If someone verifies to level 2, then empties bank account, instant buys 50 btc, then never pays, how can this be stopped? Cpinbase takes 2 days to take the bank funds....but they give 50 btc instantly? Sounds like coinbase open to get scammed.
To get "Verified, Level 2", they essentially get your personal info. If you attempt to scam them, they know who you are and will go through approved venues (collections, etc) to get their money back. It's why they can do Instant BTC, they know who you are and where you live. you might also get reported to the 5-0 for wire fraud... Replace "might" with something a bit more concrete and you are getting warm

I would have had 7 tonight, except for the fact that coinbase cancelled my 1.5 btc order from the 29th for no reason other than they are greedy hook-nosed bastards. I did not record my trans # on top of that.... Is there anyway to retrieve a cached page from my history to view the trans #??? I am at a loss, they could just say it never existed but it did.... What a pack of unprofessional scumweasels. Nobody out there should do any business with them. If I do not receive a full refund PLUS repayment for the wasted time and stress for this, I am taking legal action. sorry for the tangental rant, I am just beyond word...

So I am livid right now. I log in today to check my bitcoin wallet, when to my shock it is nowhere to be seen. I remember with photographic memory what time and date that it was supposed to show (1.5btc to be deposited at 7:08pm) and now it is completely gone! No record in the transaction history besides the 3 or so orders I placed following it, and I did not record the transaction # stupidly as I had not the faintest clue that they would pull something like this. Is this a phenomenon that has been observed before? I remember buying them at roughly 118-124 a peice and now the order is erased. I am totally pissed and am trying and scrambling to find a contact number but cannot. Needless to say I am NEVER going to continue doing business with COINBASE.COM. I will continue to spread the word of this ridiculous and unethical behavior as long as bitcoins and/or their company exist. I need to hear from someone on here about their direct line where I may phone them now or in the a.m. If you are considering doing any significant amount of business with coinbase.com, heed this warning now. Something fishy is going on......I am emailing transfers@coinbase.com but I doubt I will hear back from them in a timely manner....

I dont see any significant drop coming and I have been a very good predictor of these types of things. I see bitcoin steadily rising from here on out, no major bubble-burst but just dips. I saw the 2008 NASDAQ drop and predicted it before the pundits did. Told my mom to invest in gold. She kicked herself when it doubled. If you havent bought yet you may well have to buy now or not at all. Thats just my .2 satoshis.

I will go to satoshidice, gamble it and return all winnings to you minus a few satoshis for myself
