If you aren't fully prepared for what's coming don't jump into mining, miners have been in bad shape since last bullrun in 2017 to early 2018 and many shut down their miners, just because it's profitable to mine right now doesn't mine things will remain the same for miners, another thing to be worried about is ETHASH Algorithm, this Algorithm is the most profitable but the best coins on this Algorithm ( ETC and ETH ) are changing to POS and other algo soon, meaning your gpu will be less profitable too, it's better to buy coins unless it's your hubby already.
Everyone has his/her own interest and opinion. I have seen hardcore miners who will find alternative coims to mine even if eth or other big coins are not profitable. Similarly they must have alternatives in mind if eth changes to pos so not a big deal for them.

Unfortunately you cannot get any help in this regard. You have to accept the fact that the transaction fee is sky high these days so if it is affordable to you go ahead with the transaction or wait for reduction of fee. We are all in the same boat and facing similar situation which is really annoying.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi New revolution or just like 2017 ICO,s ?

Guys these days heard lots about Defi ?
what do you think Defi have some real use cases if yes
would you think its good to invest in it ? ICOs were definitely big but the context was different because even now icos/ieos and other fundraising methods are surviving well. Recent defi trend is different and serves a purpose which masses need. With its transparency and universal service defi can become the next big thing in the tech world but right now it is just getting started and future is bright.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year

I imagined how most bounty participants and trader who are below the senior rank most especially those who do not know how to choose good/high rewarding projects if they would would have even made up to $1k in the past 1 year. How would they feel if they have nothing meaningful to withdraw at this pandemic period and just looking at their wallet helplessly. How much have you been able to cash out in the past one year.
I have not cashed out anything from crypto market in last one year, yes i have made some profit with some coins and some bounties too but all i have done is tried to increase my eth and then wait for big gains for ethereum which im very confident. All those ethereum gains will hopefully pay off my long patience in the crypto market.

Do you have good enough eth in your wallet to cover the high transaction fee plus the uniswap comissions? I tried couple of days too but even for small transactions they were asking for big fee so i voluntarily cancelled the transaction. I will wait for fee to settle a bit as with such high fee trading or transfers are no more feasible.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Platform
|
on: September 02, 2020, 03:09:18 PM

Starting to learn more about crypto , I find it really hard to know more about it in just a short time , I know it will take a long time and everyday studying to be able to understand it well.
Just as I was starting in this world of crypto , a new term has been the hot item nowadays , DeFi platform. I'm really trying to do a little bit of everything from bounties , to Airdrops, to Signup to have free bonuses , I didn't get a lot of chance learning about this new thing on crypto.
Anyone , who can simplify DeFi ? 😄
At the moment stay away from defi projects because their prices are already bloated and this thing can crash hard. Just to understand decentralized finance is called defi which is basically like providing decentralized banking services, so it is a big niche but will take time developing and growing.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017?
|
on: September 01, 2020, 09:34:35 PM
|
The hype is definitely not the same, if you remember correctly during ico hype even fake or scam icos were able to raise good funds and exit scammed the investors so the big money in the form of btc and eth was wasted. While now, the money if flowing into defi which most probably seems legit because you are holding the coins in your wallet and everything happens in a transparent way through the use of smart contracts and everything is trackable so the chances of scam are low but still we need to wait and see how it all goes after a year or so we can analyse the performance and give our opinion on the authenticity of defi projects.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI
|
on: August 31, 2020, 08:19:32 PM

Just an advice from me to you, do not invest in new YFI copycats popping up on daily basis due to the huge success of YFI. We all saw the surge with YFI price currently above 22,000$ which surpasses BTC price right now. This is causing a lot of FOMO and scammers are taking advantage to launch their own scam coins (YFI copycats). Examples are YFIE, YFIS which launched even without website or team information, yet people still FOMO to buy. Be careful please, just a peaceful advise.
Everyone needs to be careful, I was shocked to see similar named tokens being purchased in large amounts at uniswap. I do not know if people are actually buying them or they are being scammed by presenting similar looking tokens, this game can turn ugly very quickly i hope authorities will be keeping an eye on the situation and the scammers who are selling fake tokens.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POSITIVE PREDICTION AND SUITE SAYING BEGINS AGAIN
|
on: August 31, 2020, 07:36:06 PM

Bitcoin rises above 11,600 dollars again for the first time in a long time. This has brought about series of predictions like we saw in 2017. This is the time for us all to learn from the past experiences. We have to know when to swap to stable coins and when to swap back to bitcoin to avoid loss associated with drastic fall in price that may occur in the future.
Positive predictions were even there during the bear market, if you follow crypto twitter you will know this well but yes recently these things have increased for obvious reasons. We can easily feel and sense that market sentiment has changed now to positive and bullish so next one year atleast we can expect market to travel to north big time.

As a bounty hunter always expect failures sometimes
1. Just because a golden year occurred in the past doesn't mean we will witness such again, yes it's possible but better adapt to present condition.
2. Promoting two to three projects and waiting for your payment doesn't make sense, as a bounty Hunter the sky should be your limit, since we can't tell which project will pay or not I suggest continues hunting.
3. Listed bounties may not pay, it's still same risks as bounty projects that aren't listed on exchange yet, rewards may vary but who am I to tell? I'm not a great seer am I?
4. Scammers takes advantage of Cov-19 alot and many still fall victim upon all the warnings, now we only have few days left till next Bitcoin halving, few new scam projects will surface, keep your eyes sharply opened
I do not totally agree with your 2nd point because blindly promoting and participating in bounty campaigns will encourage scammers and they will take advantage of free promotion for their scam bounties. I highy suggest due diligence and picking the top 3 or 4 campaigns at a time max. Because it is better to work for handful of campaigns where you are sure of project and reward rather than promoting dozens where you will find good projects and gokd rewards from 10 to 20 percent of them only.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korean Exchange Coinbit Arrested For Fake Volume
|
on: August 27, 2020, 04:43:35 PM
|
Coinbit, South Korea’s third-largest cryptocurrency exchange, has reportedly been seized by police over allegations it faked most of its trading volume.According to a report from Seoul Newspaper on Tuesday, local police raided and confiscated the company's Gangnam headquarters and other premises. Accused of fraud, the firm's owner, Choi Mo, and other managers are said to have artificially inflated volumes on the exchange by using "ghost" accounts to make fake trades, a practice known as wash trading. In its report, Seoul Newspaper said it had been informed by insiders of corruption at Coinbit months ago and that up to 99% of trading volume was "manipulated" on the platform. Police allege wash trading at Coinbit had produced over 100 billion won ($84 million) in faked income. The newspaper said it had put off reporting its findings until the raids at the request of the Investigation Department of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. An accounting firm had reportedly refused to work with the firm after viewing its books. Seoul Newspaper said it had seen the books and that 99% of recorded trades could not be associated with deposits or withdrawals. https://www.coindesk.com/south-korea-crypto-exchange-coinbit-seized-allegations-fraud-wash-trading Coinbit https://coinbit.co.kr/ not Coinsbit https://coinsbit.io/ Although i hope investor funds and deposits will be safe there but if we analyse the situation closely market did required similar action long ago because most of the exchanges were doing this. I hope now exchanges will become honest and professional and will come up with neat, transparent and efficient platform with real volume otherwise such exchanges and people behind them should be trialed.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold?
|
on: August 27, 2020, 01:05:47 PM
|
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
In next 2 years time i am extremely bullish about crypto market especially bitcoin and ethereum mainly but other good coins will grow massively as well. We have to accept the fact that crypto and digital assets are getting acceptance worldwide and this will lead us to adoption which will result in insane demand and value of top coins.
