Turn that doge into Litecoin cash

true.
Love Litecoin Cash and Litecoin too.
Brothers. All time.
My love is only for Litecoin right now but Litecoin Cash also looks very attractive. Am I a sinner? lol j/k aside, still not buying the idea of Litecoin Cash at all.

You had me there for a moment... LCC was just a premine scam.

BREAKING: #Binance to now require all users to complete KYC Verification amid mounting pressure from worldwide regulators.

So what? This news is now presented as latest fud?  Grin Whats so negative about it?

Exactly. Same shit, different exchange. Whenever I see someone whining about KYC I just wanna slap the bastard! Smiley

You want to trade BTC<>fiat, you will have to deal with KYC. It's that simple...

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/study-finds-most-highly-educated-americans-are-also-most-vaccine-hesitant

Quote
“It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a PhD.

In addition, while the lowest educated saw the largest drop in vaccine hesitancy for the first five months of 2021, those with PhD’s were the most likely to not change their minds."

This meme is incredibly accurate. I know a few of those hesitant PhDs... All quite intelligent and knowledgeable. My god do they know everything about everything. Breathtaking! Not a single one of them has a PhD in epidemiology though. Or medicine/biology. Or any natural science branch for that matter...

Just going to leave this here without making any conclusions Wink

Živjo!
I will go to Slovenia and open a trading business there since I've got an opportunity to live there thanks to a friend and tax seems better than in my country. Which bank is the most bitcoin friendly?
I've read about "Gorenjska banka" (It was the bank of Bitstamp if I remember).
Hvala lepa!
[Follow-up]
WTF!?! I've been to Gorenjska banka then to NovaKBM and in addition to the normal personal documents, they are demanding a "Potrdilo o zaposlitvi ali prejemanju pokojnine" (certificate of employment or retirement).
So only slaves or old people are allowed in their f** banks! You can't be self-employed (and let alone in crypto-trading) apparently  Angry

Self-employed is considered employed in Slovenia. But this document is only a requirement if you want a bank loan, not a normal personal bank account. They probably wanted to sell you one of their expensive personal accounts that includes a line of credit. Hence the requirement to have a stable income.

But this doesn't matter anyway. If you will open a trading business, you need a business account for your company...

At what point is mimblewimble?

Google says end of 2021...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 01, 2021, 06:55:30 AM
Still, LTC was the second cryptocurrency to be released, and despite being a BTC clone, it was always better and more evolved. If the crypto market finally goes bullish again, I am confident that LTC will follow and the price will rise; but, if anyone believes that LTC will go on its own bull run due to Mimblewimble or any other technological advancement, I am skeptical.
LTC was probably not the second cryptocurrency to be released. NameCoin was. Correct me if I am wrong.

I believe you're right. According to the bitcointalk, NameCoin's ANN was posted on April 18, 2011, compared to LiteCoin's ANN that was posted nearly six months later.
Additionally, before LiteCoin there was another fork of Bitcoin that is still active today: Ixcoin.

All you boys need to do is read the first few lines of the OP of this thread. Where Charlie writes about many failed and struggling coin projects that served as inspiration to Litecoin...
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: May 19, 2021, 06:43:14 AM
As expected litecoin reaches where its belong. The sleeping giant litecoin bounce back nicely. From now, I'm hoping the trend will continue at this level. This is what I would expect a great 2x potential. Lots of demand, we are bullish on liecoin.
Yes, LTC is recovering the attention that was given to DOGE. It's a matter of time for LTC to appreciate even more. Perhaps the $500 price tag will not be just a dream. Only one catalyst is missing for LTC to demonstrate its potential and if it were a meme coin you wouldn't need anything.

You see what Litecoin Cash just did?
What is Litecoin Cash? A fork of Litecoin, similar to Bitcoin Cash?

Worse, much worse. A fork with a 0.65% premine. Basically DOA, but there are still some shills that try to prop up the price so they can unload their useless stash...

What could be the price in 1 week? I'm really tired of holding it now,?

Yes!
there is about 4 ltc. you think i should sell I wonder how soon will the price be, are there any good news for ltc?

Sell now, cry later Wink Or don't sell now and also cry later.

Basically, there will be a lot of crying in your future... Such is life...

Can you explain it more clearly bro, I'm really stressed

Sell or don't sell. Your choice. Nobody has the answer. Anyone who tells you what to do is pulling answers out of their a**.

If you are stressing over 4 LTC, then this game is not for you. Sure, it's almost $800, but that's not life changing money in any part of the world. Perhaps it's better to sell and forget crypto exists. Health is the most important thing.

Edit: Also. The most important question to ask yourself is: What option is going to hurt you more?
1. You sell and the price goes up 10x?
2. You don't sell and the price goes down 10x and stays there for a long time...

Both options are equally valid and entirely possible. You have to decide for yourself.

Nice!

TL;DR: It's the library for Mimblewimble for Litecoin. Just commited to Github.

Yeah, they still use Gorenjska Banka. Most banks are pretty neutral, but I know for a fact that SKB is pretty hostile towards crypto.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 24, 2021, 02:13:10 PM
Well, as I said it's best to have fiat (shitcoin) for this one. Which is why I won't do it. But, basically you buy however many BTC on the spot for current price of 55000. At the exact same time you sell a future, perhaps Sep 26th for this example, for the same number of BTC at a current price of 62700. profit equals 7,700 minus fees per coin

This can be done using CBOE and CME as well as many others, perhaps less reputable exchanges.

The risk for this trade is couter-party only and of course opportunity cost (there is no possiblity of capital gains or losses). Not your keys not your coins. Thing is it's all about levels of risk and what you are comfortable with in the end as well as your goals. Just remember nothing is risk free. Even holding your own keys is not risk free, there are roughly 4million inaccessible coins to prove that.

*Above prices are taken from Deribit.
How does this work exactly? I would love a bit more ELI5.

I posted a link earlier, here it is again.

The WO sometimes must be combed thoroughly, but it usually does deliver good info - be it bitcoin or digital cameras.

Not trolling. What does WO stand for?

it seems impossible use kraken during these big dumps Sad I am trying to use the "instant buy crypto" functions but I get just errors each time.
anyone has seen the same issue? any idea about to avoid it?

update my bank account made the payment. the kraken account has been initially loaded and then funds removed.... no btc order not processed at the end Sad

Say what you want about Kraken, but you have to admit they are consistent. Market moves by more than 10%, Kraken servers die. Every. Single. Time.

It's nice to have things you can rely on...

Where do they hide the Litecoin Bootstrap?
All the links I find are old or not there anymore.

Did you try the first link on google? https://bootstrap.cryptopanel.de/

litecoin outperformed ripple in the rank by capitalization. Now is 4th ( the 3th is usdt) I hope that within a few weeks it will reach the right value.

And more importantly, it is worth more than BCash and SV combined Cheesy
acute observation! among other things, I never understood why Litecoin never fork.

It did. But Litecoin Cash was just a premine pump and dump scam, that was fortunately a short-lived miserable failure.

Ark falling apart because of btc rise. Dropping to 162 on cmc now!

Looks like ark development is behind as always with the market square and v3 not launching yet..

What happened to arks Bitcoin funds...

C'mon. There has to be more you're interested in than a bad investment? Or is this a 'Ark whine account'?

In either case:
-Market square is due to go into beta in Q1 21.
-v3 has been public for a while now and is in active development and testing. You really don't want to rush things like this or you're one critical bug away from crashing the ecosystem.

2021 is the year to launch anyway. They made a lot in the last few years, but the market just didn't care. But with BTC getting a new ATH, we're set for another crazy year. From an investors point of view, this is the time for groundbreaking launches. Now that people are starting to pay attention again.
