1  Local / Trgovina / [P] Prodajem Ethereum. on: March 25, 2018, 11:29:06 PM
Prodano.
2  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Najlaksi nacin da unovcim Ethereum? on: March 01, 2018, 10:54:23 PM

A da jednostavno ovdje https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=220.0 napraviš post [P] Prodajem ETH i nađeš nekog u svom gradu, mjestu i obaviš to bez fee-a?

Pokusacu, hvala.

3  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Najlaksi nacin da unovcim Ethereum? on: February 28, 2018, 07:02:41 PM
Pozdrav.

Hvala unaprijed.

Paying over double MSRP just to get ~30 MH/s doesn't sound very smart to me. Especially when the next gen cards are about to be released in less than 2 months for Nvidia and 6 months for AMD. Once the new cards come out, you would be lucky to get $200 for a used RX 580.

The HD 7850 can easily get 17-18 MH/s on Ethash (<2GB Dag). Six cards will give you 108+ MH/s. You can actually get 19.5 MH/s at -ethi 4 in Claymore, but the cards will run hot. They also get 500 H/s+ on Cryptonite and 195 H/s Equihash each.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2520971.msg25750026#msg25750026

There are also newer cards you can use that can give you a much better ROI than paying $600 for a RX 580.

Well it doesn't sound smart to me either, that's why I'm here asking the questions lol.

Thanks for the info about these other cards, but still they are pretty hard to get over here, it's a small country and most of the people are crazy about RX series and 1060+ series and that's what people are selling the most now.

Well at $600 for a RX 580 it may take you a year of 24/7 mining to even get your money back. If you ever want to sell the card to upgrade in the future, you will take a huge loss. If I were that desperate to start mining, I would rather buy 6-7 used HD 7850 2GB on eBay for ~$500-600. That will give you 108-125 MH/s on Ethash coins with a Dag <2GB like UBQ, EXP, PIRL, etc and also ~1170-1365 H/s Equihash and ~3000-3500 H/s on Cryptonight. Much better ROI and you can also trade those coins for ETH if you want.

I'm not desperate to ''start mining''. I just have some extra cash I want to keep rolling, since I don't have time to day trade. And I don't want to do day trade.

Where did you see 5-6 of 7850 giving you ~20 MH/s per card? As far as I know, maximum hashrate of that card is like ~12. And I don't think anyone would buy those off me even after ROI. It'll be hard to sell after. I think.

First of all, thank you for the fast answers.

Second of all, LOL I kinda saw this coming. But that's currently the price of RX580's over here right now. And actually it was even more when ethereum was $1500. Then after it crashed, prices went down and this is the lowest they got. I kinda feel it's gonna happen again, prices for GPU's will again go up. It already started over here.

And there is no really other cards to buy, I wanted 1070's too, but it's like $200 more comparing to RX580.

While 4GB versions od the same 580's are alot cheaper, same goes for 470's, 480's, 570's but I don't know if those are as good as 580's? Because so far I have experience only with 580's. And should I even build a rig with the 4GB cards, I know those cards are safe for like a year and a half or two from now mining ether, but speaking about resell price if i want to upgrade etc?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What is the difference between these RX 580's ? on: February 16, 2018, 01:56:34 AM
Hello. I currently have one rig which is 6X Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB which I bought pre-made and I want to build a second one from scratch now, but I'm wondering what is the difference between models of these graphics cards? As I'm pretty much new to this and want to learn now about bios modding and get some experience there.

I see alot of RX 580 cards on sale, some are cheaper and some are pretty expencive. For example, Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB is currently priced at $675, while ASUS RX 580 DUAL is $40 less than Sapphire one. And there is also some other models like Sapphire PULSE, Gigabyte, XFX GTS XXX, MSI Armor and few other models which are cheaper and/or more expencive.

Can someone please just simply explain to me, what is the difference between these models? Like is there a difference in modding bios? Or is modding bios on some of these cards harder/easyer? Are some of them giving less hash? Because I don't know much yet, and I don't want to make a mistake so if anyone could please tell me. And also advice if I should go with 8GB or 4GB version now. Thank you in advance.

I was about to get these, but alot of people suggested me to get 1070's instead. They cost a little bit more money, but totally worth.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: January 27, 2018, 11:30:15 AM
Hey guys, can someone please help me with overclocking my RX580's 8GB? (4x Micron, 2x Samsung) I'm currently getting 170 mh/s. I'm new to HiveOS and mining in general, I just started yesterday lol. And I'm not sure what to do with AMD OC in HiveOS, and I don't want to do it alone, I'm kinda afraid lol. So if there is anyone who has same cards or anyone who can help me to get a little bit more hash from my cards it would be great. I tryed some tutorials, but there is really no that much of them, only one or two and those are on russian language which I don't understand.

Thank you in advance.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / I need professional advice, ASAP, please? on: January 16, 2018, 08:03:20 PM
Hey guys, I need a professional advice. I can't decide between two mining rigs.

First one is 6x Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB ~190 mh/s mining eth and it's not available atm, price will go up for alot untill it is.

The other one is about the same hash rate and it has 6x Sapphire RX 570 Nitro+ 4GB. and it's available right now.

The other one is a like $400 cheaper, so should I buy first one or the second one? For how long from now am I safe with 4GB graphics cards? Thank you in advance.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good mining rig to start with? (Eth) Help on: December 21, 2017, 10:36:35 PM
Hello guys, I'm completely new to mining, just starting. I've read alot about mining but still, won't hurt to get a professional advice from someone who is doing this for alot longer.

The rig is:

GPU - 6x SAPPHIRE RX 580 8GB
MOBO - 1x Gigabyte H110-D3A
Usb - 1x 16gb San Disk
Ram - Patriot 4GB DDR 4
Processor - Intel
Risers - 6x
PSU - 2x 700 W Forton
Windows 10 Pro

It costs arround $3100 and it gets 186-191 hash mining ethereum. Is this a good rig to start with today? Considering Im completely new to mining. So I would still be learning while doing it.

Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance.
570 4gb cards get 29-30 for significantly less cost. You should be able to build a 570 rig for around $2k max (assuming ~$250 per card).

Thanks for the answer. Currently, there is only Sapphire Radeon RX 570 4GB D5 Pulse OC available in my country, which is cheapest from 570's and its $329.
And then there is again this problem because I'm new to this, there is no chance i could build a mining rig by myself, and I dont have any friends that are mining so I cant get help with that. And there is no chance I could mod bios and other stuff by myself. I would like to build a mining rig by myself, I know it's way cheaper than when you buy it off someone, I tryed googling and looking into it, I know hardvare, but no chance i could mod anything. I could build it but with factory settings which will be like 130 MH/s. I wouldn't know any better than that.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a good mining rig to start with? (Eth) Help on: December 21, 2017, 09:24:14 PM
Sure, with BIOS mods you can get a bit higher performance than what you said. It's a fine/mediocre rig to start mining Ethereum but don't forget that there also other altcoins that you can find and they may earn you more than what Ethereum could in a short term.

Hey, thanks alot for the fast answer. Well I will just start mining Ethereum for the start, as I really don't know anything about mining yet. I will look into mining other altcoins as well. For now I only know what it means, but how to do it, not yet lol. Since this rig is Plug & Play I'm just gonna let it mine Ethereum while I'm learning about other stuff. I will browse forum and read all possible topics about that. Thanks for the fast answer once again.
