601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Magazine calls Bitcoin a "Great Scam" on: January 01, 2018, 05:32:46 AM
Quote
So, Bitcoin may be limited to 21 million numbers, but that doesn't mean that somebody else can't come up with a similar algorithm and thereby create their own unique set of numbers, i.e., their own cybercurrency.

There would still be 21 mil. bitcoins. Who care if there is other currencies ? Last i heard the wasnt only the USD on the financial markets.

This article does not make any sense...
Yeah completely doesn't makes any sense, the opinion seems like come from someone that know nothing about Bitcoin, just make a random comparison without a clear point, this simply a trash. The only great scam are those people who manages our money in the bank.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: January 01, 2018, 05:03:23 AM
People become addicated to gambling for one simple reason: ignorance

People are ignarant as to how gambling works.

See, every bet has a mathematical outcome. You can't win or lose money any different than the math states that you will. Whatever it says, that is the truth. Unfortunately (no pun intended), some people con't realise this and trul belive gambling is pure luck and they have a chance to win. How do they think a casino makes money if the odds are 50/50?! Obviously the house always wins.
They want to leave actually after they think it's not entertaining and worth anymore but they feel like deep inside their head they have to play again even for no reason. That's how an addiction works affects people who even get into a casino for once.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: January 01, 2018, 04:36:45 AM
Yes of course can give you a lot of lessons in life, in terms of financial losses that can teach  you how to value money in a matter of time. Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. If we generally analyze the whole idea here, you didn't expect to loss and yet you really loss because gambling always make's you loss rathen than winning. Having a bigger lossea that cannot be recovered by playing again will certainly give you a nice lessons that will also give you the principle of not joining gambling bets anymore; life will be change as well.
Yes i believe gambling can give you lessons in life. Because gambling taught me not everyday you are lucky so do not expect that you will win, expect the unexpected. Gambling also taught me not to be so greedy while playing because i will lose all of my money if i do not have any self control in betting.

Of course yes, gambling all the time give us lesson to us and also give the impact on our life. Some time we learn from gambling in a good way like when we win the game then of course gambling give us positive lesson on our life and when we have lost and if we have big lost from gambling then gambling can also destroy our life and it give us bad lesson on our life which we can't forget it.
Sorry for laughing.....  Grin Cheesy , there's maybe some lesson you learn from gambling but are you sure it's useful ? Compare it on how you struggle deal with a lot of problems caused by your gambling habit, I personally won't talk about how good gambling impacts your life anymore, it's mean nothing.

Well, Now you have laughed. But if anyone ask you this question then what is your answer and reaction? Could you say that gambling never give anything, then why you are here?
When you play gambling, then you never feel bad when you lose your bet? Or when you win then you never feel good or positive? If not then of course you answer will be difference than us.
I said gambling might give you a little lesson , but when you think deeper and do it continuously I would say it mean nothing, yeah it's because gamble in the long run mostly causing people gamble irresponsibly which usually make your life broke instead fix it or get better.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: December 28, 2017, 06:15:44 PM
Because of the urge to win and get big money, it’s the bottom line why gambling is addicting, sometimes its the greediness that drives to addiction, because even in times of losses, you still aim to recover and win at the end, that leads you to addiction

It is not the urge to win and get big money that make a person addicted, it can make him hooked but the one that made a person addicted is the hormones that is secreted in our brain.  Our brain longed for this hormone and make us gamble more.  And as time goes by, the effect of the activity become lesser so we tend to do more in gambling to meet the needed excitement of our brain, without realizing that we are getting addicted to it.
I couldn't agree more with you, an addiction usually come without even you realize . You want to leave but can't do that. It's too strong to fight. The money, the prize offered there was too big to deny. People tend to chase it no matter what yeah , unfortunately.
You will only realize that you are addicted in gambling when tou will lose everything you have. And its going to be hard for you to wuit because gambling will be part of your daily routine though there are others managed to get out of gambling but most gamblers will have hard time to quit because of the satisfaction gambling can give them even if it has nevative in some aspects of their lives.
Yeah in the end the indicator whether you have got addicted or not yet are on how you take a look back. Make an observation on what you have done and start thinking about what makes you do that? Mostly people would have a thought that it was because of your greedy wanting some more winning/profit quickly in very simple way.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: December 28, 2017, 05:59:55 PM
People won't lose interest on using bitcoin or some other digital currencies. From my personal experience more people have started to ask me about bitcoin as well other digital currencies. This itself confirms how good the growth as well the adoption is happening with bitcoin and other digital currencies.
How about the high fee attacks bitcoin nowadays, that issue indeed has a big influence on how people decision whether they would remain support and invest their money in bitcoin or simply leave it looking for similar crypto that has a lot of better feature which much more effective to help the business.
606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 28, 2017, 05:38:10 PM
Hi. How can you recognize pumps and dumps for any coin? Is there any universal indicators? I mean to predict it. Maybe there are some non-market signs (banners, posts, etc.)
Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?
It would be interesting to know your opinion, guys! Thanks

there are actually groups that provide information pump and dump but it's all just a hoax because they buy the coin that will be in first pump they provide information to buy the coin in the pump and instantly they will make the price to be down again and your dump will be depressed, better study just the existing charts and see the market situation.
Sometimes you should consider that the pump and dump happened due manipulation, it feels like a smart way to fools people , smart way to scam poor people. That time the big whales make money , yeah they are collecting money from small players. It's not fair indeed, so just be careful.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of bitcoin with these high fees? on: December 28, 2017, 05:26:16 PM
everyone has this problem of paying high rates, I was angry myself these days because I paid 0.002 btc of fee and as if that was not a big loss I had to pay a 1% fee and I had to pay another  $25 of the rate, I transfer  $1000 for my country and I pay  $200 of fee... it would be very good if they solved this question of high fee to minimize my situation

$20 fee for a $120 payment!
These fees make using bitcoin unpractical.

if you transfer money to your visa card, you pay a very large fee. $350 and they charge a fee of $30

Is bitcoin going to get fixed and make itself an easy and cheap payment method again?

one day these problems will be corrected

Don't know if lightning network could be activated soon and solve this problem, all I can believe is that the scalability problem would always be a serious threat for bitcoin existence itself. People could move to other crypto currency when they feel it's not worth to wait it gets solved anymore.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are the Big Gambling sites paying taxes? on: December 28, 2017, 05:13:05 PM
Yes of course especially the land based casino gambling need to pay taxes in all governments where is the gmabling house location, also the leget online gambling need to get government permit to operate.
Unfortunately there's only few bitcoin casino who have registered legitimately and that's because they caught by the government itself to pay taxes. Believe me no one wants to pay tax, as long as they are free from government radar they won't do it . Especially Bitcoin where everything are running anonymously.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: December 28, 2017, 01:22:19 PM
So far, i have not yet heard that people are benefitting in gambling. Most of them are losing so there is not really gains but for some maybe, they may win once or twice and lost more. I dont see any positive side in gambling.
There's a positive side but only a little bit. All the good things you've got from gambling usually disappeared quickly yeah it's not last forever. Don't think overconfident like there's a chance for you to win after a losing streaks , you can have a good entertainment  etc. it's just work for a while.
The only positive thing that I feel is the relieving stress in our minds, sometimes we get the excitement from gambling if we are gambling for fun but this only appears in the first time we gambled, if we gambled regularly and in the long run, I really did not think we would get any benefits from gambling. The opportunity to win in gambling is too small, the benefit will be an unrealistic thing, loss will exist almost throughout the process we gamble, although the benefits are not many but I believe we will also have the appropriate lessons from gambling
That's what I mean , you won't get any benefit basically when you are planning to do it regularly in the long run. All you'll get are just regret to have experienced gamble at the first place. Be responsible and you might could see the difference, the benefits are there even didn't much affected.
610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: December 28, 2017, 01:12:29 PM
I think the first 20 to 30 listed coin on coinmarketcap are good ones! Those coin would no have been listed if they do not command some respect and certain value and development. Having said this, you still have to research coin for yourself and make your own decision!
Sometimes the top coins in the coinmarketcap are just resulted of the hype and the manipulation so it is not worth it to trust all of them because most of the coins in the top rankings did not deserve their places so i think that it is best to do your own research in order to get some more knowledge and to have your own perspective for the coin if it is good to buy or not.
Sometimes, but mostly it gives you a good and guaranteed increase, also make you more confident as huge market capitalization means you are safe from a massive drop. Altcoins indeed promising you a crazy gain , it could be 100 times or even crazier but remember about the high risk . Coinmarketcap could be the easiest reference.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 27, 2017, 02:37:02 PM
Since you collecting not just bitcoins but multiple coins. What the proper way to do most especially if the coins are falling is to buy more of that coins in dip and keep holding on the other coins and wait for the peak before you let of it. Or just do a long term investment especially on bitcoins because that is a very promising coins in the future.
That's true, create a strategy like don't put the whole money you have at one place, put a little amount of money as a backup in case the price get dropped and you executes it to keep buying until it get recovered, so you would make another profit even there's a huge drop.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 27, 2017, 02:13:28 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
possibly bro, ETH or Litecoin could be
I think ETH has  good chance, I don't know but that is my bet and that is why I am putting my money on ETH.
Right now it's very undervalued, most of the altcoins are rising but ETH remain stable, and in that sense I think ETH is a good buy now.
Eth has been involved in a lot of big project, and currently it has a strong community with promising market capitalization. It's sounds in hurry if we talk about this but yeah ethereum could be a big threat for bitcoin. Not only about the value but also other factors.
613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 02:01:09 PM
Holding BTC is a great way to earn money with out doing any work, but like few months ago BTC was 4k and dump to 2.9K which is a risk on people who hates loosing money but look at BTC now it's already 16k!
See? The real risk are on how you could missed the opportunity to buy in low price, yeah at the dips. As you are planning to hold it for long time , you would simply ignore the drop which actually it's the opportunity to buy in very low rates , unless of course if you do keep buying bitcoin.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: December 27, 2017, 01:41:48 PM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.
What? You mean to say that your source of income is coming from gambling? Or you work in a casino that is why you said so? But even working in casino is a hard work not unless you own a casino. Anyway, there is no easy way in earning money especially if we are in middle class. What is important is we fed our family from a clean money.
If gambling was not introduced, nothing would have happened because of gambling few people lost money by the same way some people became rich, gambling is the easiest way of making money at the same time to lose the money. Gambling is not life it's just a game to make money.
Basically there's nothing wrong with gambling, it's just how people abusing the game and make it as a source of income due gambling addiction, they think they could make it happen to keep getting a good winning continuously. People has their own version about treat gambling. And mostly causing a chaos.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what impact has gambling make in your life? on: December 27, 2017, 01:00:31 PM
Although in gambling i admit that the majority of my games are losing but i don't have any regret about that and it makes me to understand that no matter if you may win or lose just set your self to the limit just enough amount that you can handle to loose. Being into gambling makes me a better risk taker and always do how to calculate risk because i accept the reality that gambling doesn't earn me a lot of profit but it makes me feel so good and entertained.
That's good if you think gambling has no bad impact directly into your life, and even give you a real entertainment in it. Actually gambling supposed to be like that, you do enjoy and profit just an extra, don't get hooked after you have got a winning, just be grateful and quit to start it again later.
616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 27, 2017, 12:48:13 PM
it costs too much because of the demand it gets form people who is interested in bitcoin. You see bitcoin holds a very big opportunity once you invest on it. You can earn coins which can be sold at a higher price and later on can be changed as cash. Bitcoin is also open on signature and social campaigns which makes you earn more. With that, who wouldn't want to invest in bitcoin? That's why they take that opportunity to price up.
Think about this, when you have invested money worth 100,000 USD and then you sell it all as your money have got doubled, what happened if the other people do the same mostly like that at the same time? It should get dropped or even crash . The price bounce back only when there is another big whales come to buy Bitcoin , it's because of the demands indeed but not that simple.

618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: December 26, 2017, 10:32:42 AM
The fact that it is happening today is that bitcoin users are rising significantly, it certainly has an impact on prices that continue to be expensive, with a marketcap that has surpassed $ 250 billion so I'm sure that the future of bitcoin will continue to improve, by 2018 marketcap will pass $ 1 billion.
Yes, I agree, also price of this is still rising and the users are really enjoy working with bitcoin. Bitcoin becoming more popular for the near future. Price of it in the future will be expensive. Prices of this is really good and Im pretty sure it will help more people to improve this and last long in the future.
Indeed the popularity nowadays escalated quickly, Bitcoin has attracted a lot of people include a big company, important and influential people to give a shot and learn more about bitcoin. It should makes the development getting better soon. And people could choose whatever they want in bitcoin.

620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: December 26, 2017, 09:33:01 AM
Patience and holding is one of the best thing to do here in bitcoin, why,? Because if we have a long patience i am sure that we can make or earn many money in the future, and i believe that holding our coins can make us rich in the future maybe holding our coins for long time just like 1 year can make us rich.
If you treat bitcoin as a place of investment then go head , do it in long term plan . But remember that you need a profit to cashed out at some point , don't go all in as bitcoin when considered as an investment it has a very high risk. That's why I consider bitcoin as a payment tool and investment just additional thing.
