41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I invest as a newbee on: May 28, 2018, 04:16:11 AM
Dont gamble if you are starting, invest in bitcoin and ethereum. Later when you are familiar with the markets try to increase your bitcoin position by fliping altcoins. It is not always easy
Agree with you. Newbies should buy only top ranked crypto-currencies (BTC, ETH, etc). But nobody knows if these coins will be pumped or dumped in the future. I think that choosing a promising coin for investing is not just a gambling. In any case, diverse your investment portfolio and try to buy the dip.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do in this Dip on: May 28, 2018, 03:00:37 AM
At first, I don't know, is it a dip or not. In February of 2018 a lot of people bought Bitcoin for 13000$, but it was not a dip. Who knows about the next moving of the BTC price.

If you are sure that the price of Bitcoin is on the low levels now, you should buy some coins immediately. In my opinion, 7000$ is a support level indeed.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: May 28, 2018, 02:25:23 AM
I think that paying a debt is a primary duty of a decent person. In most of the cases you can't take out a large loan, because the lenders will ask for commensurable collateral.

If you are going to handle too much debt, you should have such income in order to pay a credit money every month. As a variant, you can trade some crypto-currencies and get a profit.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resistance and the support point on: May 18, 2018, 09:41:09 PM
I guess the strong support level of Bitcoin is approximately $7000, because the famous large investor has entered the crypto-exchange markets a few months ago when the price of BTC was on this level. The nearest support level is $7500. The resistance level is still $10000, because Bitcoin failed to transcend this marker. I think the next pumping will overcome the resistance level.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy 1 ounce Silver. End the Fed on: May 18, 2018, 09:28:01 PM
Why not? Your wealth should be diversified. Buy silver or gold or other metal, and keep the part of your money evaluated in these commodities. Also buy Bitcoin or other crypto-currencies, or the shares of a companies, or the fiat currencies of other countries. The price of silver is more stable than the price of BTC, but I guess that this metal won't grow in the near future.
46  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Send bitcoin to own same wallet's another address require fee? on: May 08, 2018, 09:45:47 AM
Send bitcoin to own same wallet(daemon)'s another address require fee?
Yes, the fee is required in any case, because every transaction takes some space in the block of Bitcoin's blockchain. The amount of a fee depends on the size of transaction (in kilobytes). Moreover, if you just send your funds to the same BTC-address, you will pay the transaction fee to the miners. This feature is used when you want to get a change back.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: May 08, 2018, 09:28:16 AM
The problem with newbies is that they have heard the stories of early adopters buying bitcoin for a few dollars and now being millionaires and they want to emulate that when we know that is almost impossible to replicate, they have false beliefs about the profits you can get with bitcoin. The prices might gets higher or lower and that's the normal transactions in Bitcoin. You might get much profit if you just hold you Bitcoin since last year until today
The majority of the early adopters buying Bitcoin for a few dollars have sold their crypto-currency when its price rose up to about $2000, because they didn't know how long BTC will grow. Nowadays the investors can get profits buying a promising alter coins and tokens in the ICO campaigns.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sees Wall Street Warm to Trading Virtual Currency on: May 08, 2018, 09:16:59 AM
The mother of manipulators want to come into cryptocurrencies? Not too bad but we should be ready for high level of price manipulations as we know how those guy do manipulate stocks price. However this is also a good news as we can find out that at list this will be an adoption.
Wouldn't that make markets more interesting to trade into? Let them manipulate market so long as they can, let's just try to ride the wave they will create. You are right though that this news is a significant boost in adoption rate of cryptocurrencies in general. Nevertheless, I do hope that those big players of stocks wouldn't overdo the manipulation, since it can be unhealthy for btc and crypto in the long run.
Yes, the new money on the crypto-exchange markets can lift up the price of Bitcoin. Of course, the big institutions want to get profits and definitely they will sell their crypto-currencies later. But the ordinary investors can ride on the upstream wave too.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 27, 2018, 08:55:40 PM
I think that the stability of the price of Bitcoin is not important. The traders need a volatility on the crypto-exchange markets. Such a way they can get profits, buying on the low levels and selling on the high levels. All of the crypto-currencies should compete with each other, not excluding Bitcoin.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins? on: April 27, 2018, 08:24:04 PM
I think that Bitcoin will resist to rise up, because a lot of holders who bought coins on the high levels sell their BTCs when its price goes upward even slightly. Look at the altcoin named EOS. You could get a profit about 300% during a month holding this crypto-currency. Therefore your investment portfolio should be diversified.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Again, cracked the DNS broadcast. Hyde will not get caught ( myetherwallet) on: April 25, 2018, 12:13:30 AM
To do this, open C: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc
open the hosts file there and add to the end of the line
104.20.225.58 etherdelta.com
52.85.242.126 myetherwallet.com
Yes, hacking DNS is very dangerous for the crypto-currency holders. Those useful sites are protected by Cloudflare and do not support a direct IP https-links.
52  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How the genesis block triggered on: April 25, 2018, 12:01:56 AM
Interesting. I'm trying to learn more about the technical side of Bitcoin. So does this mean Satoshi mined the Genesis block? Meaning, did he actually use computing power to mine the Block? Or was the genesis block instamined when the network went live?
Satoshi Nakamoto mined the genesis block and many blocks of Bitcoin. Yes, he used the computing power of his PC (most probably Windows 32-bit) and got about 1 million BTC deposited on the different Bitcoin-adresses.

Let's calculate, how many blocks Satoshi mined.

If the reward for creating 1 block is 50 BTC, the miner is able to get approximately 50 BTC * 6 = 300 BTC during one hour (because the interval between blocks is about 10 minutes). In this case, the miner is able to get 300 BTC * 24 = 7200 BTC during one day.

As a conclusion, Satoshi Nakamoto mined during 1,000,000 BTC / 7200 BTC = 138 days = about half year. Actually, he mined during much longer time, because not every block was mined by him.

The genesis block of Bitcoin was mined at 3 January 2009, but the blockchain mining was started after 6 days at 9 January 2009.
53  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Joe's Signatureless Challenge: Win $25 + 8 Merits every week! (Round 6) on: April 24, 2018, 11:13:46 PM
This challenge was designed to help eliminate spam and shitposts from the forums.
I like this idea, hence I decided to support promotion the challenge wearing your signature. Probably I will join later. Good luck to all challengers! Kiss
54  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can there ever be no transactions to put in a block? on: April 11, 2018, 01:43:12 AM
In some earlier blocks, the miner had used a bad mining software which didn't claim the full amount. Reference nodes do not enforce a minimum sum of Bitcoins to be paid out, only the maximum. See: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/block/0000000000000000004b27f9ee7ba33d6f048f684aaeb0eea4befd80f1701126.
It seems that it is unable to decode the output address of the coinbase transaction. As a result, 12.5 BTC has become unspendable. Why was this block containing such transaction accepted by other Bitcoin nodes as valid?
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This Time. on: April 11, 2018, 01:26:58 AM
I come across some thread that were open around July 2017 and one thing that I have find out among those thread were Bitcoin is death, This is the end of cryptocurrencies and someone even said "august 1 Bitcoin is going to be less than  $100". The same thing is happening now and we are having a lot of negative comments now than around December and January. I have make up my mind to keep on hold and also investing my risk capital into cryptocurrencies as this time create another equality in the market. If you want to make good profits from cryptocurrencies in future? Now is the right time to buy! "This time" provide equal opportunities. Goodluck.
The environment around the crypto-currencies has been changed significantly during the last half year. A lot of the crypto exchange markets were banned and closed. The advertising of ICOs was restricted. Huge taxes for a crypto trading. Now KYC is neccessary. Too many bad factors have come to the crypto-currency world, and the current prices are a result of the politics conducted by the governments of the different countries.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: April 11, 2018, 01:10:28 AM
I don't like a HODL strategy, and I don't like a day trading. I think that the weekly or monthly trading is a normal way to get some profits. Try to ride the wave with whales.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: April 11, 2018, 01:01:26 AM
I think, yes, banks fear a widely adoption of crypto-currencies. Moreover, the financial and payment cards companies fear crypto-currencies. But take a look at Ripple, it is the third coin according to capitalization. Now its transactions are faster than Visa, and banks approve this "crypto-currency".
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ethereum. Long-term signal for sale on: March 29, 2018, 09:36:14 PM
I guess that Ethereum is falling stronger and deeper than Bitcoin because the teams are selling their ETHs after the successful ICO campaigns in order to get a fiat currency. Now Ethereum is below $400 already and likely goes to $300. Somebody said that this is its resistance level. Perhaps, the rich investors who bought a crypto-currencies at the end of 2017 are selling all of their coins at the current time. Or they are just shaking the crypto-exchange markets to pick some coins up from the nervous hands. The long-term signal shows a negative trend of the price of Ethereum.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fall of crypto is near on: March 29, 2018, 09:24:36 PM
It seems that the fall of crypto isn't near, but is live. Now the crypto-exchange markets are all red. Bitcoin is about $7000 and is still falling -10%. Ethereum and its tokens were almost killed -15%. ETH is below $400 already. Probably, you were right about the fall of crypto. But it can be just a temporal correction.
60  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Genesis hash again on: March 16, 2018, 02:13:08 AM
2. Why is it necessary to generate a "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"? :-) We are create a genesis-hash without to use it Smiley
It is not necessary. This sentence is just a part of the input script of the coinbase transaction which is not used in the genesis block in fact. You can use any text in this field.
