Agree. If the coins are not sellable it may mean the ICO was a scam. I hope that the coins will hit the exchanges and the team just waits for better times, but it's a slim chance. |

Long-term investment is not really easy to decide, you really need to look for a good coin where you think will give you profit in the future. You really have to spend a lot of time to see how great this coin is. Some people who still invest and hold there coins with a high value now where so lucky. They bought it with a low price before but now its value really high. I also wanted to invest that's why I keep on seeking a good project now.

For Me its Ripple thats why i hodl it from longtime and no plan to sell soon, You better do your own research before investing any ot these, take time and read their whitepaper and road map.
I love Ripple because it facilitates international payments. It’s the third most valuable crypto in the world. It did crash in April but it doesn't make it worse than any other coin. |

If you compare with the prices of December 2017, then Ethereum has a lot to grow, so you can buy it for the long term.
ETH was above $1000 this January, now it's just above $400, but it's just following the trend and I believe that when the market stabilizes a bit, if at all possible, ETH can come back to its Jan 18 price. |

That is not the best time to sell it . It's pretty hard to overlook but history has proven that holding for such a long term brings more profit .. if at all you want to sell, don't sell at its all time low .
I agree, the worst thing you can do is panic sell when the coin is dropping. Hodling it proved to be the only way not to lose the investment. |

Honestly crypto industry is not dangerous but when it comes to the people sorround it who is so abusive and that is the thing that it makes us dangerous. I think what is meant by the question is why crypto is not widely adopted. I guess governments fear the crypto because it can be used to finance crime and terrorism. Decentralization is always dangerous for centralized system. |

I love your view on patience, but one fact remains, no matter how patient you are if the project you invest in is a scam, I am sorry you may never get to drink from the milk of the Lion. Some coins are either shit coins or a scam project altogether.
My advice for potential investors is done your research before you invest in any coin, second have patience as already stated. And if you choose to invest don't just be a random investor, also be part of the project. For me, it has been bitcoin and some great coins and it has been beneficial to me.
I agree that patience is not always the key. We can patiently wait for shitcoins, then what? I think research matters more than patience. |

Don't despair! Every bounty hunter is faced with the scam projects, loss of tokens. It's inevitable. There is no better advice to find good projects. You have to develop a system of search and analysis. You can follow bounty managers, experienced bounty hunters.
Most of the times beginners are lost because there is so much contradictory info that they get. They don't know who to listen. But one thing is clear: without knowing the water you don't jump right in. |

I think the strong who will survive, the weaker altcoin will die. for me a strong altcoin is only ethereum, the rest is weak. altcoin is strong and resilient with market prices rising and falling while the weak will be forever down. ethereum has a strong community.
I agree that weaker coins will die and I agree about ETH, but I believe in future of more altcoins. I don't think that ETH will be the last altcoin standing. |
