1  Other / Off-topic / Re: who is still anxious when receiving? on: February 01, 2016, 08:17:01 PM
Every single time I send a transaction I watch it like a hawk. I've had troubles in the past whereas ive lost quite a bit bitcoins also. I totally understand where you are coming from. The only thing that helps me is being a medical marijuana patient, keeps my nerves down Smiley
2  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [ANN]Buy/Sell Bitcoin fast, quick and secure with BitQuick.in! 1% buy, 0% sell on: April 21, 2014, 02:48:59 AM
Be a bit careful dealing with Bitquick.in . I missed their To&C and when my sell order was lying there for a long time and I wanted to cancel and withdraw my order, I got a penalty of 0.02 BTC. Even with the low price of BTC that amounts to 600ish INR. Too steep.

that's ridiculous. 1% trading commission is too high.

BTC community in India should come up with a good exchange if BTC has to get mass adoption
1% fees was promotional, it's now 2% for buyers.

why cant you sell in localbitcoins or unocoin?
I find unocoin a bit shady. I just posted here before I did on local bitcoins though I'd have done it. I had also posted an ad on ibitcointrade. The one place I won't go is bitquick.in. On there if you cancel an order because no one is interested in it, they charge a steep fees of 0.02 BTC. REMEMBER TO READ THE SMALL PRINT. And yes I also do escrow. This deal is going on smoothly with Benson as escrow.  Grin
Hi, I represent Unocoin. Can you please elaborate why do you feel Unocoin as a bit shady?

6  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <DZMC Exclusive> $130 / 40GHS on: April 19, 2014, 11:04:49 AM
I have one share in the GB. I know there's some delay, but can anyone please summarize what's going on and there will be any mining at all or I have to request for a refund? Skimming through 40 pages of posts is confusing.

your 40gb share will become 50gb if you wait until may 1-10 we should hash.

if you ask for a refund  you get the exact amount of btc the day you paid for it -1.5 %

so the 130 usd purchase you paid could have been paid with btc at 1000 a coin which means the coin you put in was about .130 btc so you would get a .1285 btc refund.

So if you paid with really hi value btc you may as well not get a refund. my example above would mean you lose about 65 usd. as .1285 btc is worth around 65 bucks.

In my case I had 12 shares purchased over 6 orders.

I cashed in 7 shares and kept 5

Thanks for clearing that up philipma Smiley . Yes, I'll just wait. There's no point in having the BTC back. I don't wanna sell them at the low price they're right now.

What news about hosting? Would you elaborate? The email on your site doesn't work, when sending the mail pings back. You won't even reply to a PM here.

Ordered one unit for lazy hosting in batch 3, I'll be observing and maybe invest more soon. Hopefully you'll be able to shift to fortnightly or weekly payout schedule.

Good time to sell your GPU's at some profit, I'm thinking about doing the same. The scrypt ASIC's are catching up, scarily. 300kH for 35W is a GPU killer.
15  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [In Stock] Batch 8! Gridseed miners in Stock in Los Angeles. [$225] on: March 14, 2014, 04:20:36 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I wanted to buy just one for testing this out so I don't want to buy a  full blown separate power supply or anything yet. So I suppose if I get this AC adapter http://www.ebay.in/itm/12V-5A-POWER-ADAPTER-SMPS-POWER-SUPPLY-FOR-LED-AND-OTHER-EQUIPMENTS-/181343625932?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item2a38ec22cc   and connect the Gridseed device to my PC via my mobile's data cable (micro USB) and installed the specific CGminer version, I could hash away at 300KH?

Or this http://www.ebay.in/itm/Universal-Notebook-Charger-Adapter-Power-Supply-for-Laptop-12V-to-24V-96W-/301109513618?pt=IN_Laptop_Desktop_Accessories&hash=item461b868d92

I am going to run one on this. People over at reddit have been using it without issues
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TUMDWG/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

For my other 10 that I'm receiving next week, going with a CX600 psu (since I already have a spare one from an older desktop pc).

I thought the inner diameter was supposed to be 2.1mm. If that one you linked works then I have a spare Adapter for my LCD monitor with 12v 5A 60W that should work. Just perfect! Thanks for pointing out.

Actually its 100 members not karma's

Yeah i read it wrong the first time as well !
btw how much is exchange rate of karmacoin ..?

0.00002 USD per karmacoin. i guess u did not get the sarcasm that BTCIndia tried to bring Smiley
yes i didn't got it, because i seriously didn't knew about karma :p sounds Indian name though , is it created by some Indian.?
Yeah karma is a indian term. I do not see anything related to India on its website though http://www.karmacoin.info

Etymologically Karma has sanskrit root, but the word is in English vocabulary already. And it's pretty commonly used outside India.
