1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2018, 04:34:34 PM
The market will go up again and more and more money will flow into crypto. Markets always rise and fall but crypto-technology is here to stay.

That will not protect any shitcoin investments, though.

The serious discussion board was created for this, but you will need to be at least a Junior Member to post there.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2722359.0

I hope you will stay with us, and contribute to that board. It needs a few more decent posters.

As an encouragement for you, I've given you a merit.

Thanks for the recommendation, that place looks better, I agree! It seems it takes a lot of time and spamming comments to become a junior member (in fact, that seems to be the source of a lot of the spam). I will try and stick around, I guess.

Apparently I'm in the minority, but I'm appalled and overwhelmed by the number of useless low-effort, zero-information posts on this forum.

Any actually useful information in any thread on this website is drowned out by a torrent of pointless spam comments.

Is there a more "high quality" forum with moderation that deletes all the spam and only allows for comments that contribute to the conversation and mutes/bans people spamming pointlessly?

The content on bitcointalk is often very valuable and I have been lurking for a long time, but I have decided to make an account to more actively engage in the community and I am highly discouraged by the usually broken English spam of "Greatest project! it is sure to be succeed!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Wink Wink" in every thread.

The activity requirement for membership ranks should be removed. All it does is encourage the spamming of pointless messages, which leads to low-quality discussion literally everywhere in this forum.
