1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold Debate Settled on: December 19, 2020, 03:12:57 PM
That's a great interview in the link btw. Highly recommend. Wozniak's comments about the evolution of ground penetrating radar coupled with more efficient methods being devised to mine gold. Contrasting with bitcoin's mining being statically regulated by algorithm. That has always stuck with me as one of the smartest things said in the gold vs bitcoin debate.
After years of debate BTCitcoin is pulling ahead of gold on short term charts.
Can we announce bitcoin the winner. Or would it be premature.
I'm really glad to know that we finally won't hear more of this "debate" which was more of a endless argument.
That doesn't matter what is the result of this debate, to be honest.
I still see this as a speculation about something we don't know yet.
It will take another 10 years of bitcoin observation to draw a decent conclusion
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: November 02, 2020, 06:18:53 AM
Top 10 DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on coinmarketcap are in Negative/Loss 20 Hours change.
What do you guys think, time to invest or it's finally dead?

Are you new to crypto?
Because this isn't something extraordinary, it happens all the time, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, yet they still aren't doing as bad as most of stocks.
Reconsider your views on correction of market.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: October 01, 2020, 04:49:31 AM
UNISWAP is hot news in cryptocuurency, it can give birth to new and more famous coins and now UNISWAP is one of the coins for the coin trade which is very popular for now, many coins are joining the UNISWAP exchange.
Do you really believe it has any future?
It was over $8,00 on its peak, now its floating above $4,00 level.
Its been like week or two since the airdrop and people already sold most of their UNI holdings and I personally sold most of it.
But I have faith in it so I saved couple hundreds of UNIs
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 11, 2020, 02:36:06 AM
What do you guys think, time to invest or it's finally dead?
First of all, weren't we all aware of crypto being extremely volatile and non-consistent thing all along?
Why do you expect something to be able to grow like 200%+ overnight and then not experiencing a rapid fall?
For me it is a good time to buy some of those, you can fomo sell if you want to
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 27, 2020, 08:19:48 AM
I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
The possibility will be there even if crypto will become legal - laws and regulation can be committed to and can be cancelled as well.
However, I feel like as time passes by crypto became more of a strong trend that will flood over every country there is eventually, so its more of a question when crypto will be legal not "if"
6  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: August 18, 2020, 08:35:31 AM
Many countries are taking various steps to control Covid 19 but no one will be able to control it until the vaccine is available. Everyone is relying on vaccines but Russia is trying to invent a vaccine and if successful it will soon return to its former place. Business, trade and industry will be opened and the country's economy will grow with saplings. Soon everything will change.
Imo a lot of countries are trying to invent one, but not many of them are doing it publicly.
But the question is - even if we get the vaccine and everyone will be vaccinated, will the world come back to the "normal", the previous state it was before all this happened?
And my sincere answer is no, time spent home and time spent apart from other people, a lot of industries changed a lot and all this won't "allow" world to be in the previous state.
In other words, we'll have to figure out how to deal with this new state of the world and where to go from there
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: July 28, 2020, 07:11:19 PM
you can still buy cheap WRX  Smiley
Is there any info how could it be that market cap just went straight to the moon and the price of WRX did not grow, but even dropped a bit?
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do during the lockdown on: July 02, 2020, 07:54:41 PM
I'd recommend to start any new hobbie you were delaying because of lack of time
Now you have no excuse and gotta try it  Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: June 28, 2020, 07:03:42 PM
I guess crypto will never go to zero especially the useful ones because if crypto will go to zero I think it will never been made in the first place, it is implemented because of the use of blockchain technology so I think the only crypto that will go to zero are shitcoins which are no use at all.
It will only go to zero if every person will totally abandon using it.
In any other case - crypto will has its value and somebody will try to buy/sell it (no matter how low the price is - it is a currency and it is used)
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: June 22, 2020, 09:06:31 PM
Why not live without bank, after higher technology and faster of internet way will give positive effect to make many countries forget their bank and use currency digital as payment way, but now still have country not support with bitcoin as legal currency payment and keep bitcoin as illegal transaction.
I guess govs of developed countries won't adopt crypto as fast as it did developing countries just because they're doing fine and afraid to stumble upon crypto's volatility.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: June 04, 2020, 05:00:48 AM
myetherwallet.com or Metamask is the best Ethereum wallet, you can also store all ERC20 tokens on myetherwallet.com or Metamask. These wallets are decentralized and you have full control of your wallet. As you are a newbie i recommend you to learn about how to secure your wallet and your fund as soon as possible.
These both are pretty good, but using them is like one of the steps towards security of your funds.
If you truly care about security you will end up with something like paper wallet and/or cold hardware storage
12  Economy / Economics / Re: There's no way this is a "V-shaped" recovery... right? on: May 21, 2020, 05:13:54 PM
I don't believe at all in the "V shaped recovery".
I believe there is still quite a lot of risk off sentiment and this will prevail despite the coordinated efforts by Western central banks to print more money and support the various asset classes.
Isn't it a marvel when an entity can issue 'bonds' and the same entity can issue money to buy those bonds (because no one else is buying)?
Chances are crypto's has its own patterns of chart movement we don't even know about.
So it could be "W shaped recovery" or whatever there isn't
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: May 12, 2020, 03:22:55 PM
If looking at the Bitcoin chart to predict, I think tthe price of BTC will fluctuate next week. I will buy BTC before June and sell it in last year about 16k.
there are so many possibilities for bitcoin to actually not having that much growth that you expect.
I'd rather believe it peak til 13k and get back to 10k with some stability
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few thoughts, if you are starting today, these tips can be very valuable on: May 01, 2020, 08:21:20 AM
1. Don't invest in ICO projects anymore, they aren't attractive to investors again, most are scam and projects using ICO can take several years to complete fund raising

2. IEO is the best choice now, buy still dangerous on small exchanges, you want success? Go for IEO projects that pick top exchanges only
both of them promise to pay everything in time and to be up-and-coming, but at the end of the day you do reposts, you fill in personal information and they're gone
it is a loss so I don't invest or participate in any activity with young  ICO/IEO projects
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if you could trade btc as if it was 1 year ago? on: April 27, 2020, 07:07:10 AM
Whatever the scenario is i think buying btc is recommended especially from dips if you are true supporter of decentralized money, it can also be proven historically that the buyers are in huge profit if you average out the price, only buyers from last peak are in loss they will also be in profit after halving when real bull run will start.
there will be people who can't believe in btc in long term so they buy on peak and sell on dip.
apart from those people we all as btc buyers should be fine as we're heading to future
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2020, 03:55:32 PM
its yes because it is also a digital currency with a potential to minimize the volatility as a safebox of cryptocurrency which is commonly known as pegged, due to COVID-19 I think many investors also dive into stable coins use for digital payment for their daily needs.
However they do centralize funds in most of the cases so its not that all good about stablecoins.
I hope they could be better in the nearest future, and would be lovely if one great stablecoin would have an easy cheap way to pay with it through physical card.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: April 02, 2020, 09:38:19 AM
Most times a good project is not measured by it's trading price. But a good performing project should be trading at a good price. Majority of these projects are not communicating with their community and also not developing anything. The effect of this is very visible on the price. Bear market is affects every projecr with different range. But a good project will quickly recover after any dip
a good project is not measured by it's trading price, I agree on that.
However, I think a good performing project should be trading period.
Bad project could artificially cut the supply in order to get price higher, but that doesn't mean this project will be easy to sell/buy.
Liquidity means almost everything for cryptocurrencies (and currencies in general I'd say)
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: March 31, 2020, 11:08:05 AM
Corona virus destroyed any market even become a nightmare to economy. Well i think only few projects will begin in this situation. Investor will decrease the interesr on cryptocurrency is low. I think bounty this year same as years ago. Sometimes you make profit sometimes you not.
This one is a little bit different - people discovered how far they can go with remote technologies (and damn we can go far when we need it), moreover usd is in big trouble right now.
These two both factors combined can give crypto slight advantage climbing its spot on world market this year
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: March 19, 2020, 08:54:02 AM
Ther user who I mentioned on my post was now removed so they are clear with no more new members on their forum. So it becomes like a private chat room, cryptotalk is no more a forum?
It's more like a private forum, this is the only private forum I've known, this is because of people who wants easy money and I think it will stay that way for more months, most of the cities are lockdown and many people are looking for work at home job and they don't want avalanche of spammers in their website.
Closed online societies are went all way to the bottom almost every time, the history proves.
The members are less and less interested to built up or keep on with society they've made and it will slowly die eventually.
In case of cryptotalk there will remain some guys who still want to earn satoshis for posts and thats it
20  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: March 09, 2020, 09:39:50 PM
In my own personal opinion, it is impossible for bitcoin to lose it's dominance because a lot of people are putting most of their money in bitcoin than altcoins and a lot of people are depending on bitcoin, so if bitcoin will have a chance to lose it's value definitely every cryptocurrency in the market will also lose it's value.
You are quite possibly right, but chances are alts will overcome bitcoin in nearest decade or two.
Anyway bitcoin is and will forever remain as first crypto ever so it will hold its place forever
