1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit.net withdrawal problem on: January 26, 2021, 10:30:41 AM
After 4 years i was back to this exchange ( now i know is scam, but year ago it was fine). Had some issue to log into account because of 2FA - in mean time i made change of phone and lost 2FA code so i could not log in. After writing to support with new account ( 6 months) it was like i talk with the wall. Some stupid answers, multiple time argumented with proves but nothing. On the end, they even disable e-mail notification on new account ( but i still become mails on old one into which i can not log in Smiley ), so i did not received any e-mail of posted ticked or something else. And teh tickets are still open.

So people, if you read this and want to make account there. Do not do it, they will steal your coins and make no sound to help you.

6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: August 13, 2014, 08:49:42 PM
S1 upgrade kit...nice but why should i purchase two kits if i have only one S1? Bitmain, maybe you should rething this with two kits.
And other question: on the picture of upgraded S1 ( is it on the picture ? ) there are two fans. Is it mandatory to have two fans on upgrade version of S1 - actually it will be S3 Wink

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: June 12, 2014, 08:17:04 AM
WiFi has its own IP. you should connect to this IP, but if it hang, than you can not access it anyway.
The safest way is to use LAN not WiFi.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: June 06, 2014, 09:28:08 PM

I did some more poking around and rebooted. I then saw that cgminer is running happily in the processes list, but after some time it disappears from the list Huh

is it maybe not able to talk to the ASICs? All of the cables appear to be attached properly and I'm using a Corsair CX600 PSU so it should have enough heft to run it.

I'm REALLY confused! Huh

Do you have configured more than one pool ? Maybe it is unable to talk with pool and then process stops. But it will restart every 3 minutes.
Try to setup failover pools and then you will see if cgminer walk to another pool and hashes there. You can see this in Miner status under LSTime.

The 600W should be fine even for "normal" OC-ing. Cheesy
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: June 06, 2014, 08:48:15 PM
Sailing_Nut, try to start process manualy:

Goldmann et al. forever known now as "the team that quit".
+1
This is the trust in community  Grin - no response no nothing. Even official pool is down for 10 days.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S1 SSH Command Help on: June 02, 2014, 11:51:53 AM
This script it just run cgminer-api and extract some details from api. As you describe it runs every 30 minutes from cron process.I do not know why is this useful to get this on screen and into file every 30 minutes. Just connect ro S1 and run cgminer-api and you will see what do you need at iven time. Or connect via GUI and that is the same or even more readable from miner status page.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: June 01, 2014, 09:32:12 PM
I tried everything you suggest me but nothing.Am kind dissapoind for a new user using antminer s1 Embarrassed
Can you post an screen shot of Network overview status ( when you log into your S1 status page is loaded, scroll down to the network ).
Do you have any security in setted on your router?
Does the time sync with time serves ? You can see this on system log page, S1 tries to sync time right after reboot, and you will see this in system log if it has errors on or it works.
I assume you have problems with DNS.
Maybe you should try to input an pool address with IP. For stratum.bitcoin.cz is ip 95.211.52.40 .
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: May 31, 2014, 08:01:49 PM
these are my settings.are correct?
Leave the IPv4 broadcast empty. In the field Use custom DNS servers enter 8.8.8.8
For the Protocol leave it as static so you will have static address of you S1 any you can access it on this address - in you case 192.168.1.99
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: May 31, 2014, 10:49:45 AM
i tired btc guild still nothing Sad
For Slush pool just type http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 not stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 .
Do you have configured DNS ?
Why do you have three times the same pool with different worker. You should have another pool if previous one fails.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]XtraCoin[CX] - SHA256 PoW/PoS - 1% PREMINE/ NO IPO on: May 24, 2014, 06:45:13 PM
Someone please correct me if I am wrong. But I could have sworn I read somewhere (either in this thread or in IRC) that the dev was going to release an updated wallet to address the staking.

Or am I way off and thinking about another coin ?
Yes it was in this thread a few days ago. If it has something to do with staking, I don't know.

But also on IRC. Not there is great silence, and that can speak for it self Sad
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: April 15, 2014, 04:09:02 PM
Hi, what is the command to edit cgminer.lua? thanks

Use native unix editor vi.
So the command is :
Code:
vi cgminer.lua
But first you need to move into directory of cgminer.lua.  Grin
