When someone quotes your post, replies on your thread, or mentions you (like @mrvuit), you get notification on your browser or have a tab where user can check these notifications.
Do you understand?
I understood, it's quite difficult, I will remember this idea. Still thinking about it. Thank you for the idea.

@mrvuit could it be possible for you to implement a separate tab for alerts where user can see his mentions/post quotes/replies to his threads?
I still don't understand what you want. Is it similar to facebook timeline?

I have added it to my extension.

We encountered a problem, it got the error "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" when calling through javascript. If we use it, we will have to call through the proxy server.

That will be interesting to see, you might want to look at getting the exchange rate from somewhere like preev if they have an api (as they use an average for their pricing). I think mrvuit can get it from Bitmex.It seems they do not provide BTC price, I only found ETH, EOS ...

Great work! What you think about adding a tool to count posts written in various threads? Most of us are hired to advertise websites by our signature. Those are giving us various requirements like: min 10 post in gambling max 30 post min 20 posts post in boards xxx, yyy, zzz do not count. Etc. Because of that i need to count my posts in various sections every few days to check if i fill those requirements while doing my everyday routine (answering questions in recent created topics, answering posts from watchlist etc.) or I miss one of requirements and i need to create 1 additional post in certain thread. After 1.5 year on BTT forum this post counting become pain in the ass for me. This counter could look like that: This week counter: meta: 5 posts gambling: 10 posts local: 15 posts xxx: xxx posts time until reset xxx hours
Let me know what you think about it I can do it as you describe it, however, it doesn't fit my extension. I can create it on a website, just enter userId and the result will be displayed.

I have completed requests 1 and 3 in version 2.4. With issue 2, I need time to learn how it works, I will implement it in upcoming versions.

Good work!
Looks like you are working non-stop on this extension, but people don't comment so much. I think they need to test it for potential bugs before major releases
It seems that people don't care much about this extension. Maybe they were satisfied with the current Bitcointalk.

I heard Ethereum will be updated to Ethereum 2 in early 2020. I would appreciate you if you answer my questions. 1. Will there be a fork like we had for bitcoin cash? Or we will have to deposit our Ethereums to an address to get ETH2 in a new address? Or our Ethereum will be updated automatically? 2. What do you think about regulations? Is it possible that we will be forced to pass KYC to get ETH2?
- Never have KYC - Most likely you don't need to do anything

A friend of mine lost $ 50000 after Bitconnect collapsed. I think the reason for the collapse is because the new investment is not enough to pay interest for old investors.

It is an easy-to-remember domain name, but it is not so special. You can use it to make blogs, track prices ...

(Click on the image to see more clearly)
You should not capture whole page, that will make screenshot image too blurred. I think you can screenshot whole page, then crop to use only part of your extension display, or a bit more around list of merit senders in OP. The image will look better. Furthermore, you can use following option to adjust your screenshot. People who don't install your extension, will don't know how it looks like, and they won't give your merits for your works. What a pity when you do great works, but are not recognized because bad-quality screenshot. Thank you, I will remember.

I don't know if it was done before, couldn't find anything like that, so I made a tiny script that sums all mertis of a post and displays it before individual merits Like this: // ==UserScript== // @name Bitcointalk Post Merit Sum // @version 1.0 // @grant none // @include https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=* // @run-at document-end // ==/UserScript==
;[...document.querySelectorAll(".td_headerandpost")].forEach(post => { try { let sum = [...post.querySelectorAll(".smalltext i > a")] .map(e => { return parseInt(e.nextSibling.textContent.match(/\((.*)\)/)[1]) }) .reduce((acc, e) => acc + e, 0) if (sum > 0) { let sumElement = document.createElement("span") sumElement.textContent = `Total merit: ${sum} | ` post.querySelector(".smalltext i").prepend(sumElement) } } catch (e) { console.error(e) } })
I added it to my extension, are you willing? It will be updated in the next version. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178297.msg52245025#msg52245025

One more thing. Pins post option gets enabled by itself, even if I turn it OFF.
Thank you, I fixed it.
