1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CPU] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, brand new, super fast! on: April 10, 2018, 11:30:03 PM
Can please somebody help me out to extract the best performance from my rig?
E-5 2660 v4 @2GHz x2
I can clearly see that there's a lot room for performance as the CPU tab on the Windows task manager only Top 60%
I ran the process twice

Monero
jce_cn_cpu_miner64.1.exe -o stratum+tcp://Pool -u Address -p x --elevate --variation 3 -t 27 --auto
jce_cn_cpu_miner64.1.exe -o stratum+tcp://Pool -u Address -p x --elevate --variation 3 -t 27 --auto

The Affinity jce_cn_cpu_miner64.1.exe run on the CPU 0 only and jce_cn_cpu_miner64.2.exe run on the CPU 1

Definitely I'm getting better performance but if possible would like to extract more.

Thank you

yescryptr16

Same. But the problem looks like that I'm not using cpuminer-opt (as isn't compatible with Phenom II procesors). Looks like the algo isn't supported.

Tried with cpuminer-multi-rel1.3 by tpruvot [cpuminer-x64.exe] but isn't supported either

Thank you. Really appreciate it. It works

Your qt wallet is error.

When the wallet try to sync, it's shut down it self

Hi,
do you have administrator rights on your computer? What OS do you use?

Same here.
Windows 10 x64
Administrator rights.
Tried several settings and always the same, crashes when trying to load the wallet file.
Tried compatibility mode.
Installed the setup version, everytime deleting the app folder settings

Please send us debug.log file (located in data directory) to info (at) elicoin.net ... we'll take a look at it. Thank you and sorry for the trouble.

Done!

Magi hardfork has been complete it, when the pool will be running?

Fork hasn't happened yet. They already set a block so it should be soon.

Now everything's ready, even the issue after the hardfork.

Som help need it here.

First time ever trying to mine with a GPU.

Went to qubit.theblocksfactory and created an account.

So I have this old AMD ATI HD7750 (specifically XFX AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card FX775AZNP4;FX-775A-ZNP4 )
Specs
Code:
AMD Radeon HD 7750
1GB GDDR5
Memory Interface: 128-bit
PCI-Express 3.0 x16
Core Clock 800 MHz
512 Stream Processors
Memory Clock 4500 MHz
Efective Memory Clock 1125 MHz
OpenGL 4.2

Used the command

Code:
sgminer -k qubitcoin -o stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9000 -u USER_NAME.WORKER -p WORKER.PASSWORD --difficulty-multiplier 256 -I 16 -g 4 -w 128

What I would like to know:

It's this difficulty multiplier level appropriate?
What about the -I 16?
and last but not least, are 1.203M/1.179Mh/s any good for this?

Thank you

Would be nice if a failure notification can be added. For example, send an email if suddenly I left mining.
A great option for unattended devices.

After the Hardfork would Magi be divided in 2 coins? (Like those forks which occurred with Bitcoin & Ethereum?)
No, there will be no services that will keep the old chain going - all that will happen is that magi clients will be updated and running on the updated wallet. It happened a few times in the past,

If people still run the old version of the wallet - they will effectively keep the old chain running - but there will be nothing to do with it as no exchanges etc will be working with that version - coins will not be lost - people will just need to update their magi client.

Thank you

Discussions with new owners are going well and it seems very likely that there will be a simple way to migrate from old site to new site (same domain, just new management). Hopefully this will be ready around February 2018. More information will be published as soon as we know more.

----------------------
Above some info from Novaexchange.
Thought they would close the exchange but seems to be different. Magi XMG is still there, but without volume yet.
Good to know that if you use Novaexchange you can trade XMG there also. Somebody tested this lately?
https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XMG/
But it might be better after the hardfork or try with small amounts!

Hey, new owners of what?

I have some question about the Hardfork
After the Hardfork would Magi be divided in 2 coins? (Like those forks which occurred with Bitcoin & Ethereum?)
I've just recently began to mine Magi in the Pom.m-hash pool and I haven't received the first payment, where would go that credit?
and finally, if a division occurred, how you choose with coin to mine?

Thank you
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know of a cheap under $200 gpu for mining ? on: December 22, 2017, 05:05:03 PM
Sorry for Hijack this thread but what if for example I would like to mine Nexus or Shield.

I know these altcoins aren't profitable for now, but I would like to know.
If under 150W of power consumption even better.
If cheaper than 150 great
And if can be found online, huge win.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Hi guys. It took me a while to arrive here but let's hope I can learn something.

After finding the now famous NovaSpirit post about mining on a Raspberry Pi 3 I wanted to give it a try. So I began to search before doing something. But after finishing I have several question, so I would like if somebody help me understand those. Bellow are the instructions as I follow them.

First I follow this tutorial: hxxps://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@gridcat/how-to-install-coin-magi-wallet-on-your-raspberry-pi

Questions:

1. When Configuring the wallet the username & password are the ones of the site of when you join a pool or should you create the magic.conf file with generics are then comeback to change it after the service it's created and working?

2. When you Join a pool you need a coin address, can I use the one generated when you run command magid getnewaddress or do I get it from elsewhere?

3. As per the tutorial, when you run the command magid getinfo you can get the error couldn't connect to server, if several hours has passed, what should I check to resolve this issue?

4. After you begin to mining, if you run the command magid getinfo you can get your balance, how much time you should wait until see a value there?

5. When I run the command magid listtransactions the only thing listed its [ ], what does this mean?

and last but not least

6.  If a I want to add a different server, for example an x86 Linux server, what information should I have in mind?, I mean, using the same account and everything else

Regards
