I was refunded this weekend.  I feel kinda bad about the fact that we never got to mine, but it's all good.  I know we all had the best intentions when this started.  It's too bad that the hardware manufacturers are so flaky.

Still no refund.

Papa

I know these guys have day jobs and stuff, but I am surprised we haven't heard anything recently.  Odd.

Holy network hashrate Batman! Way to drive out the little guys.

Yeah, I make like a half a cent a week.

Hey guys!

I sent a PM to bobsag3 and thomas_s.  Not sure if you all got it.  If we are not mining, I would like a refund, too.

Thank you!

Will there be any mining?  Are there devices coming?  Or is this a lost cause?

My Hash is (a whopping) 6.63 GH/s however on the my account in Slush it is only: Total average hash rate in last 60 minutes: 4.309 Ghash/s
The figure on the web site is only an estimate, back-calculated from the shares submitted.  As the minimum difficulty threshold set by the pool is now 8, which is a bit high for your hash rate (probably 2-3 would be better), it could be that you are effectively under-performing.  That is, where on a setting of 2 you might submit 6 shares and be credited with 12 (6x2), on the higher setting for the same period you may be submitting only 1 share and being credited with 8, even though your farm (vegetable plot?) is working just as hard.

I also find that at certain times of day the peak loading on the internet can slow everything down, with a noticeable effect on my results.

So I just need more power.

Is this normal?  It's been like this for weeks, but I just bothered to check.  I have two antminers and a bunch of old Block erupters.  They are connected to a Raspberry pi with three hubs.  Would I need to separate them out as different miners to get them to work? They worked at "full power" until I added a second antminer.

Thanks!

I would have to say probably a lack of power.  What kind of hubs / Power adapter amperage do you have?

JT

I have 2 D-Link DUB-H7 High Speed 7-Port Hubs and 1 generic 7 port powered usb hub.  But Minepeon shows the hashing speed okay, Slush does not.  Would a lack of power do that?  I would think it would my hashing power would show low on my Minepeone status screen also if it was the hub.

That's all!

Okay,  I preface this with the fact that I am currently completely clueless on the status of everything lately except that I know stuff is just slow and not here yet.

I have a share of R17: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 - are keeping this, getting a refund, doing a magic dance?  Smiley
I had one in R21: Bitmain Antminer, which I think we sold.  My memory is hazy now on this, but I remember a payout at one point.
I had a couple other shares in things that were sold.

Is there anything left that is active?

I know why aren't doing this anymore, but I'd prefer to be mining and not giving up.  I mean I am piling up little Antminer U1s here and there at home, but it is just lame.

blah what a waste of 1day 5+ hours!!

It didnt seem to shave off the ones that jumped on from our crazy luck the previous days!!!

That's gotta be a record!

It's a shame, because some of our group buys went without a hitch.  I was looking forward to the momentum.  Alas, there are a lot of disreputable people out there and they stain the reputations of every one "in the business", even the ones who are on the up and up.

any main difference between using stratum and using the regular address? some person earlier said to use stratum, but other person said it was okay for me to use the regular one.

thoughts? (antminer s1 180gh)

Only the Stratum one works.

I also noted my lower payouts - then checked the pool's hashrate : went up to a whopping 1089 GH/s in almost no time, easily explaining my lower share in the total pie.

Yeah, it's kind of disheartening on a level.
19  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: DZ MC: Round 5-6, KnC Jupiters. Please move ?s and discussions here. on: March 07, 2014, 04:21:35 PM
I have one share I think, at the most two.  Whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me.

Dammit!  My Pi goes down when I am out for 16 hours, and all sorts of blocks process.  I am back up and now it's six+ hour blocks all the way.  Arghhh!
