crypto Betting + Weekly Divs|⚽️🎮 on: January 08, 2022, 07:45:10 PM
25 hours has passed already since the withdrawal was created. This is a BEP-20 withdrawal, should it should not take long time.
Btw, the only way to communicate with support is to send an email to or to ask admins in telegram groups? As I did not find any support button on the page.

Damn, it's also quite a high fee to pay for the withdrawal as well, especially on the BSC network which has very low fees.

Happy to see that the representative is back active on this forum! One question: are you planning to lower the minimum bet on your in-house casino games and sportsbook? Right now it is 1$, which is pretty high.

@Toptort, hopefully you get your payment soon! Keep us informed.

I agree with this.

$1 minimum bet is way too much and just limits small players from playing. Even though they may not bring a lot of gaming revenue, they form the basis of the community at your site so it makes no sense to disincentivize them from playing.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is more important Hype or Utility? on: January 07, 2022, 11:12:43 PM
I'd say that community engagement is actually more long-term than people think.

If the community is engaged, then the token can really take off and hold its value just because of the increased demand and decreased supply from the true believers of a token.

For instance, think about zero-utility tokens such as Dogecoin or Shiba that is propped up entirely by community dynamics.

They are doing better than 95% of ICOs that claim to have utility. So there you go.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: January 07, 2022, 10:24:19 PM
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.

Not sure what Moonriver is?

But I think that MATIC/polygon definitely has potential to be a viable scaling solution on the ETH blockchain. It could be possible that most transactions get routed across the Polygon network instead of ETH mainnet in a couple of years.

Not a big fan of LUNA/terra but AVAX definitely has potential as well.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetGalaxy 2.0 Whitepaper Released - LAUNCH IN JANUARY 2022! on: January 07, 2022, 09:43:01 PM
Are there any previews of what exactly BetGalaxy 2.0 will look like?

Otherwise you are essentially just selling a promise that you will deliver a better product than what is currently the case, and that is obviously not a great value proposition to potential investors that are looking to buy your token.

Have you considered the regulatory issues that may surround ramping up your operations and issuing a token?
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: | The world of High Stakes! 👑 on: January 07, 2022, 09:31:11 PM
Site looks awesome.

I was just wondering with regards to your Steam deposit method, what exactly can you deposit? CS:GO and Dota skins?

There's a fiat wallet inside the steam wallet. I believe that's the mode of payment he is accepting. Skins and other steam item has a separate marketplace or casino to use it as bets especially for the e-sports game. I'm still not exploring the casino but it will be good they will accept steam items as bet and use the average market value of it.

I don't think that's the case.

Seems like that it's a skin deposit mechanism just like most of the other sites in the space.

The fiat wallet in steam can't be used to transfer funds across different accounts. You can, however, buy skins from the steam marketplace and trade it (although be aware of any holds).

@OP is there any plan if Steam continues their crusade against skin gambling to abandon this method of deposit?
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 07, 2022, 09:17:12 PM
They wouldnt really care at all and its true that as long they dont make some legal lapses or violation then it would really still to continue since they do know that theres nothing that would happen to them despite of

being that deceptive in terms of marketing as long on whats been mandated on them then they would surely follow as long they do make out money then that what matter the most.

As a gambler or viewer then you should be at least using your own common sense on judging off things.

I think that there are actually legal issues surrounding these streamers.

E.g. they seem to be operating from the U.S. when gambling in the U.S. on these sites is actually forbidden.

Plus, it is forbidden for services like Roobet to offer their product to U.S. citizens. Given that they are directly sponsoring these streamers there could be an even deeper hole there.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULDN'T THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOKENS BE MORE SUPERVISED ? on: January 06, 2022, 11:58:41 PM
You can't have both accessibility and zero regulation.

If you want the masses and the unbanked to access crypto and DeFi, then you just have to forego a lot of the protection that the regulators offer.

Otherwise, you'd be taking a step backwards in terms of the ease of people getting into the space without KYC/AML tying them up unnecessarily.

If you do your due diligence, none of this should even be an issue. Scams are so easy to spot.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💙 💙 - More than 2000 Titles | Crypto + Fiat on: January 06, 2022, 11:52:25 PM
Congratulations on launching!

I think that the design can definitely be improved, right now it feels somewhat off given that you would want to present a sleek and responsive experience as possible.

However, I do like the fact that you are offering as many gaming options as possible and already have reviews lined up with reputable members of the forum. I think that definitely helps with the marketing efforts.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government loses control of the financial system, we have a fall back on: January 06, 2022, 11:46:59 PM
Lol, if the Turkish lira is ousted as the national currency I think everyone would rejoice.

The fact is that there are a lot of countries that are currently operating a hybrid/foreign currency based monetary system, e.g. a lot of African countries have adopted USD as their sovereign currency as opposed to issuing their own.

That's actually quite smart given the fact that their own financial management system is just too incompetent.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰🎰 | Feel the All Slots Club Difference!🌟 on: January 05, 2022, 03:53:17 AM
Hey Kyraishi!

Thank you for your suggestion! You can find all the Bonus T&C's under Bussiness Terms - Bonus Rules in our footer, but we will definitely look into making the terms more clear on the actual bonus page. Smiley

Thanks for your response. Sorry that I missed it earlier.

I personally think that it would be a good idea to simplify these rules quite a bit. I understand the need to protect your business but using convoluted rules certainly drives players away from using the bonus (which is precisely the opposite of what you want to happen).

You want rules to be easy to understand and transparent to show that you are legit.

Site looks awesome.

I was just wondering with regards to your Steam deposit method, what exactly can you deposit? CS:GO and Dota skins?

If you can do the esports sector well I think that you will be immensely profitable.

There are a ton of bettors that are going into the esports sector right now but highrollers don't have anywhere to go. You can truly become the disruptive player in this area.
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinone stopping withdrawals to unverified external wallets. on: January 02, 2022, 08:14:07 PM
Seems like that they're trying to move towards a model that is followed by Robinhood/Paypal whereby there is no way of getting your BTC out of the system?

Hopefully everyone realizes that this is a terrible idea and takes the control over their funds out of the user's hands.

They could literally do whatever they wanted with your coins while they are deposited, e.g. lend it out with fractional reserve. In fact, they wouldn't even need any BTC reserves as they will never have obligations to cash you out to your own wallet. This move will appease regulators for sure, but also go against decentralization completely.
