I will order 6 soon and share my experience.
Each would cost about 400usd which is ok compare to 300 bucks rx570 that is impossible to get now.
Hashrate 30 to 40 and price 300 to 400. Seems reasonable.

Hi there,

Can you please advise me if:
1) This card will require bios mod and overclocking?
2) If you use if on Linux and had 39mh/s from stock? Supplier recommended W10. Most folks sit on Linux distros with Nvidia.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Beginners basic rig - is this ok? on: January 12, 2018, 09:44:34 PM
2nd MB is better.
32gb SSD (think 320 was a typo)
CPU and RAM is ok
2 cards - no risers required.
PSU depends on number of cards, 650W can easy handle 2.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many GPU's would you go for when getting a custom rig frame built? on: January 12, 2018, 09:05:10 PM
Medal welded rig cases are very heavy. I would not do it this way.

Best is aluminum. Try one. I'd space for 8 GPU and do 1 case just to be safe.

20 is extreme. U must have very good understanding of what u doing.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with mixed GPUs (AMDs and Nvidia) with ethOS on: January 12, 2018, 09:03:09 PM
Hey lcruz007,
I have question whats ur hash rate with RX580 on EthOS?

How much of tweaking required with EthOS? Most people recommend W10 with AMD cards, so there are no evidence of EthOS/SMOS/Hive setups with AMD...

Im curious, is it plug and play or battle with drivers, bios mod and tweaking is still the case?

Thank you.

Many suppliers on AliBaba sell fake or misrepresent items.
Give us an example of seller - easy to look how good they could be.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Whats a good motherboard to start with? on: January 09, 2018, 11:07:41 PM
Any Asus, MSI, Gigabyte mb should be fine, easy to make sure it can handle 6 PCIe.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining motherboard - Onda B250 BTC-D8P - Anyone tried ? on: January 09, 2018, 11:05:11 PM
My older ver with 6 PCIe is going to be here next week. Will update with AMD GPU results.

Thank you Phil for sharing, highly appreciated.

My supplier confirmed hashrates announced here.
104 is able to go up to 40Mh/S Eth.

Bad idea. You will mine close to nothing.
Very easy to proof. But better forget about it right away. Sorry

I requested price from some solid sources.
And will call my account manager to see if they will deliver them as special order. Its not in their catalog yet.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First mining build - Opinions? on: December 26, 2017, 07:31:56 AM
Setup is good.

MB you can download special BIOS for mining from GB website.

Cards - 580/8GB would give afaik same hashrate as 570/4gb and cost significantly more.
Also do your research on overclocking/undervolting - people just told me they got issues with same cards.

850W PSU is not required, but more power is always better.
Stable rigs 8 GPU run on 850Wx2.

Regarding W10/Linux. I am looking for solid opinions too.
As for W10 u can use mining drivers, overclock etc. OS is overloaded.
Linux is simple, CLI and easy to manage. However, I didnt find any solid confirmation regarding drivers and undervolting.
I m just curious which system would run better - voltage and hash.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do you get Internet to your mining rigs? on: December 26, 2017, 07:23:16 AM
I am looking for wireless mid-term solution. Have strong signal. Just need to try it with stick.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: December 26, 2017, 05:28:10 AM
Seasonic is cheaper, so why buy Corsair?

I am looking for PSU for my 6 RX570 rig no risers Onda board.
Each card undervolted is up to 100w.
No risers so total power would be about 700w.

So 2x750w gold certified should be sufficient.
Or 2x850 if the price is good

I'm looking to buy 2x850 Seasonics.

Why 1070 and not 570? Just curious.

If someone can sell me 1 board in USA? want to test it.
Checking delivery from China, there is slim chance to be here before NY.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Cabinet Design on: December 23, 2017, 06:19:02 PM
Cards are too close to each other, I d go with at least 3" in between.
This looks like stove for me.

3 MB is doable, but not easy.
would be 3x1500W enough to power it?

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ⓜ️ minerstat.com | Mining monitor with remote management (GPU, antMiner) on: December 22, 2017, 09:53:50 PM
Thank you for getting back to me.

1. How your OS will be different/better compare to Simplemining/Hive/etc?
2. If OS came through QA testing, is there a way I can test it now? (I am looking for best OS for mining farm)?
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium mining rig hardware? on: December 22, 2017, 09:37:01 PM
Sure, I just want to make sure I build most reliable and profitable rig.
Troubleshooting is my bread, I am not afraid of it at all.
Want to start right way, as Ive seen completely different opinions, for example some people do 6 GPU, some do exclusively 8. Some use W10, other only Linux.
I work with CLI daily so there is no fear to run Linux.

But generally I want to start right, so when I build more rigs, I have similar setup for all of them. I know how unification is important in terms of support and scalability.

PS: I know price dropped, thats fine.

VPN on edge router works. Thank you guys for help.
