Lend you Bitcoins out on Finex or OKCoin.
The risk is that the exchange gets hacked or goes bust.

I'm surprised to see that Bitfinex isn't listed...
You get 10% of the fees from the person you refer, and they get their first month of 10% off fees.

What are the possibilities of getting separated staking / bankroll funding investment stats on the "Stats" page?

It would be nice to be able to see how much investment profit was from staking vs bankroll funding.

You're not the first person to ask. I agree it would be nice to see.
You can get a rough estimate, by working it out using the JD historical daily staking data, and looking at what % of the bank roll you have.

I've been having fairly consistent problems accessing bitfinex for a while now, is this true for everyone?

Works fine for me. Haven't had any issues lately.
Have you tried clearing cookies and cache? Using a different browser etc...
30  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] CoinMap - Map showing places where Bitcoin is accepted on: April 07, 2015, 09:11:49 PM
Can someone tell me why (and fix) this node that I have created but isn't showing up on Coinmap?

http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3433955408
It's OK for me too.

I think we should search for a FLOS-alternative to coinmap.org.

It works now, and I can see it in coinmap. I'm not sure it should have taken 3 or 4 days to show up though.
Thanks for looking into it though Cheesy

Google Authenticator, but only because it's the only I have used.
Are there any other ones that are actually better?

34  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: March 17, 2015, 06:36:29 PM
Bitfinex charges you 1% of the total money you want to withdraw with min. fee of $20 when you choose the express wire option, and they claim to process the withdrawal request within 24 hrs, but what happens when it takes them more than 24 hrs to process an express wire withdrawal? Mine has been longer than 24 hrs now and still not processed  Undecided

If they haven't processed it within 24 hours, then that is no longer an express withdrawal. You should contact support and ask for them to only charge you the standard rate of 0.1% or $20, which ever is greater.

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Third USMS Auction Winners, Still Not Revealed on: March 12, 2015, 09:17:09 PM
Is the United States Marshal Service legally obliged to keep the winners names secret?
Don't think they are obliged.
They haven't complied with Freedom Of Information requests for previous winner names. (Although now we know)
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coindesk is giving away a Macbook on: March 12, 2015, 08:35:37 PM
ROFL... I thought Coindesk was doing something special...
Until I found this: https://deals.androidauthority.com/giveaways

They are just whitelabeling there own platform and earning referral fees.
38  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfenix Verification? Why do they need so much personal info? on: March 12, 2015, 06:28:13 PM
Bitfinex does have the strictest verification I have come across from all exchanges I have tried so far.
This is however to future proof them from any regulatory KYC/AML requirements at a future date.
It is better that they comply now, rather than risk being shut down, and potentially losing millions. No one wants that!

I found the verification process, strict, but it was all processed very quickly.

Does anyone know why the Bitfinex facebook page is so inactive?
https://www.facebook.com/bitfinex

Last post was in June 2014. Is it not an official page?

Location is set to Lyon, France which is quite odd, considering Bitfinex is in Hong Kong.
