121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRC) | Johnny 5 Bot Now Live V2 RhinoHunter Soon Released on: August 30, 2015, 09:00:36 PM
Still weeks till the next update, fairly confident somepony is going to dump his coins into my buy wall  Smiley then I got like 40k coins, after the burning 2 million coins, market cap over a year about 10 million dollar, each coin 5 dollar, 40kx5 =200k dollar  Cool bring it on bitches
You may very well be right that somebody will dump and fill your order. I too hope to pick up some more cheap coins. It is weeks away from another update but the price will rise in anticipation of the Update. When/if they start working on an in wallet casino, price will rocket in anticipation of that release.

As far as I've been told it is a matter of when not if.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ODNT] - Old Dogs New Tricks - [POS] [Non-Profit] on: August 29, 2015, 10:08:22 PM

Who are you? Are you affiliated with ODNT organization? Why there is no mention about your crowdfunding/ICO on official ODNT website http://www.olddogsnewtricks.org/ ?
I plan to get proof of dev for this project soon.
Yes, I am affiliated with the ODNT organization, most folks wont have any idea what crypto is, but I added the announcement to the site and home page for good measure:

http://www.olddogsnewtricks.org/2015/08/29/we-created-a-digital-coin-for-odnt-fundraiser-on-yobit/

Thanks. It's enough for me to make a small donation once Bitpay address is up and running. I sincerely wish Susan and you all the best.

ICO NOW STARTED ON YOBIT!
https://yobit.net/en/trade/ODNT/BTC

Quote
“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.” ~Mahatma Ghandi.
About Old Dogs New Tricks.

Old Dogs New Tricks is a rescue for older dogs that are unwanted and abandoned.  We are a 501c3 non-profit organization of volunteers who provide veterinary care and meet the day-to-day needs of senior dogs while they look for forever homes.

As you might guess, a rescue like this is very expensive because the dogs we rescue often come to us in bad shape from years of neglect. Our vet bills are enormous and the rescue is mostly run on donations from generous people and the wonderful volunteers that help us out.  Susan Call is president and founder of Old Dogs New Tricks. Susan has Multiple Sclerosis, and is confined to a wheelchair, but her handicap does not stop her from giving 100% of her energy to the rescue.

Quote
A quote from Susan:

"When I started this venture in 2009  I wanted a project that was bigger than myself and, since I love dogs, why not make it about them?  I chose to rescue the older ones because they are often the first to be euthanized.  When we take in a new dog their eyes say it all. They look up with cloudy, sad eyes as if to say “THANK YOU” for a safe place to rest. It always brings tears to my eyes. After a few weeks of rehab they come back to life again and become playful and energetic. The transformation is Awesome."

Once the dogs have been rehabilitated, ODNT cares for them and sees to their day to day needs as they look for permanent homes for them.

We are running this Crowdfunding project for the purpose of supporting ODNT. The planned uses for the funds generated are listed transparently below.  The primary purpose of the ICO is to invest in safety and driving upgrades to the Rescue's handicapped accessible van so that Susan can independently take care of the day to day business of the rescue.

Quote
Susan Explains the need:

"I've been on a quest for a wheelchair accessible van that I can drive ever since I started the rescue. I need it to pick Dogs up from shelters, take to vet appts, everything dog. A year ago I finally found a van I could afford with some handicap features.  It's now "the rescue van".  But sadly I still can't drive it. I want to drive it from my wheelchair and I need about $7500 worth of specialized equipment to make that happen. It would make life so much easier if I could drive the van, in addition to the safety issue with needing a midnight run to the vet for an emergency. "

Of the total funds raised, 34 BTC will go toward improvements in the rescue van.  In addition to the funds raised for the rescue van upgrades, 6 BTC will be used to purchase a sponsored exchange listing, as well as 5 BTC for fees and development costs and 5 BTC for future wallet updates and improvements, for a total of 50 BTC.

The funds will be raised in a ICO crowdfunding offering at the digital currency exchange Yobit.Net. The offering will last for 7 days, after which time half the funds raised will be placed in a buy wall and the trading will commence. The developer funded buy wall will be maintained for four days, or unless it is consumed.

The wallet will be released at the start of the ICO, so traders can capitalize on the staking opportunity.

Does that mean you provided Bittrex with your real identity?

Yes sir. Photo ID required and all.

Could you answer my question regarding break down of 4000BTC?

Fund allocation is dependent on how much is raised during the CFC. The majority of what is raised will be used to pay for full-time developers salary.

Quote
Would you mind braking down 2000BTC 4000BTC or even 800BTC as in how much is expected to go towards what and why? For ex. how much are you paying syntaks and other developers, how many developers are you planning to employ, for what and for how long? How much are you allocating towards marketing campaigns, where and over what period of time? Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be fussy or something, I am considering investing and I assume that with such high value project you must have created business plan then calculated and re-checked. You didn't just come up with that amount out of nowhere thinking it should be enough right? Not with 2000BTC 4000BTC, or even minimum 800BTC. It's a lot of money even at current rates.

Also do you mind providing a link to either coinssource.com or cryptocerify.com verification? I don't see any links in OP

Thanks

I already have somewhat of a history with bittrex (positive history to be clear) so they've given approval to use my PoD rating from CryptoAsian (Rating is a 5+ out of 5). http://proofofdev.com/shibe-shibecoin/
CFC details can be found here: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207166757-R3D-CrowdFund-Campaign

What? Really? You took over and then abandoned Shibe like it was nothing but a quick p&d coin, which it was actually. What happened to your promises Jared? What happened to the Shibecoin development you were so determined to work on? You are spending so much time here answering questions but you completely ignore people in Shibecoin thread you left bagholding with nothing more than empty promises! Block explorer is down, website is down, Shibe is completely dead and constantly being de-listed from Bittrex. Is that how you care about your supporters? and now you come up with 4000BTC CFC like nothing happened? better yet you don't even know what you're planning to spend it on? Full-time developers salary you say? Fucking hell man, are you hiring Scott Guthrie? This must be a joke and you really have a weird sense of humour. I'm well out!
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRC) | Johnny 5 Bot Now Live V2 RhinoHunter Soon Released on: August 24, 2015, 08:49:26 PM

Don't know what's going on with the price guys i have bought CIRC at very high and this price is killing me, hope everything will be ok once the new updates gets released Smiley Till then we can buy at low price  Wink well i think it will get dump till 5k sat but who knows what is next  Huh  Fingers are crossed!

I don't think it will go all the way down to 5K, unless some 'traders' are happy to sell at loss. Just try keep stacking up and be patient. I pulled my bigger orders and waiting for the floor to re-enter. I left a few smaller just in case. CIRC is traders coin and the price is expected to drop as well as rise. Use the weak hands to your advantage.

Most traders in circ should have already taken profit meaning they are all on free coins so selling at 5 or 4 or 3 k is not at a loss, unless you're the buy and hold type of investor. Anyway.. Im sure most traders here took profits and couldn't care less if it went to 5 or 4 k. Id fucking love to pick up 20 or 30 btc worth below 5k. fuck yeah.

That's what I meant, people who bought in at ICO and didn't sell yet, 'buy and hold' type of investors. I bet there is a few left still and some weak hands will sell seeing current price drop. Not wise, but it will make the strong hand stronger Wink I made my profits and I am ready to put it all back in when time is right.

the max they are asking for is 4000btc

Oh right yes, it's 4000BTC, thanks. Not sure why I thought it's 2000BTC, haven't seen so many zero's in altcoin section since the beginning of scams times, it got me confused Wink

Would you mind braking down the 2000 BTC you're asking for? How did you come up with such amount, what are you intend to use it for exactly?

If a minimum of 800,000,000 R3D are sold (800 BTC) I would be able to continue to pay syntaks and the rest of the team to work on this project full-time, rather than in between contract work and "when time allows." We want R3D to continue moving at a rapid pace, get people to start working with the core and developing new applications, and a successful CFC will allow us to do this. Should the CFC be successful we'll allocate some of those funds to continue marketing campaigns as well in order to reach a broader target audience. There are a lot of developers out there that could very much benefit from this, and the R3D community will benefit from other's development, creation, and application on the core source. Keep in mind that what isn't sold is burned. There isn't some percentage off the top that we keep unbeknownst to everyone (Bittrex would never release funds to us if we did that anyway because we didn't announce it), nor will there ever be any new R3D in circulation. What R3D is sold during the CFC is all that will ever be in circulation. We went with Bittrex for this CFC with full intention of being clear and upfront about out intentions and legitimacy. Bittrex no longer allows for anonymous CFCs, nor will they release raised BTC to us until AFTER they review the source and test the blockchain.

Again thanks for extensive reply but it's not really what I expected, let me try again. Would you mind braking down 2000BTC or even 800BTC as in how much is expected to go towards what and why? Stoner, you must be smoking some good stuff if you managed to come up with something like this. 800 btc?.. your eyes must be all r3d LOL.. or is it 8 btc?..

Seriously though, if your project is as good as you claim it is why don't you list it on kickstarter for example

I'd agree with the fact perhaps this wasn't the best place to seek investment or audience provided it's not a "trader's coin".  This forum has just become a hub for crypto-related projects, announcements and the likes.  Have any other projects gone through kickstarter that were in the same realm?

No, because they all turned out/turning out to be scams designed to enrich the creators.

It wasn't a matter of launching another campaign, it was a matter of restarting the existing one.  It costs to run a CFC at Bittrex, so after paying to list it wouldn't make much sense to just cancel it.  As far as the scammer's playground, I couldn't agree more with you.  I read some horror stories about kickstarter-funded campaigns and that's ridiculous.  Some were even worse than what I've seen happen in crypto.  Regarding the financial breakdown, that's more an area for Jared to discuss.

     Best regards,

syntaks

Thank you for answering. Kickstarter was just an example, there are other crowd-funding sites out there you could potentially use to attract bigger investors. It would probably sell out in 2 days (if everything was listed legitimately and as transparent as possible). Saying that, I think if this is executed properly and professionally, Bittrex may still help achieve your goal.
