661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no doubt that bitcioin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency on: May 15, 2018, 11:16:51 AM
I had previously doubted that Bitcoin would be replaced by another currency. But my mind has changed. Because I see there are many other cryptocurrencies that the developers are trying hard to solve the problems in cryptocurrencies.  What about bitcoin? We don't know who are the developers and no effort is being made to develop it.
If you don't try hard, your rivals will win. Bitcoin's rivals will win too.

I do not think so. Bitcoin is still run by some people but we do not know them. Although bitcoin trading is costly and time consuming, it has many benefits. Bitcoin is very expensive and is very well suited for large transactions, the fee will be cheaper if fewer bitcoins are traded.
For other altcoins, the amount of each altcoin is too low so the transaction will become much slower and the charge will be higher. So I think Bitcoin will still be in the top 1.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 15, 2018, 11:12:22 AM
That is very normal because the Crypto market has experienced a series of serious scams and hurt merchants so much. The Crypto market is completely anonymous; you can use fake information to scam others without certification. So everyone is careful about dealing privately with strangers, that's a good thing.
I think we should protect our property by that way of thinking. Grin
663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: May 14, 2018, 09:41:59 AM
I have been investing in cryptocurrency for 5 months . I am buying some icos and holding coins. I started with 5000 usd. And sometimes my balance went up to 30k and down to 12k . I feel very uncomfortable when my balance is dropped.
So i want to know is there any strategy to protect your balance before the dump?
Anyone can help please.
Thank you so much.
You should not be upset when your money is reduced several times because it is the nature of the job. When the market goes down, all investors lose their significant amount of money. But the difference between a good and a normal person is psychological stability.
You should get used to this in order to have a better mood and good things will come to you. Talk about dump, no one can predict it, you need to have a strategy to fight it.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NEO on: May 14, 2018, 09:38:47 AM
After previous crash most of the coins are pumping but neo still not seeing Sun light after crash .
But there is lots of good nes on NEO blockchain . Some recent succesful projects were ontology , pikciochain there is lots
Even NEXO exchange going to launch soon . MOre chinese investors are interested on NEO based projects .
What do you think NEO will be Pumped soon or later ??". IS that good investment for long term ??
NEO is a very wonderful altcoin from China. Although NEO is not pumping some of the other altos, we can see the reality of it.
Most altcoins that are pumped too strongly fall off very strongly, I see it as instantaneous value. NEO is stable because they are concentrating on implementing a project in the future. In July they will announce that.
My conclusion: NEO is good for a long-term investment strategy.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: May 14, 2018, 09:35:47 AM
Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?
In my opinion, the ripple is really a currency of the future. It is a huge altcoin with the help of 6 different big and small banks all over the world.
We can see a great deal of capital and that is the foundation that will help it thrive in the long run. In the future, it can beat ETH because there are so many advantages.
XRP always has the cost of transferring money is very low and processing speed is quite fast. I highly appreciate this and hope it will have a brighter future.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest? on: May 14, 2018, 09:32:46 AM
I am looking for projects to invest, any good idea for me?
I think you should invest in ICO projects. There are a number of ICO projects that are currently very well run and great ideas. Recently I have been involved in investing in a number of ICO projects and I have received a lot of profit from it.
There are rumors that most ICO projects are phishing, forget it and focus on potential ICOs. EdenChain and Quarkchain are 2 ICOs I feel very great. Investing in it is a smart decision.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: May 13, 2018, 04:27:01 PM
Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response
wow, that was a very long time. You can buy bitcoin and do not look at the chart. : D
Just kidding, I think you should invest in ICX or NEO. These are potential altcoins in a distant future. Look at the development of information technology in Korea and China, the governments of these two countries invest heavily in information technology and encourage students to follow that industry. This is a sign of the rapid development of technology in the future. that's just my guess, it's better you should analyze before deciding.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum for holding now on: May 03, 2018, 11:44:09 AM
Do you recommend investing in Ethereum rather than bitcoin for holding now ? Or Bitcoin should be first ?
Investing in ETH at the moment is good. Because the price of ETH has reached $ 700. This is beyond my imagination. I was wrong to think the value of bitcoin is $ 10500, then the new ETH is $ 700.
So we can see ETH is actively improving their business. Trust this altcoin, you will not be disappointed when investing in it. Wink
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: May 02, 2018, 04:17:03 AM
I think the founders are thinking that the Crypto market is a trend, calling for capital is quite easy and not many companies compete too much.
I think they know the potential of the Crypto market, this is a long-term market and there will be a lot of people investing in this market. So they want to create a company to have a large capital to operate.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: May 02, 2018, 04:13:55 AM
The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.

The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.

It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.

Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.

The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.

Face up to reality, the party is over.
I do not think this is the end of the Crypto market. The market has rebounded very strongly and bitcoin is at $ 9k. Those who do not trust the bitcoin will often not profit for them and I feel sorry for that.
When the price of bitcoin is $ 6k5 I have bought quite a lot and now I have profit over $ 15k. I feel lucky because I have confidence in bitcoin. Grin
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: May 01, 2018, 02:41:13 AM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin
I have a question like you but now I have the answer. I think they are quite similar companies but it is in different countries. People's demand for money transfer is increasing and people are always waiting for a favor. In addition, this is a very hot market and they use it to call in capital quickly. They will have more capital to carry out their business plans.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: May 01, 2018, 02:37:30 AM
Hey what do you think, can scenario of January repeat? I mean can everything suddenly fall again?
I think this is just the cycle of the Crypto market. We should not be too worried about this decline, as this is a good opportunity for us to make a profit. many have sold off some of their coins.
Speculative experts see the downfall as the blessing of God. Enjoy it before the green market returns! Grin
673  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2018, 03:03:29 AM
At the early stages Russia ruled it as illegal, China outlawed all withdrawals and some other country also spoke against it. But now everything seem to be smoothing up at least on the government side. Surely Bitcoin must be seen as challenging their authority. Is there something I am failing to see? All it would take is a 51% attack or a new law.
I think the governments of Russia and China have recognized the value of Bitcoin. I and my friends saw the great potential of bitcoin for the world economy.
Current countries in the world are very interested in foreign trade, because their country only develops when it has a better change in all aspects. Therefore, bitcoin is very useful for foreign trade when trading through countries is not a big problem for it.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: April 29, 2018, 02:59:58 AM
In my view, bitcoin will be the first coin to appear and also the last die of the cryptography industry. Because it has brought blockchain technology to other altocoins, it has created a huge technology industry that is strongly developed and has no reason for it to leave the market.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need to say more? on: April 28, 2018, 11:04:10 AM
Taxi was doing a perfectly good job....
but Uber works better!!!

Landlines phone were perfectly good phone...
But cellphone works better...

We have Fiat but Bitcoin was introduce...
Do I need to say more?
Bitcoin and Fiat have two different functions. Bitcoin is just an electronic currency tool and is traded in the Crypto market, and it can not be applied to any other system. fiat money is usually used to pay small fees for daily living. It's quite different so I think the world needs fiat money and crypto to make a better world. I still think fiat money is higher than Bitcoin. Grin
676  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: April 28, 2018, 11:00:26 AM
I decided to quit ICO's. From December till now I invested about 5 eth into several ICO's. Invest what you can miss, this is what was able to miss.

Right now the first few of my ICO's have reached the exchanges. Most are under performing, but this is related to the overall dip (can be read everywhere). I understand, but ICO token economics have changed also.

  • massive hardcaps
  • most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
  • much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
  • immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
  • no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
  • too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
  • too many ICO's in general
  • too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
  • many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
  • ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.

I was 'unlucky' to miss out on a few ICO's besides the ones I was able to participate in. Afterwards I am glad, since I was able to pick most up at a fraction of the ICO price.

Important as ever: DYOR as not all ICO's have a genuine solution to a genuine problem. Some may seem like a fantastic solution, but often it is marketing combined with a strong team, and not so much a great working product.

And who am I? I am definitely a nobody Tongue, but still wanted to share my experiences and perhaps save people from thinking of getting on board of the next x100 ICO Smiley

p.s. when a Telegram has over 20k subscribers all screaming 'when lambo' with endless rows of animated gifs, you may also wonder if this is a serious block chain solution which will revolutionize 'x' Smiley
I understand the meaning that you convey. Actually it is quite similar to my thinking. There are a lot of ICO projects created, but most of them have only one function - transfer money. If the Crypto market has 1,000 coins in the same function, then everything will become chaotic? I feel that ICO projects at the moment are very puzzling.
677  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 27, 2018, 10:39:28 AM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?
I think the Crypto market will last long and the big fish will take advantage of the Crypto market to make profits from people who have no experience in investing.
In my country, north, there are many people who do not understand the field of investment but they are very greedy people. When they hear about the growth of bitcoin, they invest blindly and never know the outcome of the investment.
The big fish will take advantage of the greed of many to make a profit, and I guess the market will be longer.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a book about bitcoins on: April 26, 2018, 01:34:44 AM
I want to buy a book about bitcoins ,I know here is allot information on this forum and also on social  media but I want  to buy one on the Internet please any suggestions.
books on bitcoin are quite few and for high quality reading is not possible. I think you should learn them through google or friends. They will summarize bitcoin knowledge so that you can better understand Blockchain technology.
Or if you have no bitcoin friends, you can contact supporters about bitcoin so that they can help you learn more about bitcoin.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: April 26, 2018, 01:27:50 AM
Bitcoin is decentralized so that whoever you are from wherever you are rich or poor, you are free to use bitcoin for any purpose. Bitcoin is freely used for anyone. anywhere

What is your response with this opinion?
I think this is really a great thing. Bitcoin does not have racial discrimination, there is no distinction between rich and poor. Anyone can get rich by bitcoin. That is why so many people have become rich by bitcoin.
This is a potential market but not too demanding. It does not require an investor certificate or any qualifications to work for ICO projects. This really helped a lot of people without a degree.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: April 25, 2018, 04:04:52 AM
Last year alts rise a lot. I dont know the average percentage. But when I check coins in the market at year 2013 lots of them dead now (too low ranks). probably new tech coins won them (like peercoin, namecoin, ixcoin etc)

Also we are following new ICO s and most of us expecting too much gain from new coins which are not at the market. If our ICO expectations will happen, when they added to market, current market coins will go down. kind of paradox  Huh
Holding is never dangerous. It's like you invest in stocks. There are many different types of investments and strategies to choose from.
We should not compare short-term investment better or long-term investment is better. It depends on the altcoin and your investment ideas. Anyway, the hold still brings a lot of profit to those who have patience.
