41  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: December 04, 2019, 07:20:21 AM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
I have read a lot of self-development books and some millionaire books and I have to conclude that being rich or poor depends on very little of your IQ. And the truth is that, I see that many people with high IQ, they study all subjects are good but they do not like a life too rich. They want a normal life and then they squander their talents. And for those who have the will to get rich, they do everything to improve their knowledge and often they will be much richer for those who are intelligent but have no will. So your orientation and will is important in whether you are rich or not.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: December 03, 2019, 03:01:52 PM
hey guys, i'm quite serious on this topic because of the confusing people when talking about Bitcoin "deflation". As far as I understand, the deflation is that goods are cheaper than they are on time or because there is no need to buy goods or the supply of money gets lower.
So for Bitcoin, why is there a deflation? Although I know that miners will find it harder to mine bitcoins after every Halving event, the value of our goods stays the same and is based on fiat money. Bitcoin's price is still being manipulated and it is not necessarily a strong growth after halving. or the best example is Litecoin. after halving, its price is halved instead of rising higher.
So, the question is, does the Halving event actually cause deflation, or is it just some bullshit theory?
Ps: I highly appreciate the comments with sincere contributions. Thanks
I don't think it actually creates deflation. Here, deflation is the appearance of negative interest rates or our money can buy more goods than last year. halving will make the value of Bitcoin grow and it can buy more goods but we still cannot say that it is a deflationary mechanism. we should say it is a reduction in inflation. means that there is still inflation happening but Halving will reduce the inflation level and balance it.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Developer arrested in US for teaching North Korea how to launder money on: December 02, 2019, 05:26:26 AM
Ethereum research scientist Virgil Griffith allegedly went all the way to Pyongyang to teach North Korean scientist and hackers how to launder and receive money that they earn by ransoming and hacking around the world. He taught them how to effectively use Ethereum without being found.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/u-authorities-arrest-ethereum-research-200109230.html
This is really very bad news and this will greatly affect ethereum in the future. We should know that the US government is the most powerful organization in the world and they hate anyone who stands in their way and even harms them. I think in the future they will pay more attention to ethereum and will teach this business a lesson.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: December 01, 2019, 08:05:04 AM
If you are fond of watching Youtube and clicking links on it this is something you should be aware of
Quote
Slovakian software security firm Eset has uncovered that cyber criminals behind the Stantinko botnet have been distributing a Monero (XMR) cryptocurrency mining module via Youtube.

More of this story here:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/cyber-criminals-are-using-youtube-to-install-cryptojacking-malware
Wow, this is a very imaginative thing. I thought it only spread on links to virus sites. This market now has too many scammers and hackers. It seems that it is no longer safe and we should withdraw all the money before everything is too late.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is Crushing The U.S. in Blockchain Adoption on: December 01, 2019, 07:52:24 AM
China is Beating The U.S. in Blockchain Adoption.  READ THE FULL ARTICLE VIA THE LINK BELOW https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2019/11/30/china-is-beating-the-u-s-in-blockchain-adoption/
I am very encouraged and glad that a power like China is strongly supporting the development of blockchain technology. It is also a very good sign representing the generation of civilization 5.0. But using this blockchain technology is not an easy one either. In some Southeast Asian countries are also trying to apply this blockchain technology but it is quite difficult because the majority are poor people and they have difficulty in applying blockchain technology.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: December 01, 2019, 06:58:16 AM
A friend from my street came by today to tell about a coin named LCC (Litecoin cash) and he told me he has already invested on the coin, i asked him what makes him invested in it, like what is the real use case of the coin and he have no straight answer, after a while i found out he invested in the coin because of what a analyst said about the project, are there people like this on here? after so many scams since 2018? i decide to do few diggings and i see that LCC is not that bad but my point is why invest on a project because someone said they are good?
This is one of the psychologies often seen in new people. they suffer from a mentality that people often refer to as FOMO (fear of missing out). meaning they don't want to miss a good chance so they always follow in the footsteps of others despite not knowing what is ahead. Everyone has gone through this stage, but only after losing money can they realize many things.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are getting smarter but why not developers???? on: December 01, 2019, 06:53:20 AM
investors are invading some exchanges why not developers? i know listing fee can be huge but few exchanges are just scam practitioners, developers should take their time to check out scam accusation thread on this forum and see how many people are been ripped off by these so called exchanges e.g idax p2pb2b among others
I think they are people who know better than us but they do so intentionally. because right from the start, they created the project not for the purpose of developing it. they created it to take away investor money and pay as little as possible, when all the tasks were done they exit then scam! Projects that target listing on bad exchanges are often fraudulent. stay away from it and never put your money in projects with such poor ideas.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exhibit incomes, assets, orders, profits by exchange api, would you like to see? on: November 30, 2019, 08:47:30 AM
If i show up my assets, incomes, orders, profits by exchange api for about half year and get a good achievement ,will people believe in me or follow me ?
There is a website which can connect excheng api and show the data like, assets, incomes, orders, profits of individual trader or trading fund.

This website want to help KOL, analyst, good traders to make their credit history.
Any functions you like, please leave your words below.
Actually this is not so necessary. because we have so many telegram trading communities now, we just need to try to win big and put the results up there and there will automatically be a lot of our fans and it will be easy to have a community . Sometimes the community there also helps us to earn more money because many people can easily approach us and we can teach courses for them. As for applications like that, it will not be too effective and it is only bragging nature.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems in Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 08:15:37 AM
Trading has become financial slavery and it really has to change.
Everyday there's something out there there tries to lie to people and abuse them with fake information, trolls, and fake volume nearly on every website but mostly on Binance.com trying to make them buy bitcoin literally everyday, harassing them with constant buy trades and fake volume as if doing anything else is wrong.

It gets so wrong and abusive that traders hardly have time to sleep let alone take a shower or clean their own home.
I'm not sure how many people speak out about this but it's going to have to start to be discussed eventually more.

I think this is a common problem for traders and it is not related to the law. Perhaps as you think this is an incident involving manipulation but this is called freedom of speech. anyone can speak and say anything as long as no damage to anyone.
so the urging of many sharks to be seen as their strategy and only the sheep will be trapped.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 30, 2019, 08:02:04 AM
Hello all,

need advise, if any exist Smiley
I am trading btc few years - but it seems I havent learnt anything. My plan was to use bitcoin volatility to earn some extra btc, but it seems I am not able to do this.
I am selling/buying always in wrong time. Using volume as only indicator, as others do not make sense for me.

For example I see a series of red candles with increased selling volume, price crossing support line (like today crossing 7040, 7000, 6900 USD) so I sold 0.8btc in expectation price fall to 6500 usd as few days ago.
But 1.5 hour later price changed and went up and my prediction was again wrong. And the same is during increase of price. If the price hits e.g. 10300 usd and starts falling I do not sell, because I am not sure when it will turn again. And then I usually miss fall in price from 10300 to 7300 which is finally 3000 usd, what you can earn on 1 sold btc at correct time.

Am I doing something completly wrong? Or it is not possible to predict the movement of btc?

thanks
P.

I think this happened because of your inexperience in identifying market trends and market corrections. This is one of the very basic things that traders need to know and master it well before trading with large amounts of money.
As far as I know, when bitcoin falls sharply at some point, it will certainly have a correction. it happens because the crowd thinks that this is the bottom of the market at this point so they will continue to be stronger. and you should take advantage of that opportunity to sell bitcoins, not when they have just hit the bottom.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: November 27, 2019, 12:54:15 PM

What is your take on this and what do you think will make governmental bodies to finally accept crypto?
I think this is very difficult and probably will not happen. I only hear many governments around the world praising blockchain technology, besides I don't see them talking well about cryptocurrency. why? because it is one of the best money laundering tools for sharks that the government cannot control. That's why many governments ban crypto and China is also closing down a series of crypto businesses. 173 enterprises have ceased operations and the next will be more than other garbage businesses.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 27, 2019, 12:47:03 PM
As long as there is block inflation, it's exactly that, inflation. Only when the last one single satoshi has been minted, miners fully rely on transaction fees, then Bitcoin will start to be a deflationary currency. Why? Because people lose coins for 1001 different reasons. All the satoshis lost directly lower the number of circulating satoshis, and that happens year after year after year.

It's something we don't yet have to worry about because most of us won't live to tell what exactly is going to happen, and how the market will react to it.
So in your opinion, deflation will not happen now, but when the supply of bitcoin is fully mined and the demand is high, then deflation will occur?
but there is another theory that bitcoin is just a tool for sharks to manipulate. So if one day, people realized the value of bitcoin and no longer needed to buy it, would it become zero and disappear? so there will be no deflation then? right?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet best for your currency store? on: November 26, 2019, 07:22:04 AM
I have never used Blockchain, but I will try it with some money in the future. But I think it's still not as good as Coinbase's wallet system since Coinbase's transaction fee is very cheap and fast.
Perhaps in the future there will be no wallet that can replace Coinbase. Do you agree with me?
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $35 million worth of ETH for a ridiculous $0.07 transfer fee? on: November 26, 2019, 07:13:26 AM
We always know that blockchain technology is really appreciated and widely applied in many large businesses in Europe and North America. Blockchain technology is being expanded in many countries and in the future it will be available in all banks. Transnational depositors will no longer have to worry about fees and waiting times.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs. Dogecoin - FML on: November 25, 2019, 04:12:58 AM
So I invested in Litecoin at around 0.015 BTC because of the halving but it has been such a massive disappointment. Dogecoin on the other hand has maintained its value against BTC and is now even higher. I don't get it? There's only gonna be 64 million LTC ever but DOGE is over 120 billion now with no max supply and keeps adding about 5 billion new DOGE to its supply every year. Why is DOGE holding stronger than LTC Sad
This is not related to the supply. It has to do with the way the CEOs conduct businesses. because the halving event happened but the price of Litecoin was not as good as expected, this led to miners selling off their LTC to flee this bad business. In the future, if Litecoin continues this performance, it will soon out of the top 10.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: November 24, 2019, 02:04:20 AM
Alts have been known for their fakeouts. But it turns out, this time alts are poised to pop hard. What do u think? Its been five days since the moment alts first started showing signs of unrestrained bullishness. Im monitoring these suckers hell I do. Look up binance charts. Alt season may have just started. Do u guys buy? By the way, tradingview people seem to be deaf to what Im saying. No one gives a shit. Just an army of stupid scants doing 10 bucks bitcoin swing trades, and maybe ripple also. No one wants to hear about alts. Whats the matter with ya?
This is due to the sudden increase in bitcoin's trading trend, and traders often follow what is causing the trend. That's why the volume and dominance of Bitcoin has increased dramatically over the years. and the reason for this is that bitcoin and manipulating organizations want the market to focus on it so they create specific volatility.
But do not worry. The trend is just short and the season of alts will soon come. We need to buy and hold from now.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: November 24, 2019, 01:58:56 AM
Is it possible that we see another altcoin season, if Bitcoin breaches the all-time high and go above 20k? Do you find a direct correlation?
We can totally see that when bitcoin grew to $ 20k suddenly. everything will happen as quickly as the last months of 2017 and will gradually fade away like 2018. and I believe that things will not happen so quickly in the future. everything needs to be stable and grow slowly because investors are now more experienced and the whales are no longer able to manipulate like they used to be.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 09:46:08 AM
The fact that altcoins like ETH, BCH and others are slowly gaining more use has made me thinking. If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?
Personally, I like to take risks and like to get rich quickly so I like to choose alts that no one has noticed and hold it for long term. I usually choose alts outside the top 100 and look at the chart and its community to determine whether to speculate or not. 100% of my speculative portfolio is alts and there is no bitcoin.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 09:30:44 AM
In fact, since the bubble burst and read some more documents about blockchain and bitcoin, I decided not to hold bitcoin. because bitcoin has no value and it only grows when sharks propel its price high and are in danger of collapse. I do not want my portfolio to face such great risks. so I just TA daily and find the right buy points and make a profit from it. Holding should only take place in the stock market and some large businesses.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Negative interest rates in Germany on: November 22, 2019, 12:36:14 PM
wow, this shows that Germany is really underdeveloped in terms of economy. In fact, negative interest rates have existed for a long time but they only appear in times when the economy is gradually going into crisis or trade war.
This is a worrying sign for Germany and commercial banks are forced to operate at full capacity for the country to develop again. We can expect the German currency to decline in the near future.
