It´s 10ºC where i am.

I had to shut the garage windows (mining location) to save some heat. Thanks rigs for the free heating for the rest of the house!

weak hands feeding the smart ones?

Is there any new story?
if weak hands sell BTC, tomorrow the price of BTC will reach $50k.
apart those who need to pay bills, no one is selling and maybe no one is buying.

I have to pay bills, and i prefer to sell one kidney..

Many friends are asking on how to buy again.. even those burnt on 2017.

Observing +10300 as i write..
i only see big dumps among lots of small buys..
weak hands feeding the smart ones?

Those sells wont change the trend. This looks like some kind of consolidation @+10k

I´ll stay with fillipone. 5 digits and we are fine.

Libra poisoned the well.

It would almost certainly destabilize currencies and even countries if/when let loose.
Example: a country has NIRP...Libra does not...so, you sell local currency and pocket the % (of NIRP) every year; or, you are in a non G-7 country...you sell local currency and buy Libra (a basket is almost always better than a single one). India and Russia-first two large countries to ban Libra on day one, I  think.

Regarding libra and bitcoin-not sure how it would affect it, but i disagree about any optimism.
If I was one of bitcoin leaders or code contributors (and I am not), I would greatly accelerate Lightning wallets development.
On a positive side, some in congress (and not in a senate) seem to understand the difference between something that is decentralized and centralized.

Bolded and underlined as i 100% agree with you. First we need a killer app, then we conquer.

Maybe Libra will make the dirty job (as in publicity stunts) for us.. In fact, a US president went to talk about BTC, "thanks" to Libra.

Did we had a senate hearing for Libra and the consequent shitshow in 2017?
I missed the US president tweets about BTC in 2015...

And they said crypto was easy money.

I don't know about "crypto" but Bitcoin is easy money.

Simply buy and hold. Don't sell unless you absolutely must. Never sell because of the price. Only buy because of the price if there's a significant dip. Don't set finite target prices.

Within a few years your bitcoins will increase greatly in value. Easy as pie.

When you see "changing life money" come and go in weeks, i can assure you.. its (still) not easy for me.

When we get "there"... man, and i dont doubt we´ll make it... we´ll deserve it.

Perfect pre-having FUD from the US authorities. Wonder when a little MtGox gets sprinkled on top. Feel we are entering a new era and are in for a wild ride. It is inevitable where Bitcoin goes though, just the timeframe is uncertain.

To future n00bs: No it was not easy holding and buying bitcoins for sub $10k, neither was it for sub $1k. It hurts almost every day, but I am sticking with it and f*cking deserve the outcome.

Amen to that. Bolded and underlined.

And they said crypto was easy money.

How short sighted do you have to be to be upset that we are now right under 10000. Hearing all the greedy dicks complain about this every single time we are in a similar place never ceases to annoy.

This is only temporary. Bitcoin will raise past the ath again and again. Be patient

I can agree with you but to a certain extent.. If we are upset its because to be patient we have to use a very precious and scarce resource: TIME.  You cant buy back time and nobody lives forever.
Of course a new ATH will come...

BTW.. 9500usd ?? Crypto an USA national security threat ??  what are you talking about???

For the 3rd time in BTC's history the 200 DMA is overtaking the 350 DMA signaling with even more certainty the beginning of a new bull market.

Whatever everyone's charts are saying..... I'll bet its the same old story for me... Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride Cheesy

Theres something wrong with Grand Cycle 4. Dont get me wrong! I love bullish charts. But it seems they are trying to accomodate that 1 and 2 lines (Elliot Wave?) to follow the recent price movement. They didnt need those lines to explain past price action within Cycle 2 & 3..

What i mean.. we have no f%&ing clue how this price will evolve. 2019 is different from years before. We are more mature (well.. some never grow up).
Maybe times are accelerating. "This time is different". No point to use past data to interpolate future price..

Long term is bullish as usual. But trying to guess what our honey badger is doing next, its impossible.

I prefer to sit close to Mic, and enjoy the ride..

go BTC go!

Sold 90%, I hope it's the correct choice.  I can't see it hitting over 12500 again in July at the very least.  The traders on trading view mainly suggesting drops to mid 10's 9's or 8's this month before a temporary pullback.  Could be a bad week from here on in.

You sold the dip?  Roll Eyes

Noobs. Sigh.

my average sell price was 13057.   I was  expecting a sell off, the alt coins were dumping and i figured this was keeping bitcoin price artificailly high as they are mostly paired to bitcoin.  Decided to sell most of my stash.

Could be a wrong choice but, I will look at it again next week just think this needs time to cool off a little.
Have you already buy back?
Don't you think it's time to buy back now? I think we are at the bottom now.

I owe Zaanda an apology. He had very good luck that time.

Trading is gambling. Dont press your luck with precious BTC
