1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [STE] Stredle - POW - Scrypt | The community's crypto. on: April 18, 2019, 08:18:54 PM
Community driven with community ideas and growth. What say will the community have in Stredle ? Please explain on roadmap and any white paper ?

As said in the announcement, we want the community to have a say on the cryptocurrency's consensus and protocol-related subjects. The community should also be able to introduce new ideas, new "concepts" if you will, that we would integrate to Stredle.

I am mining your currency.
I've added all the addnodes I've found but it's still not over 21 weeks late ...

Downloading the blockchain may be slow due to your connection. Please PM me if you are still encountering problems.

We are currently looking for exchanges that would list our cryptocurrency, preferably for free, because our team is not very rich.

Yet another pool.

https://pool.mineit.today

Payments every hour.
0.05% fee, as we still in beta testing.

Code:
-o stratum+tcp://eu1.pool.mineit.today:3433 -u <YOU_WALLET> -p c=STE

PS: Pool is in beta, so there may be problems. =)

Thank you, your mining pool has been listed on our website.  Wink

Thank you very much, that's exactly what we needed !

Stredle is a cryptocurrency that begins as a fork of Litecoin, but which in the long run is bound to take a different path from Litecoin in the sense that Stredle's protocol and consensus will differ from that of Litecoin (which means that the Stredle hash algorithm might change if the community thinks that Scrypt, or any other algorithm, is no longer suitable for this cryptocurrency)

We want to make a cryptocurrency in which the community could and should come up with ideas to improve it, in addition of those of the developpement team.

How to mine Stredle?
(you can skip this tutorial if you already know how to do it)
For the moment, to mine STEs, you have to use the Stredle wallet, by mining alone.
To do so, you need to download a mining software, like cpu miner, claymore and many others ...
In this tutorial, we will see how to mine STEs with the CPUminer software.

You will find in the link below an archive containing two files: install.bat and mine.bat

https://mega.nz/#!vNdWDIwJ!gef_9xmuTwjJFUi9umLa0X_U9DWwY1s8itq6ZYJqZR0

You must have launched your Wallet Stredle at least once before doing what will follow.

Unzip the archive and run "install.bat" and launch mine.bat to mine directly !

Mining pools:
Gethash: https://gethash.cc/
Findblocks: http://findblocks.wales/

Technical information:
Maximum coin supply: 75.4 millions
Block target: ~one minute
Sudsidy halves in 580,000 blocks
Current algorithm: Scrypt
Max block size: Currently 15MB

Port forwarding:
TCP: 1253
JSON RPC: 1254

If you are having trouble connecting to the Stredle network, use these addnodes:
addnode=5.14.56.99
addnode=37.59.67.139

WARNING: The Stredle wallet could be flagged as a virus because of its integrated miner that can be enabled/disabled at will (the stredle-qt integrated miner is disabled by default). It will be removed at the next update

I don't find it, the "main.cpp" file doesn't exists anymore, I've looked for the Genesis Block hash in validation.cpp and net_processing.cpp but i don't find anything  Huh
